A quick post Valentine getaway”
We make use of this weekend to explore Lingayen and attend the baby dedication. It was a blessing in disguise that the venue for the dedication is fully booked so we opted to stay in El Puerto Marina Beach Resort. We arrived early and we had time to roam around. There were several construction going on but it wasn’t an eye sore. The staffs were very accommodating to our needs and the guard gave us helpful tips on our way around the Capitol. The room Is quite small but we didn’t mind for we will only use it to rest and keep our belongings but we hope there was a personal fridge and water heater which is a basic appliance in most hotel rooms. We had lunch at their restaurant and I must say that the serving was generous so as the breakfast the next day. The room rate also comes with an entrance ticket to Aquatica Manila but the resort also comes with their in-house pool and beaxh front. It was an enjoyable weekend for us.

good for family outing”
Our room is good for 8 people. The space is ok especially for young kids. The only problem with the room is the toilet because the drain is not good. Water accumulates on the floor making the area wet. Doormats were not provided until we asked for them. The place is a bit difficult to find but there are signages everywhere. The staff are very polite but service in the restaurant takes a long time serving our breakfast. The Aqua Park is very suitable for kids to enjoy. However, the wave pool has limited time (only 30min) and do not operate until 11am. This is too short for kids to enjoy. Water in the wave pool is also dirty. It needs to be drained everyday. The beach is a few meters walk. Do not expect fine white sand. But the beach is a nice area to observe sunrise. The infinity pool is nice. There are on-going constructions in the area but they did not seem to bother us.

It was overall really good. It's a good place to stay if you want a relaxing environment with friends or family. On Saturday night they have an acoustic singer who has a great voice, and he plays the best acoustic songs as well. Aside from a lovely pool where you can chill and relax, this resort is located near an empty gray sand beach. My only complaint about this hotel is their shower water had a rusty smell to it, and sometimes their drinking water had a salty taste to it. Overall, very good. I would come back here if I needed time off from the big city.

the bungalow was cool.”
i was very upset when i got there bc your google map address had two locations, it was dark and scary before we got to the hotel. you need more signs before you actually are close to the hotel. we got lost and went in circles in bad scary traffic because there are no address numbers for the address and we had to ask half a dozen people where it was. why would i have to do that? the resort needs to provide better google maps directions, one location, not two in two different places. it was very confusing and up setting.

This is nice resort, friendly staff, we just wish that the water park was open before we booked, for the price, it’s a bit pricey, but rooms ok, BR ok, they need to fix the flooring, water accumulates by the BR door. I would recommend staying here.

Not my typical resort hotel”
I booked more than 2 months in advance for a small family room for 4days, 3nights. When we arrived we were given a big family room for 8, said it was free upgrade. But we will be transferring to our original room booking the next day. It was a hassle for us for we will be packing our things again for transfer. In the room, no towels were provided but soon arrived after I requested, were old but smelled clean. The bathroom has no countertop to where we can place our toiletries, so they were placed on the bathroom floor. No glasses you can use when brushing your teeth. Cable TV is not digital so it was snowy and not very clear. The following day, we went out for the 100 island tour. So our things were transferred to a small family room. It is Just the same as the big family room except now our TV is CRT, not flat like in the big family room although both are snowy and unclear. There is no intercom in the room. You have to go out of the room to make requests. The worst I dont like is the shower. The shower head releases so pressurised water almost needlelike, it hurts your face. Water tastes salty. Food is just ok and less expensive. I dont like the breakfast. There were not many choices. Small serving for its price. I liked their Aquatica Marina. Our kids enjoyed it. We did not swim in the beach, waves are strong but it was clear but greyish. Sand is like sand dunes, very fine.

Family Outing Before Visiting Our Dearly Departed ”
We booked a Small Family Room at this hotel a day before visiting our dearly departed during All Saints Day. The "small" family room (for 5) was indeed small - 3 single beds and a double deck bed cramped into a tiny room. The analogue TV, although with digital channels was very snowy. The room has a bathroom with hot and cold shower with soap and shampoo, but the towels were worn out. The air conditioning though was sufficient. The free breakfast was very, very austere. What was disappointing was the Aquatica Marina Water Park. The Wave Pool was not working (probably for quite some time because the water was murky). The Raging River must have seen better days as the floor of the pool was muddy. The 4 Water Slides were working, but the tube rental was prohibitive. Only the Kiddie Pools were functioning and clean. We wanted to go to the beach, but the trail to the beach was flooded so there was no way to go there (no beach activities). The hotel has its own swimming pool but it was closed. I tried the Spa but there was only one male attendant on duty and already booked. It was a Saturday and I asked the front desk if there was any activity at the restaurant, but they did not know if the singer/s were arriving.

Place is still under maintenance. Food is kinda expensive. Water in the cr of their kubo room is color yellow. El puerto has only 1 pool, that's why their giving a ticket pass to aquatica marina plus the beach is kinda far that you need to pass in a highway to go to the beach.

Great value nice pool and ice cold AC”
We were pleased to stay in a nice family room with hot water shower ice cold quiet AC and a Safe box. The hotel swimming pools were great with one side for kids and other for adults. They have a water park but you only get a pass for 1 day and you need to pay for your kids.

It’s more fun in Lingayen”
Hopefully when the construction are finish the whole outside area are free of trash specially the beach area..You should put some trash can along the boardwalk where they can put their trash,recycling bin etc..That will definitely be a tourist destination when you keep it clean..See you in the future..

Very Misleading”
It was disappointing since we are expecting that when you checked-in with their hotel, you will have free access to their Aqua Marina Resort. The staff was polite. At first, they won't entertain our request of using their free pool since it was past the open hours yet after knowing that after a long travel they gave in to our request. We do hope that they have clear promotion/ads next time because they include Aqua Marina in their amenities and it is very disappointing and misleading.

SHORT ESCAPE @ EL PUERTO”
We are there for a National School Press Conference where my son joined. The resort is so nice, very province life and my son enjoyed fishing beside the restaurant. Staff were very helpful to us. The fishing experience really make our stay exceptional. Plus the slide and wave pool is superb. We love it there.

There is no deposit. The wedding reception was opened when I arrived at a hotel. Handlet island is a hotel taxi and is PHP2,750 (with a tour conductor). The charge of plus PHP3,000 occurs with a driver. Also twice, she did the spa (1H) and was satisfied with stay for two days. It is Tricycle and is PHP100 up to a victory liner terminal.Toward morning, the cry of a poultry farm is annoying.

Bungalo near beach is not, Hole in floor for bugs to enter and bird nest in shower. I was MAD after 5 hours on bus, little to eat and hot. nearly checked out. Paid 250 USD to upgade to suite near beach. A water park was under construction, which will also block view of beach. Food was just that and really needs improvement. Otherwise you take tricycle into town and eat at Chow King or Jolly Bee both chicken places. We went to grogcery and made food in suite. Banged my leggs on bed frame 6 times. queen mattress on king frame. But the staff were super, helpful, polite and attentive.
