This is the second time I have stayed at Royal Macau. It’s a luxurious hotel up the hill. The staff is super friendly and thankfully for me all speak English. They have wonderful shuttles down to the Ferry which was also nice. The first evening of this stay, they presented some Portuguese cookies to my room and some drinks of thanks for staying again. The rooms are not large but perfectly decorated. And everything in the hotel is spotless. Even have a small casino to blow off some late night steam. A few restaurants, and wonderful breakfast croissants downstairs after 9am. Great views out the room, and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. A 7/11 across the street to buy anything needed. And they even have Coca Cola in a white can without sugar that tastes splendidly great! Thanks so much for the staff for all you do! I recommend this room for business traveler or couples wanting a romantic weekend away. Marvelous.

Hotel with very good location”
The hotel is situated at the centre of Macau City wherein it is very near most of Macau City's major attraction. They also offer free shuttle from-to the port area, though they don't have one going to the Macau Airport. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. They have very nice and clean rooms. The rooms are well-maintained. The buffet breakfast is good though they are almost with the same variety everyday, but they tastes delicious and most is asian cuisine. I love their variety of bread though. The wi-fi is strong in our room so giving 5 stars to this hotel.

Hotel provides free bus shuttle from ferry terminal to hotel and from hotel to ferry terminal every 30min. We just wait in front of the hotel. If u want to go to cotai area such as Venetian and parisian, can take free shuttle to ferry terminal, then take parisian / Venetian free shuttle. Just take a 15min walk to ruins of st paul. U will pass by many store which sell clothes and foods on ur way to ruins of st paul. Hotel room is clean and staffs are friendly. I definitely will come back together stay here again. THE ROOM LOOKS AMAZING. Service was amazing. Made a local phone call in the room that didnt connect. Was still reflected as a $3 phone charge in their system. Upon hearing my explanation at checkout. The counter staff waived the fee no qns asked. I didnt even had to ask for a waiver. Upon checking in, they upgraded my room to a premium room as well. Excellent decor, view, amenities provided and strong strong wifi. Located in the central of major tourist hotspots, making it walking distance to them. Also provided a shuttle service to tourist spots and casinos. Only complain facility wise I might have is the lack of shuttle bus to the zhuhai/ gongbei customs. Gym and pool looked fantastic. All in all a great value for money. Luxurious and posh, perfect if you wanna pamper yourself and your significant other. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Found this hotel to be very comfortable, staff friendly, efficient, had good English, Room very clean, comfortable and spacious, bed super comfy. Location was ideal for either walking around the centre or using either the shuttle or public buses. From street below hotel you can take the number 22bus to Taipa . Swimming pool good, calm are after the hustle bustle outside. Plenty eats, sights, all within walking distance,much smaller than it initially appears. From the Lisbosa casino hotel you can use this as a point of navigation Would highly recommend.

Great for value and convenient for the cultural end of town ”
Stayed 4 nights in a Premier Room with Lounge access. Comp'd a suite on a lower floor as we suspect the Premier floors were full. Everything has to be signed for even when it's included, eg breakfast and lounge refreshments, but it's not added to your bill. Food offerings in the lounge were excellent. Plenty of choice for breakfast too but don't leave it late as it gets busy, causing a queue to be seated, and some items run out. There's a free shuttle to the ferry terminal where you can hop on a free bus to any of the hotels on the strip. Or the local bus is 2 mins from the hotel and costs 60p to go anywhere. Service was excellent throughout.

Best hotel I ever stayed ”
Staff is helpful and speak English - room bellboy to reception to F&B. Breakfast was great. Room is spacious and clean. Housekeeping done good job in my entire 3 nights stay. Amenities is also excellent. 7eleven just at the corner and few lovely cafe around - for a coffee lover like me, it does make a different. Just a walking distance - 800m to Senado Square. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

A nice retreat from the glitzy part of town. This is a great quality hotel for less than you pay at the resorts in Tapai. Rooms are spacious, clean. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Hotel bar is good. Lots of great restaurants around to eat and live very affordably. The hotel indoor pool is beautiful.

