Capsule Hotel near Station ”

On our 3rd and 4th night, we transferred to a hotel in Kanda. Because as I was researching for a place to stay near Akihabara, this was what I got. What I Love Here * Super love the location - very close to the train station, there are many restaurants and convenience stores outside. * WiFi connection is great * The privacy that we had in our room. * The toilet is amazing * They provide sleeping clothes * They change the towels daily * The staff can speak English What I Hope Can Change * The locker is so small especially if you have big luggage * The lockers are located in one place, in the 1st floor. It got super crowded when the guests are there. And other guests can see what's inside your bag since you will be opening it in front of them. I found it stressful. * You need to check out every 10AM * You cannot call when inside the sleeping pod * Got a problem charging my power bankn coz the cable is short & the power outlet is high Sleeping pod is really just for sleeping. 😊

I loved my stay here at 9hours. It’s walking distance from Kanda Station and numerous restaurants. I only stayed here for one night before heading off to my next location, but I loved the quiet atmosphere and I was able to get a good night sleep despite having a sleeping pod next to the door. The only downside is that the locker area for the WHOLE BUILDING is located on the first floor. It can easily get chaotic in the morning when everyone is packing and unpacking before the 10 AM check out time.

Interesting experience”

Liked that it was women only and they allowed us to store our baggage even after we checked out. Place was clean and well-equipped. The only hassle is if you have a big luggage then it does not fit into the locker and you’d have to store it at the front desk (but capsule hotels are best suited for light travelers anyway - was there for the experience). Short walk from Kanda station which in turn is near Tokyo station and Akihabara by train (or maybe on foot if you’re up for the walk).

Take earplugs and sleep mask. ”

The capsules were roomy and clean and the showers very nice. The hall light stays on, and loud snoring from the other capsules made sleep difficult but the bed was comfortable — so this is a decent place to stay if you take a mask to block the light and earplugs for the snoring. It’s pricey for a capsule hotel though.

Great facility and location ”

Perfect for young solo travellers. But for people such as light sleepers, it might not be the place. Noises around from other people and door open-close will be an issue. Otherwise it’s really great.

Interesting experience ”

This was my first stay in a capsule hotel, and overall it was a nice experience. The pod is modern and clean (I'm sensitive to dust and the pod didn't make me sneeze). It was winter so the room was warm at night, too warm for me actually, but luckily I was so tired from walking every day that I had no problem sleeping. The shower room is well equipped, although I do hope they will change the soap as it smells bad to me. I tried their bath (there's only 1) once and it was great. The only downside of staying in a capsule hotel is that it's really hard to pack your big luggage. The locker is pretty small, it will only fit my cabin luggage and I can stack my purchases there for 4 nights before packing for home on the last night. The location is great though, we only need to walk 3 mins from Kanda's station East Exit and there's a Family Mart nearby.

Affordable yet Comfortable Stay near Akihabara”

Japan always amazing especially for tidy and clean matters. This small capsule hotel is really comfortable, safe and only steps away from Kanda Station. We have a very good stay here and recommend this place for anyone seeking budget yet comfortable place.

Perfect capsule hotel for solo travellers”

The rooms were really quiet. Bring a USB fan. Make sure it's not noisy as it's really quiet. It's stuffy in the capsule so the USB fan makes all the difference. Easy to find. Jr east exit. Would be great if there were some skin moisturizer in the toilet. Showers were great. Bed really comfortable. Pillow was ok for me.

A good capsule experience. Located within a short walking distance from Kanda station and there are plenty of food outlets nearby. The locker is rather small though. so it is not really suitable if you are on a shopping trip and have many luggage. More suitable for light travelers.

Good service from staff”

Staff is able to speak chinese so it makes everything easier. Hotel was near to the station however there is not much shopping there as mostly is food. There is a toilet at every level but shower cubicles is very little. There is only 4 make up table and the girls hoarding the place took literally one hour to do their make up so that is a downside. Nonetheless, a good 2 night experience. One suggestion though, I hope you can separate our clothes and shoes locker ...

Nice clean & weird. ”

There is no common room or kitchen. You check in (if your bag is too big then it stays at the front desk) you have a locker for all your things, you are given slippers, toothbrush, towel, pjs, you take a shower and go to the pod to sleep. That's it!

near to kanda station ”

it is very near to station but it is a bit not so convenient coz the luggage locker is located in 2nd floor and the bathroom is located in 3rd floor and our bedroom is located in 4th floor.

Sangat dekat ke stasiun!”

Lokasi nya sangat strategis! Dekat ke stasiun Kanda, dekat dengan Lawson&Family mart juga dekat dengan resto. Kamar dan fasilitasnya sangat bersih dan baru. Staff nya ramah dan sopan. Tapi beberapa tamu membongkar koper nya di dalam kamar, jadi agak berisik.. bukan kesalahan hotelnya.. karena sudah ada tulisan be quiet

Perfect location. Explanation can be clearer”

Great location and very comfy! However, instructions could be clearer on how to settle in. One has to go through the lockers on the first floor before heading to the dorms on different floors. I didn't know that and was expecting lockers on the same floor as the beds so there's a little hiccups. Big luggage won't fit into the lockers so it'll have to be placed outside too.

I was travelling with my 2 teenager daughters. This was our very first time to stay in the capsule hotel and we were so impressed like WOW! The water pillar concept in the shower is one of a kind and the sophisticated toilet is awesome! And of course, the pajamas provided that we MUST wear is uniquely cool..we miss the pajamas! Location wise - EXCELLENT!

Very near station”

The hotel is very close Kanda station. There is a pajamas, towel, slippers, toothbrush set. Staff is kindly. Locker will use by bar-code system. But if you got the room at upper side, you must be careful your feet when you climb up because the step very small.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Nine Hours Women Kanda The pod surprisingly large enough for me, the amenities was great and even they gave pyjamas The cons only locker room located in ground floor and for me its a bit hectic when I forgot my things and I should go downstair again. But they had elevator so dont worry

Great location but a couple things to take note”

The location is fantastic, right by the Kanda train station. Clean and has a cool design. However, it was a little inconvenient to have to sleep, shower, and keep my luggage on all different floors, with only one elevator (no stairs). The locker area also gets crowded, especially during check out. Be aware no eating or food allowed inside the hostel.

Everything is cool and modern”

I stayed here for 3 nights.. At first i felt inconvenient bcoz the locker room is quite small and could be crowded sometimes.. And only 1 USB port provided at each sleeping pod whereby i had 3 devices to charge everyday (phone, camera, and pocket wifi) .. However starting from 2nd day i started to feel ease and managed to settle my stuff properly.. So, no more problem arise.. Plus, this hotel is really near to the train station! And woman only! Which makes me feel so happy and comfortable as a solo traveller.

Pro : located steps away from Kanda Sta North exit - lots of foods next doors - Cheap Price for the location - Give amenities you need (even the warm pajamas) - Clean Cons - there might be some light every time someone comes in the door cause the capsule is only covered by lightscreen Overall its a good experience for us since we didnt wxpect was much of a capsules If you arrive late at night and have pack itinerary this definitely worth it
