Svolvær THON”
Felt like a 5 star hotel. The fragrance when we walked in was beautiful, as was the entrance. Hopped off the Hurtigruten and it was literally right there. Spectacular views from the 10th floor of the town square. Breakfast was the best, yummy coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. Reception was helpful with directions etc. We stayed over a weekend, pls keep in mind that most shops apart from convenience stores are closed on Sunday’s. We did not know this before our arrival. The hotel kept our luggage until our flight later that afternoon and called a taxi for us. Great hotel and great service. Thx Thon

Hotel literally beside the svolvaer Hurtigruten's port - room is spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast served is also amazing

If you arrive by Hurtiguten cruise, this hotel is almost next to where it docks, very convenient. The service at the reception was very friendly and helpful when we enquired about the bus for the next day, they even printed out the schedule for us. Despite having their own restaurant, which is very good, the staff was generous to recommend other options and even showed us how to get there. The room was very clean, comfortable and functional. Remember to insert your card key to lock the room when you go out since the door does not lock automatically. I loved the breakfast! The spread was good, with freshly squeezed orange juice, nespresso, good tea selection, pancakes with fish roe, salmon (smoked and grilled), cook-to-order egg station, jars of homemade jam of various berries and fruits, even live piano performance! What an enjoyable way to start the day. Dinner service was very good too. I would stay here again.
