Perfect location for holiday. Peaceful.clean and tidy. Especially. Owner of the hotel. Because we need early check out. She prepared 2 piece of sandwichs for us. However.During the period we stay， Swimming pool Without Enough water.

The hotel and staff was great. food was good, pool was beautiful and the rooms were really nice, value for the money. went on a dive and that was a great experience. everything was handled professionally.

Relaxing plus value for money Hotel in Bohol”

We had the whole resort for the whole of our stay which makes it quiet and relaxing. Lovely owner Ined personally handles all our needs and even bring us to the port. Food is excellent, best food we had in Bohol. They served using high end utencil, comparable to 5-star hotel. Fit for family, with two separate rooms so we have privacy from our kids. Cold aircon, strong water with hot and cold plus it is equipped with bath tub. We will be back and will bring our extended families.

Can't say enough about this place. It's owned by an English family and they are so nice and helpful to all your needs. Go out of there way to make sure your stay in Bohol is a pleasant and relaxing one. Highly recommended

Secluded location and relaxing”

Sherwood is located away from the white sandy beaches and has a nice swimming pool. It is also quieter than other resorts. They provide lots of services to take you to the beaches and diving. We did diving, dolphin watching, chocolate hills, tarsier watching. Good experience overall.

Spacious rooms and beautiful surroundings”

This had been one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a long time. It's far from everything else but its manageable. I actually like how it is secluded from everything else. It feels like having your own piece of paradise for yourself. The rooms are very big and 4 of us actually slept in the beds and it didn't feel cramped. The room is clean and I liked that the rough floor wouldn't make you slip after you take a bath and walk barefoot. Lisa, her mom, and the staff are wonderful hosts too. I'll be sure to come back here if I go Bohol.

Recycled coffee”

Owner of the resorts was pretty cheap. They’re serving a recycled coffee for breakfast. Coffee tasted like water. They will give you good service if you’re a foreigner. If you’re local they’ll give you a recycled food. They will give you a WiFi access for 10-15 mins a day only. My family paid for 3 nights and checked out after 2 nights due to bad services. They will give you WiFi access at the end of your stay. We wasted money at this resort. I will not recommend this resort to everyone.

A Serene Vacation”

Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay at Sherwood. The owner is really kind and accommodating. Same as the staff. The room is clean and big. The place is huge also and the view from the pool is fantastic! I will surely come back there on our next visit in Bohol.

Staff and food are great.”

While it was disappointing to find out right then and there that the pool was closed, the room and food were great. The owners were apologetic about the pool since they have it renovated. It was good if Agoda cautions guests that pool is not available during this time. The room are large and the owners are accommodating to our requests. They even offered for a free roundtrip transfer to Alona beach during the day. Road from the highway is rough but it was worth it (sans swimming pool). The place is quiet and peaceful.

Can i give 10 star for this resort? Anyways, the resort is very peaceful, you can relax and rest in here, the room ia perfect! Big size rooms and its very clean. I love the food. Our korean friend love the kangkong ang pizza. The owner is so accommodating. My husband doesn't want to go back our house after we stayed here. Hopefully they can extend the wifi to all rooms, thats the only concern.

when i see the picture on the website it seems like a niece hotel, but when we reach there place is very far from the nice beaches. this place is only recommended to those divers. we cannot even swim. The owner is good but the policy is very bad. we cant cook anything. if we want to cook we have to pay extra money. i wont recommend this place. for divers OK.

Weekend Relax, wonderful stay, fantastic view”

The location has distance to the beach side, but really a quite and relax place, hospitality, nice food...... especially big yard and fantastic view to the sea, you can watch sun set in the pool and stars on your head! convinient for water sport!

Good Rooms and Great Staff but found wanting...”

The rooms were big and well-appointed, the staff were great and the view was great. But the place was a little rundown and the garden needed upkeep and more trees. We went for a diving course and snorkeling but everything was haphazardly arranged and the equipment was old and needed upgrading (I.e. masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits). We did get our certification though. The food was good but it took too long to come out. The reasons for this problem may be an insufficient number of staff. All in all we were satisfied but most probably not coming back.

Quiet Paradise”

Love the view, the food was surprisingly delish, perfect for groups who want to avoid the crowd. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We were given big rooms. Spent New Years there and saw fireworks from the cliff. 3 nights and 4 nights enough. Arrived at airport around 8 am first day then did the bohol tour for the whole day then straight to hotel. Next day we did the balicasag tour and corals were amazing, saw lots of star fish and other marine life while snorkeling. Rested the 3rd day. We were lucky it did not rain during our trip

Great value for money! ”

My stay was very good. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The seaview as well as the pool was superb and the room was spacious. Although the location was not very close to town, it's a definitely worth to stay here, especially for those who want a relaxing & peaceful holiday.

A little isolated”

we were met at the airport and transported to the hotel free of charge.The hotel is located in a lovely spot with a beautiful view.The owners do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.The only negative from our point of view was the isolation but others may like that

Great stay”

We had a great quick stay at the Sherwood. The staff made us welcome and the room was well appointed and comfortable. The mini bar was a revelation with reasonable prices which was a pleasant change.. The views across the bay and having the choice of pool or sea was great as it was a hot weekend and we needed to cool off. The pool is lovely, and the sea was warm and so clear, just delightful.

We enjoyed our stay there very much,so peaceful and quiet.Offers large rooms with balcony,built in swimming pool , looks out over the ocean and the owners were very nice and accomadating.Would stay there again .
