Modern Renovated Hotel At With Very Good Breakfast”
Hotel was next to the Christmas market and located at end of the Karl Johan Shopping Street. Need to walk about few hundred meters from the central train station. Renovation was ongoing and because of that, I got a room at very good price. My room has already been refreshed and everything looks new. Breakfast was fantastic with all the usual Norwegian spread plus waffles and assortment of cheese and fruit juices. The breakfast room is large and has been renovated. It looks very posh, and guests are allowed to sit there at any time with complimentary coffee and tea. The reception ladies are all very friendly and help with all the queries I had. Awesome hotel, and high recommended.

I was very happy when i arrived in oslo by bis early in the morning and the staff serve me very friendly. I can early check in. It was awesome because i can stretch my leg for a moment. Overall i like this hotel. The room was clean and comfort. They have so many choices for breakfast and so lecker. Breakfastroom was also so cozy. Super...

Old but Superb location ”
Old hotel that is undergoing renovation during our stay. I find the middle aged lady in the reception area annoying as she made sarcastic comments about my name. She was not helpful and made our booking sound very complicated (We had 2 separate bookings for our stay) I honestly think that she should retire from her job if she's not happy anymore instead of making other guests feel unwelcome and awkward. Luckily, the the other staff were pleasant and friendly and helped us manage our booking. Facilites badly needed renovation... ELevator had an unpleasant smell... The thing that I loved the most is the location, it has the best location in the area. Distinct smell in the lobby and hallways due to old carpet. Breakfast was great, and bathrooms were very clean Will stay in this hotel again especially after the renovation.

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel! The room was really small but it had everything it needed, it was really great to also have a breakfast included and not have to worry about finding a breakfast spot. Make-your-own waffles were a standout :)

Nice Location, everything within reach. Staff also nice and Friendly. Doesn't have Gym facilities and dining area too small and Standarised food which we get all places in Norway. Will definitely prefer, when I come back.

location is good and the exterior of building is good as well, but everything inside the room is too old: the towels, the shower head, etc.. Would not recommend to others especially compared to the other hotel we stayed of the same price level in Oslo.

Perfect Location and Friendly Staff”
The location of the hotel in Karl Johan Gate is perfect with most major attractions in the city within walking distance. Their staffs are friendly and helpful and even offer to make us sandwich in the morning as we are unable to take our buffet breakfast.

Central location”
An older hotel with real character. Very happy with our stays separated by a week. Nice helpful front desk staff. On our return given a room upgrade which we really appreciated. Lack of air conditioning may be a concern in really hot weather but did not affect us. Nice helpful front desk staff.

Limited time in Oslo”
Location is everything! The Best Western staff were also friendly and efficient. Overall a brilliant spot to rest-up in the evenings.

We were female with young children, checking in with many luggages, but the receptionist (a young blond good looking guy) did not even bother to move his feet to help us, only gave us the key of the storage to put all the luggages in, and insisted with the check in at 3pm, although it was 2.30pm. I'm sorry to tell you that you need to go elsewhere to learn what service is, or at least people on the street could help us if they see females and children with luggages, let alone people who work in services. Furthermore, the noise of the street was loud and the room was hot, we could not sleep at all.

Any booking before 17 days of arrival is not cancelable..i booked within 17days of arrival..the booking policy was not made clear to me.. So i unknowilling wasted money on best western ..

Business and pleasure”
Hotel is in an excellent location very close to Nationaltheater station, breakfast at the hotel is also really good. We booked a double room which unfortunately was very dated and lacked AC and reasonable ventilation. In short the room was small and very stuffy. Inward facing windows into the light well of the building😣. Hotel has no real resteraunt or bar area. Might stay there again but in a better appointed room! Rooms in need of a refurbishment !
