Hourly rate for late check out????”

I arrived at 6am due to change in international flight. I asked if I could have a late check out the same day i.e. until 12noon instead of 11am so that I could rest from the overnight flight. The staff wanted to charge Y1,100 for this additional hour. Unacceptable.

Rooms and bathrooms are very small but it is all very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and speak good English, there are lots of little extras available. Breakfast is orientated toward Japanese style rather than Western style.

Excellent Service (manage to retrieve lost items!)”

Room is of decent size, able to store luggages and still has room for walking, room is very neat and clean. We had a great comfortable stay. Location is good too, many convenience stores nearby and really near Kanda station. Quite a few 24hours restaurants around too. Left my wallet in the hotel after check-out and the staffs were really helpful to help me retrieve it! This hotel is definitely worth for their services and comfort!

If you are looking forward for a nice hotel with a good price, I strongly recommend you to stay here. This hotel is near a few stations (walking distance) including the Tokyo station. It is very convenience. :) The hotel is closed to 7-11.

Value for money ”

The room is a bit small. Ok for 2 pax. Location wise is good. The nearest station is Kanda and about 5mins walking distance to hotel. Along the way, there are 2 Lawson groceries shops and 1 7-11, very convenient. There are also a few good food nearby. Hotel provided all the basic stuff that you need. Breakfast is included. The variety is just nice.

Check in time is very strict, although we ask for earlier check in because we are so tired, still didn't allow us. But in the other hand, one japanesse man coming, about 2.30 ,( check in time is 3.00) a staff man , allow him to check in.may be because we not japanesse?? I don't know

Girls Trip to Tokyo”

It is our first trip to Tokyo and we chose Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Otemachi because of its price and location. Located near Kanda station, it is convenient to go to the tourist spots such as Shinjuku, Asakusa etc. Traveling from Narita Airport via skyliner was also convenient. The breakfast was actually quite alright and 7-11 was just next door. What amazes us the most the amenities. Our room has a Sharp Plasma purifier and the hotel includes coin laundry machines.

I think the price is equal for the service. All you need is clean bed, warm bath and rest, that's all you can have in this Hotel. Moreover, breakfast is ncluded and it is also enough, they have everyday salad, eggs and sometimes it is sausage sometimes it is fried potatos. Also have soups and some breads with tea or coffee that all u can take away, very convenient. As about location, it is very near Tokyo station that make easier for to travel by subway because this station is very convenient for transfer to everywhere in city.

The ladies at the front desk are very helpful. They printed out maps and directions for me, the trains to take etc. One of them helped me decide whether i should go to Hitachi Seaside Park or to Nikko (I went to Hitachi it was nearer, 2.5 hrs away vs 4 hrs for Nikko) on my day off from work.

Basics for reasonable price walking distance to financial district”

Rooms small and inelegant, but have everything you need. But bare bones services. Free breakfast is also basic but fast and edible. Good place to say when seeking low price and don't need to meet/host anyone at your hotel.

Nice hotel in a very quiet neighborhood”

The hotel is a cheap, budget, business hotel that is a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The walk itself is through a quite lively neighbourhood that becomes a small red-light district late into the night.

Clean rooms, fair location, good value for money”

Stayed at the hotel for my stay in Tokyo. Rooms are fair given the standard in Tokyo. Takes about 10mins walk from Kanda Station but good location. Convenience Store opposite the hotel was very handy. Overall a good value for money

Good location”

A little bit hard to find this hotel. If they provide online map to this hotel will be much better. Many restaurants near to the hotel (by walking distance) there's a 7-11 next to the hotel. So is very convenience. It would be much better if they provide wifi in guest room. Nothing great with the breakfast provided. Helpful staff. This hotel is more to business area. However with the strategic location, you are able go around in Tokyo. Clean room and their room is big as compare with my previous stay in others hotel in Tokyo.

Good service great location”

Located near the train station and many food outlets. The room was small but neat. The staffs speak english and are very helpful. You can travel around easily with the station nearby. For the price i paid i would certainly recommend. The breakfast is fairly simple with soup vegi meat balls and break. The hotel doesnt have a resto so u'll have to go out nearby.

Good location near Kanda station”

Location is in office zone. No big department store around. There is a shopping street from Kanda station to hotel, full of local restaurant. Room is OK for Japan standard & clean. No Wifi but Lan cable in room. Wifi is only available in lobby. Facility in room are semi double bed, LCD HD TV w/t few free channel, refrigerator. Staff is good. Breakfast is only salad, meatball, bread, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee.

Good location near plenty of eating places”

Business hotel located in a quiet part of Kanda. Staff can speak English and the train station is less than 10 minutes away. Room was relatively big considering it is Tokyo and the room had a music theme about it. The bed is on the hard side, but overall nothing to complain about. Plenty of places nearby to eat and the hotel has free copies of the train and subway network as well as some restaurant recommendations.

I just stayed there for a night. The hotel is not far from the station but trying to follow the map they provided online was a bit confusing. The rooms are nicely decorated with a music theme. The bed is confortable and the bathroom amenities are good. The TV was a bit old and there was no English or international channel. The free breakfast was a plus!

This hotel located around 5 minutes walk from Kanda Station. There are many mini mart around hotel and many restaurants around station.

5 star definitely deserving”

This was both a family vacation and business travel. I reluctantly booked the room as it only showed a double-size bed and I needed twin beds. However, they offered buffet breakfast and they were conveniently located between two subway stations with multiple transit lines and located in the financial district so it's quite at night. It was a great surprise, the vicinity is clean with many restaurants and Convin stores. Hotel entry is clutter free, clean, tidy and the staff are friendly and well dressed . The room layout worked as there was space for clothing, suitcases at the entry of the room, good size bathroom allowing you to sit on the toilet without banging your knees against the door/wall. They didn't have any roll-away-beds/cots, so we made the double-bed situation work. You also have the choice of daily room cleaning or doing an eco-friendly with limited cleaning, which is nice. My son and I will definitely stay here again and any of the Villa Fontaine Tokyo hotels.
