My stay at Hotel Sydney CBD has been the most accommodating and hospitable hotel experiences I have encountered. The cleanliness and design of the rooms is flawless and very luxurious. The beds are comfortable and all of the decor is modern and aesthetically impressive. Furthermore, the rooms are perfect size. When it comes to the staff, everyone from the cleaners to the manager offer a direct, friendly, and authentic experience with them that is humbling and leaves you feeling a warmth in the hotel's atmosphere. My stay was most comfortable and enjoyable and I would rate Sydney Hotel CBD on par with what I would expect in the rooms and from big chain hotels like The Hilton; Rydges; and the Hyatt. Actually, I have stayed at those hotels in the past and the staff treat you like a number in a room. Whereas, at Sydney Hotel CBD, you feel appreciated and welcome everyday. You are a person and guest, not a number in a room. Whenever I am in Sydney, I will stay at Sydney Hotel CBD as it is an experience I will never forget and like to return to. What a gem - best value I have ever had.”
I needed a centrally located bed for one night. YEHS provided that and more. Very convenient parking behind at Meriton apartments. Very clean and tidy room, with bed options - I had a queen size. Bathroom with good sized shower I didn't need a ladder to get in to (dodgy knee). Lovely, friendly staff, Leon on the front desk was efficient, friendly and welcoming. Manager Alejandro took the time to say hello and confirm my satisfaction with my stay. I would thoroughly recommend a quiet, convenient, central, clean and friendly alternative to the bigger chain hotels where you are only a room number.

Amazing and friendly service”
I was beyond impressed with the room considering what I was paying for said room and the amazing location of the hotel. While yes, the room is smaller, you do not miss the space and the amenities and comfort make up for anything you think you are lacking (which is honestly nothing). That paired with WONDERFUL & GENUINE service that you rarely get these days made this stay lovely and will now become my go to for little city sleep overs/work stays. 10/10 recommend.

Stay here was excellent. Location was superb with many restaurants nearby. The hotel is diagonally located next to World Square and near to Town Hall station. Staff are very warm and friendly and always give service wth a smile. The hotel is very good value for money for its location. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped for the price you boat.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. General Manager is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Always a great sleep every night. Superb location! One night we accidentally left our keys after hours, dailed the emergency number posted in front desk and the service response from the staff was very quick. Will definitely stay again. Definately a bargin for what you pay for. It is in the centre of Sydney, easy walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go to. The facilities were basic, but very clean and tidy, but in saying this it is quiet clearly pictured what they are, so it was exactly as expected. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Very Happy and would definately stay there again. Thank You

Excellent value and great location ”
Staff at reception were incredibly helpful and informative. Room was cosy and clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom small but stylish. Not the quietest part of town but not so loud as to keep you awake and of course the location was great for food and facilities. Really good value.

Central Location - Great Value”
Excellent value for money. Rooms were. clean and the linen was good quality. Bathroom was larger than expected with great shower and water pressure. Walking distance to everything. If using the shuttle book earlier time than required to accommodate for the traffic. Staff very helpful and polite. Will stay again when in Sydney.

The hotel is located very close to George Street. Walking distance to Town Hall and Chinatown. When you go outside, there are so much choices of restaurants and shops you can go to. Right beside the hotel is a convenience store which is open until late at night where you can buy food and stuff if you feel hungry in the wee hours of the morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. One of their front desk staff, Pear, helped me with my late check out and storage of my baggage. The hotel room was a bit small for a couple but since I was just traveling solo, this wasn't a problem for me at all. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean and had a decent shower. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Will definitely recommend to friends. Will surely stay here again when I return to Sydney.

I think the room seems a little bit small but that’s ok due to its perfect location and its cheap price. By the way, we always heard about a little noise (maybe from the air conditioner machine) outside the room, if the hotel could check it will be more better. Besides that, everything is good and thanks to the very patient and kind staffs. Clean room, Convenient location and suitable price. My friend and I have very nice experience during our holiday here.

Arrived and easy check in, no hassle. A pleasent stay for me in a single room with connected bathroom. A little concern on the bathroom warning regarding the hot steam could trigger the alarm, but all good. Not only that, I was visiting when Sydney had a smokey/hazy day due to the forest burning. The alarm did not accidentally triggered which is good. Hope Sydney recovers soon. Would recommend for singles who are looking for a short stay near central.

Fantastic location and helpful staff”
The hotel is located in the centre of the CBD and is just a few minutes walk from Town Hall station if you come in by plane/train. Everything in the city is within walking distance and so convenient. The room is neat and functional with a level of amenity that you would expect for this price range. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly with everything that we needed. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect location and excellent service!”
Stayed here for 2 nights with friends for an event at ICC (a short 7min walk) and had a very pleasant stay! We booked a family room so space was somewhat limited but not so much that it was impossible to navigate. The twin beds and double bed in separate rooms is a nice touch! My only deal breaker was the tiny bathroom though that can't really be helped for a room of this size. I also stayed on a Friday night when the bar down the road had live music playing until almost midnight which hindered my sleeping a bit, but of course the hotel isn't to blame for this. It was much quieter on Saturday night though! The top selling points for this hotel are its location and the friendly staff. It's close to Town Hall, World Square and Darling Harbour where we attended our event. Staff were also super helpful and quick to service - the hair dryer in our room wasn't working and they had someone deliver a replacement just minutes after we called reception. Overall, we'd love to stay here again!

Stay a night at the hotel ”
The place is reasonably priced and in a good location in Sydney city Centre. Walking distance to train station from or to airport and anywhere else and close to Tram stop. Staff Hanny is very lovely and friendly she allows us to check in early with no hassle. Highly recommended for someone looking for affordable price hotel in city centre.
