Quiet resort near the heart of Alona's action. ”

Our double deluxe room was large and clean with hot water, aircon, ceiling fan, fridge, wifi, and lots of cable channels on the tv. The resort is quiet and set back from the main road but close to all the action. The rooms are clean and spacious with all the usual amenities although a bit dated.. We paid P1400 per night,lower than most resorts in the area. Highly recommended.

Quiet little resort in the heart of Alona Beach”

Great location, quiet, and reasonable prices. The Deluxe double rooms are big and clean, although a bit dsted, with the usual amenities, hot water, aircon, ceiling fan, fridge, and lots of cable channels on the TV. The resort is located directly across from Alona Beach Road, but the rooms are set back from the street so they are quiet. There is a courtyard with plenty of chairs and tables. Highly recommended.

Great Location! This resort is just 3 mins away from the famous Alona beach, 10 mins from airport via private van and near to different convenience store & agencies (I also recommend My suitcase Travel & Tours beside Dunkin donuts w/c is just beside this resort because they offer cheap payment for joiners). Also, the Mcdonalds is already under construction infront of the resort. The staff are also doing their best to meet our expectations.

Perfect location - super budget!”

On off-peak days, Paragayo is super cheap and super worth it. Some rooms have weak AC but they've managed to add an extra fan. Not for you if the street noise bother you, but overall, it's super worth it with the price. 2nd time booking and wouldn't mind coming back, I just hope they'd provide free drinking water really. Hope the manager get to read this. But as always, thanks for a greaaaat stay!

Our room size was exactly what we wanted. The only problem we encountered was the water heater and that the room was near the road - we can hear the band playing all the way up to 1:00 AM. But we would like to commend the hotel staff, they were very courteous and helpful. They were the ones who made the difference in Paragayo - kudos!

Nice budget hotel, cleand and pretty close to the beach. Beside the hotel, a lot of restaurants (including McDonalds or Dunkin Donut). The best thing is the hotel staff, front desk helped me with an issue. They were proactive and always ready to help. Thanks to the hotel staff!

Convenient location”

The place is along the road with dunkin donuts on the side and soon to rise McDo infront. It is 5 mins walk to Alona beach and restaurants are everywhere. Need cash, BPI is 1 min walk. Staff were friendly and accommodating especially when we had some issues with the airconditioning which they immediately fixed. The only downside being in a central location is the loud music from a bar I think. But other than that everything was great.

The location is fantastic!! It’s about five mins walking to the Alona beach. And lots of restaurants and convenient shops nearby let along bars. There’s also a Donut shop just next to the resort. You guys should try the ice choco there. However, the air conditioner is noisy when you turn it to 10. You’d better keep it under 4 to avoid the lousiness. And they don’t have hair drier( troublesome for girls..) the showering water is salty which means I need to buy clean water everyday for drinking brushing and washing my face. Overall it’s worthy.

It's really nice here, accommodating and helpful staff, but the only problem is when I booked single beds. some rooms are not available for that. just the queen size bed. the students don't want to sleep beside with other person.

Great location & a great value. My room was comfortable & clean. They seem to keep the room & the grounds very clean. You save money, but don't expect free toothbrushes, shampoo, or even bottled water in the rooms. The worst thing is the WiFi & only is available in the lobby. My room did have a tv, which I never used. You are in easy walking distance to Alona Beach & many fine places to eat. I feel this is a real find for the money.

Bed bugs”

The first night was kind of a disappointment. There were bed bugs on both beds. The room was outdated (note: box TV) and the water pressure was low. On the next day, the staff moved us to a different room without much discussion or fuss. The second room was alright and still a bit outdated. You basically get what you pay for. One good thing is that this resort is a few min walk away from the beach and restaurants.

Best location”

Pros: location is very good. Near restaurants and is a 5-minute walk to the beach. Room is also very clean. Cons: some basic amenities are lacking. Only had handsoap in the room. No free bottled water but has service water near the common CR.

Value for money”

Pros: clean and big rooms, we stayed in the family rooms and there four of us. Location is 5mins walk to the beach. Has hot and cold shower, makes up the room daily. Cons: Our rooms were near the road and so there were bars near us that just keeps playing until midnight. The walls are thin also so we can hear the guests on the other rooms. I’d recommend it to guests who will stay just for a night or two. There were many restaurants outside so there’s plenty of choices to choose from for breakfast. The rooms we got is cheap compared to the other resorts in Bohol which I think is overpriced so I’d still consider Paragayo resort as value for money as everything works but just not great.

Perfect for budget but can do better”

If you can provide free drinking water for the guests, that would be most appreciated (kind of hassle to buy expensive bottled water around Alona). Love the location since the beach is so close but might not be for people who prefer peace and quiet since this is along highway (can hear karaoke/music all night). The rooms are kept clean, thanks to the housekeeping / aircon works perfect/ there's a fridge! Maybe provide guests with a kettle for hot water/ coffee cups too? They sell the cheapest beer btw. Despite some of the inconvenience experienced, I would love to stay here again. The staff were polite, courteous :) Thanks for a comfortable stay.

Look this is not the Ritz - its charming, basic but adequate and let’s face it for this type of holiday you want something in a great position, which it is and at a good price, which it is, so you can’t complain. We use it regularly and we can’t say more that that really. Thanks the Paragayo.
