Fantastic ”

I had a wonderful stay in (the b hotel akasaka) . Staffs was great, helpful, knowledgeable and the most quests wanted is: friendliness of all the staffs that will make guests feel comfortable and welcome to stay. Front desk staffs and the house keeping staffs, are all friendly. Oh yes, the laundry coin machine is really great to have it at the b hotel akasaka.

Pleasant stay”

I stayed here for 15 days in June/ July 19, and enjoyed. The room was nice and clean, view was great from the 6th floor, and the staff always friendly.

Defenite bang for your buck”

Our stay at The b akasaka hotel was definitely a good one. It was situated in a nice quiet area but was a simple downhill walk to anything we needed. The subway was close so getting around was never an issue. The staff was great. The rooms were small, but we already new that coming in. And even though the rooms were small it was spacious enough for two people. I feel that we got a lot of value for what we paid and would definitely recommend staying here.

Snall room but comfortable and adquate”

Very comfotable stay. Its as little out of the way for tourist but I was there on a business trip and the proximity to the offices in the Akasaka area is a plus. There are many choices of good inexpensive resutaurants just a short walk away. The room I stayed in is small but that is to be expected in Tokyo. It represents the best in use of limited space. The room had everything i needed. One tip, you can fold up your bed up against the wall so that you have more space for your end of trip packing.

clean and friendly - no complaints. hotel was in a good location and provided good facilities. easy to book and generally no issues. small rooms but that is to be expected in japan. good over all choice for a trip to the area. recommended overall.

A little hard to find but in a nice, quiet area”

I have stayed at both the b akasaka and b roppongi and find the b akasaka to be the nicer and better maintained of the two. B akasaka is up the hill from Akasaka station, a little hard to find the first time, but very conveniently located. There is an international ATM across the street and a nice italian restaurant downstairs. Overall, a decent place in Tokyo for those on a budget and don't mind a small room. Perhaps one step up from the Villa Fontaine hotel chain.

Comfortable and Quiet”

I'd recommend the b-Akasaka to anyone who wants to be in the midst of it all, but too close that you can't get a good night's sleep. I did have a little trouble finding the place, as the directions are a bit misleading. I should state that if you take exit 3a/3b from Akasaka station, go up the escalator, turn right, up another escalator to the street level and then turn right. Walk up the first street on your right, it will ascend a little, curve around to the left. Follow it until it comes to a T and the hotel is right there. The coffee and internet were a godsend. It's real coffee, so it hits the spot nicely after a hard night of drinking. The shower is one of those see-through ones, which I find sexy, though you may want to finish your major business before you invite guests. Unfortunately, for the international traveler who wants to chill in the room, CNN (the only English channel) is almost completely dubbed into Japanese. They do have a LAN cable, but I didn't have my computer to try it out. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all the questions about travel and money changers. All in all a comfortable stay.

Nice”

The room is small but clean enough. It will be nice if there are free bottled water provided. However, you can still enjoy free coffee at lobby. Location is fine. There are convenient stores and supermarkets nearby. Very close to Akasaka station, and only need 10 minutes walk to Akasaka mitsuke station.

A bit of a walk to the station, in a very quiet office and residential area. Very little to do in the immediate area. Very clean, comfortable hotel, great high tech shower (no bath). There was a mini coin laundry, which was useful (there is a laundry service, but not Sundays or national holidays). I like the b Hotels in general.

Great staff and hotel. Room was small, but very well designed. Only downside is you have to love a rock-hard bed.

Good size room with two leg single beds, shower not in a bath which I was looking for, only issue I had, for me the mattress was too hard, apart from that staff lovely, air con, laundry, drink vendor machines where ever you look, highly recommend, wish I could have stayed longer

Expect a different corporate culture”

Not a bad hotel at all however do not expect the normal Japanese customs or courtesies at this hotel chain. The staff was not necessarily combative but they not all are Japanese nationals and while they speak Japanese, they are coming from another Asian country where the customer is not treated the same as you would expect from a Japanese hospitality group. I have stayed at the B many times and at a few of their other locations, the staff is the same so the management style top-down is different than what one might expect. Good value for basic accomodations though.

Superb neighborhood with very reasonable price”

I enjoyed the tranquility and convenience the location of the b akasaka has to offer. Close to neighborhoods of aoyama, roppongi, easy access to shibuya, daikanyama, naka-meguro. The room was compact and thoughtfully equipped for travelers. Very clean, organized and the staff was very friendly.

Walking distance to downtown akasaka and 10min walk to Roppongi hill. Few station to shinjuku station. It's situated in a quiet residential area on the hillside. Great location & great value. Safe to walk around at night.

Great location only around 5-10mins walk from the station, only problem is the long stair walk, might be a bit trouble when with luggage. The service is great, first they all speak English, staff are friendly and helpful. And the place is clean and also larger than I thought. Anyway, I had a good time. :D

Nice surrounding”

This is the second time i stayed at this hotel. Love the surrounding because it's not too noisy and surrounded by supermarkets and 24 hour restaurants. Love the environment and the location is really close with the MRT.

There was only one English speaker, but that was more than we encountered in most of Tokyo. We were told that many Japanese study the English language in school but don't practice speaking, so be prepared for that in general. This hotel is close to the subway, which is helpful. The room was small but adequate and functional.

Just left hotel ...”

Staff was welcoming & professional. Hotel was conveniently located to subway stop & quiet except for outside construction. Room was very small but functional & bed actually very comfortable. Cleaning crew kept the hotel exceptionally clean. I would stay again without hesitation - in fact, I look forward to returning in December & now understand the neighborhood better. This hotel was more enjoyable to me because of all the points above than was a much more expensive hotel during my earlier stay in Yokohama. Only negative was the breakfast, hostess was friendly but the menu just not good. I only ate there once during my stay. Breakfast needs improvement, not more, just better. Overall, loved the stay! Thank you.
