It’s near JR and metro station. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby. The room is small but is it common in japan. It provides everything you need. The breakfast coupon can be used in the afternoon for bread or cake set which is very useful for people who do not want to wake up early ( I personally think their cake is much more attractive than the breakfast...). Definitely recommend it to travelers who look for simple and convenient hotel in ueno.

Great place to stay”

Pros: Good location, clean room and friendly staff. Cons: really small rooms (if you are a couple with several bags). Their breakfast was really strange - bread or pancakes with a cup of melted butter!

Great location, good value, helpful staff”

I feel so lucky I found this hotel for my week in Tokyo (very 1st visit). It’s in the middle of picturesque Ueno and next to the subway. Great AC, laundry facilities, clean room and nice bathroom. Highly recommended.

2nd stay ”

I love this hotel for the location. It’s away from the busy shipping area yet I could do some decent shopping in Ueno. Also, it’s easy to get to Shinjuku and other areas. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is simple in a small area. It comes with hotel reservation. Price is reasonable. A highly recommended hotel. Will come back for the third time.

Great Stay”

Great location, just a 5min walk from Ueno station. Also neat thr hotel is the tokyo Metro. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Checking in was a breeze, the staff speaks english. The rooms are on the small side but it was adequate for two people. The rooms come with complete anenities such mini ref, television and hair dryer. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Airconditioning was cold. Housekeeping was done everyday. Bathroom was also on the small side but again come with complete amenities such as toothbrush, shavers shampoos and conditioner. Water pressure was strong and hot water was available. Set breakfast was ok but choices are limited to just 4 items. Overall, it was a great 6 night stay. Would definitely book again this hotel when in Tokyo.

Very convenient location in downtown Tokyo near Ueno station and the park. Everything in the hotel looks brand new and looks very chic. Nothing much to do in the hotel itself but its a good base to explore the city. Room was small but that's expected in Tokyo.

Good location but poor Wi-Fi ”

My third stay in this hotel. Excellent location with express train going Narita Airport in less than 45 min. Loads of restaurants within 10 min walking distance. A lots of malls and markets around too. However you need to try a few times to connect to WiFi.

overall is a good quality hotel, location is the best, I like strong shower water pressure and it is one of the best i have stayed. hotel staffs are always helpful, thank you for every little help! one thing not that convenient is the small fridge, not much you could put it, it has no freezer as well.

Good location”

Very good location, near JR and metro station. Close to many attractive places eg Ueno, Ameyoko market, Takeya building. Friendly staff and good in english communication. Refrigerator in room malfunction, Breakfast is free in some items (hot dog, toast) and pay for some menu (curry rice is very good taste but no meat)

Great start for Tokyo and beyond trip”

Ueno is the hub for a number of tourist attractions. Staying here is a good choice and staying in this hotel makes even better. It looks a bit far from the Ueno station when look in the google map. However, it's the easy walk that no climbing the stairs. If taking Yamanote line, you can actually choose to walk to another station (Okachimachi if I remember right) which is nearer. The problem is with breakfast that the restaurant is more like a little cafe. They offer only carb for free i.e. bagels, pancake and toast. You can have protein with extra money. And if you come down after 9 o'clock. The place become hectic. This makes me give 3 stars for facilities. Well, you may need some meal from the station or minimart instead. I'd still recommend this hotel though.

The hotel was very welcoming even gave us a bigger room since we had 2 young children. Close to stations and stops.

Warm hotel”

We received a welcome gift for our little baby girl, that 's very surprising and warm. The location is close to train station, so the noise from trains passing by would bother at nights. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, but not many seats are available for dining in. Though the room space is really limited, the hotel is suitable for family with young children.

Comfy beds and close to JR station”

We stayed in 2 double beds room. Beds & pillows are very comfy. Room is a bit small we didn't have enough space to open all luggages. Great location only few mins walk to JR station. Breakfast is simple but delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location and services”

Everything is good. The location is convenient just walked 5 minutes from Uneo Skyliner station, and easy access to metro railway and JR station. Simple breakfast will be provided. The staff are helpful too.

Reasonable price Excellent Location”

Last Sat is my second stay in this hotel. I love the location with their reasonable price. There was one staff at the front desk can speak in Cantonese. I requested the same floor as coin laundry some weeks before my arrival, however they re-located me to one upper floor. They said it was because the coin laundry was on the smoking floor, but I am a non-smoker. I think the hotel could tell me the facts while the time I requested some weeks before. There was no air-con. the room was too hot, I have to open the windows to have some fresh air. The carpet was not clean enough. Overall, I have a pleasant stay with this hotel.

Clean and convenient ”

Pro: location is the best i could ask for. It’s close to many subway lines, JR, keisei to airport. You can also shop till late around here, few restaurants/shops with 24hr opening. The room is clean and the maid would clean up everyday. Con: I wouldn't call small room size a con since it's expected from Japanese standard. Breakfast was decent even though it's a basic breakfast set. It would just be a bit crowded in the morning since the shop was all also small

Small & cosy”

Overall, a pleasant stay though the rooms size are small, however, they allow up to 3 pax, which is please to us as it helps us save on the cost but we really had to squeeze on the queen size bed. Breakfast provided with a few choices, good enough to start the day and there are small souvenirs (eg. hair clip, facial wash, cleanser) for ladies complementary one per day.

Nice staff, excellent location and room is clean”

The staffs are very nice, the hotel is very near train stations, the room is clean with complete toiletries and very near ameyoko shopping center. I will book again in this hotel in my next japan travel.

Family travel to tokyo”

Location was easy to locate from Ueno-okachimachi station. Reception was friendly. Lots of amenities nearby and restaurants etc. 5 mins walk to Ueno station for shinkansen. Room was a bit tiny but clean.
