Loved it”

Located in a quiet little town called Ito. This was the perfect hotel to stay in. The public onsen was really nice, I didn't even use the private one in our room. The breakfast is great with a good selection of Japanese food.

A good place to relax near the sea after enjoying Japan. ”

We needed somewhere to relax after a busy time in the busy cities. It has a great location only 20 min by train from the nearest Shinkansen station (Atami) and a short walk from the Ito train station. This is a quiet little town with some good food, small restaurants and nice beach.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the breakfast was delicious - was impressed with the live station of freshly grilled fish and eggs! The onsen bath was also quite nice and they had private ones that you can use for free which would be great for couples! However, I was quite disappointed with the room as it was not as spacious and beautiful as pictured on Agoda.. when I gave feedback on that, I was simply told that agoda was wrong and asked to pay more if I wanted a bigger room. Also, service was a little lacking (e.g staff did not prepare futon until I came down to front desk to ask). All in all, it was still a good place to stay, but for the price paid, there are much better Ryokans around.

Modern Japanese room with hot spring”

The hotel was very clean and spacious recommended for family with young children. The only issue is that the staffs cannot really communicate in English.

It was indeed a great hotel. Breakfast was amazing . Facilities and room was new and clean. However I must have come during the off peak time as the town was dead quiet. Did not find any interesting things to do as compared to other parts of izu. Thus I wouldn't recommend you come to stay at ito unless you drive or you have soemthing to do here...

At first I booked a Japanese room but with shared bathroom so I canceled and booked modern and Japanese room with hot spring. The staff made a mistake check us in the Japanese room I was so disappointed. After he checked my booking again then we got to check in the modern and Japanese room with hot spring. We love the room so much. It's so clean and very spacious. We are 3 adults paid at SGD655 for 2 nights. Worth the money. The room is big and the modern side with 2 twin bed. The bed is comfortable, the pillows are special......With 2 side. One side smooth and soft the other side is a bit hard but comfortable. The shower area and the hot spring are together in the Japanese room area. Like it. The Japanese room with more than a futon. Quite spacious. There is a door to separate the modern & Japanese room is like there are 2 bedrooms. Quite near to the Ito station. About 5-8 mins walk. Restaurants are Nearby, 7-11 too. Good location. The staff can't speak much English. So a lot of things can't find out from them. Highly recommend the modern & Japanese room with hot spring. To get around the attractions we bought a one day bus pass at 1300¥ for all the sightseeing lines. There is another dream pass at 3900¥ by train but only one way for 3 consecutive days. Cynthia

I RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO HAVE A NICE AND RELAXING TIME👍👍👍 i booked a premier twin room for our 2years wedding anniversary and because i have a 2 babies. the premier twin room here is so nice and very clean! i LOVE their premier twin room because they have a hot spring bath and im so happy because a mother like me who has a babies can take a relaxing hot spring bath time with them privately. even though you didn't booked a premier room they still have a hot spring bath for the family in the 1st floor for you to have a bonding bath time.✨ and i really LOVED their japanese foods also! they'll serve it to you in the table and explain every details what kind of food is it. im not kidding,the foods that they served to us is soo fresh and delicious ❤️ and because of that we even ordered a nihonshu and im surprised because they have a 3kinds of best nihonshu and it served to us. my husband and i loved it and we really enjoyed staying here.thank you very much❤️

The room is big. The bed is big and clean. The room has private onsen and comfortable. When we stay at Laforet, we have a good sleep time and enjoin this night. We will recommend this hotel to our friends. Or next time we will stay this hotel again.

Super nice stay with private onsen”

Very comfortable, staff are nice and professional, enjoy bottle milk every time after onsen! Its 8mins walk from the station, it’s a bit tough when carrying luggage, would be perfect to have shuttle bus.

Clean and good, but did not meet expectations”

1. Beware that guests have to lay the futon daily themselves which is a very weird arrangement for ryokans in Japan 2. There are no shower facilities in any of the rooms at the hotel

Good hotel but lack of staffs”

It only takes 8 mins by walk from train station to the hotel and you can walk through high street to it. The room is spacious and there is tatami and hot spring in our room! However, the staffs can't really speak English and not really helpful... We already stayed in premium room and I asked for a birthday greeting for one of our friends who is birthday when we stay there. But the receptionist can't understand my request. At night, we asked for ice but the receptionist told us since only one receptionist there at night, he can't provide ice to us...we need to go downstairs and get it...

Amazing Stay”

We stayed in a Japanese style room that had a private onsen. The room is big and very comfortable. There is also an outdoor onsen downstairs. The staff were friendly and our check-in was easy and quick when we arrived.