We were given free upgrade to the suite. It was amazing - huge clean rooms, fully furnished with toiletries and other knick-knacks you may need. TV had lots of channels in both English and non-English languages. Good location, within walking distance to food and sights. There is a 7-11 just across the road. The shuttle bus to the ferry terminal is also very convenient!

All the staff were accommodating and the rooms we reserved were big and clean enough for our family. Their shuttle service is always on time and the hotel location is near Macau’s sneaker street. There’s also restaurants and convenient stores near the hotel so it was not hard for us to buy things that we need. Overall, our experience with this hotel is great and will definitely stay here again if we come back to Macau!

Got upgraded to Premier Room. Room was spacious with extra large bed and plenty of room. Modern and clean. Had a view of the Lisboa. 10-15 walk to major attractions but the hotel was in a quiet area. A few eating places close by. Check in and check out easy. Would recommend if you want to stay away from the big casinos but still enjoy Macau

Great staffs, super clean room and bathroom, huge room size too. Located near the school and police station. A quite place rather than others was surrounding with casinos. Walking distance to shop-lots and (less than 10 minutes) fast food chain - MCD, (2minutes) 7-eleven. It was The greatest stay we had during our 1-month southeast Asia trip. Thank you.

I highly recommend this hotel not just because it has comfortable, clean, spacious room, location & friendly staffs but the staffs go beyond that by offering us help when my dad was not well & needed to be hospitalized. The bellboy went with us to the hospital(which is really.......nearby, thankfully) & stayed until situation settled in the hospital. We are really thankful for & appreciate the help given.

The facilities are a little bit old, but the place is very clean. It makes me feel comfortable to stay. The hotel is not so big, but the essential services are all here. I like their frequent and fast bus services to the city centre and ferry terminal. The location is close to the famous travel attractions, like Ruins of St. Paul's and Monte do Forte, which is convenient for backpack travellers.

Beautiful room, excellent staff, and great food. All around amazing...”
There were probably 200 Chinese women checking in when i arrived at the hotel. I thought this was not good, as i would probably wait a long time. Thankfully, I was wrong. Less than five minutes later, I was off to my beautiful room. It was sparkling clean. Nice materials and linens. Bathroom super clean and marble. Spacious. Nice desk to do a little light writing. Excellent lighting in the room to set an ambiance. TV service had world-wide channels. Restaurant and room service were excellent. The dessert place near the lobby had cake that was to die for. Probably the best overall value I have ever got for the price. I have had nicer rooms at 5x the price, but this overall was the nicest room for the price I have ever had the opportunity to stay in... Love it all. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Easy walk down the hill to restaurants. Every taxi driver knew the place by name.

Love indoor Swimming pool. Love restaurants nearby. Love ease and convenience by public bus that you can go anywhere, plus regular hotel shuttle that brought me back, plus value of money is excellent. One drawback for me from Hong Kong. Many other hotels in Macau provide TV channel for Hong Kong residents with TVB Pearl (English) and Jade (Chinese), plus J2 channel. When I have been following TV series, it would be great to enjoy them too. So far all hotels I stay in Macau provide J2 channel, Fox Sports channel, but NOT Hotel Royal. I reflected the installment of J2 many times to Hotel Royal direct, but it was ignored , very disappointed !

From the ferry terminal, just cross the street using the underpass and wait for the shuttle to this hotel. Shuttle ride is every 30 minutes. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by our fellow Pinoys with a smile. The one in the concierge was very helpful. The room is quite large (compared to HK) and i think that’s good value for my money. Walking distance to Senado square. If you want to go to Cotai area just hop on back to the shuttle to the ferry terminal and transfer to another shuttle going to the hotel of your choice. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Convenience place to stay in Macau & there are few vegetarian shops nearby within walking distance (found 3 vegetarian shops which is within 5 mins walking). 7-11 just opposite next to the hotel. Hotel provides shuttle bus to ferry station & you can actually take other interchange shuttle buses provided by other Casino Hotels to around Macau. We took free shuttle bus to & from the airport but it will take some times as interchange bus is required. Hotel has indoor swimming pool & a little casino as well. Price is very reasonable when you compared to other 5 star hotel in Macau. Public transport is 6 MOP /pax per trip no matter the distance (1st or last stop). Thanks Roy for the free upgrade to Deluxe room. Will come back again.
