A very isolated position so book dinner three days in advance or be prepared to drive a distance!”
An old-fashioned hotel with delightful front office lady. You have to reserve dinner at least three days in advance and there is nowhere else around to eat so we ended up driving half an hour each way to a convenience store and got food to have in our room. We were told wi fi not good because of mountains but worked well, so it could be weather dependent. No mobile phone signal. This lovely receptionist spoke enough English to communicate well with us.

Doesn't worth the coast, pass...”
All is in the title... For the quarter of the price I had better experiences ! The only microwave available was dirty as if something had exploded inside, no coffee nor tea bags in the rooms as all hotels (and even hostels do), and highly pricy for the quality of the service. For the quarter of the price I said I had free buffet for breakfast, clean facilities, onsen/sento spa available for free access , microwaveSss and laundry service available and more... So I won't recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms, nice surroundings, but the food is really of no quality at all. And the staff, friendly in an 'unworldly' way, isn't even aware of what they offer their guests. For those who want to spent time in the beautiful nature of northern Okinawa, it's a perfect place. But just pay for a bed, not for their 'cuisine'.

The staff were lovely - room was nice an big. Breakfast and dinner were very Japanese with no western alternatives but the food was fresh and good and they were happy to grill me my own toast. The real deal.

森の中にあるホテルで2泊しました。食事場所が他には無いので、食事付きにしました。夕食のメニューは少し変化がありました。近くには自然しかないので、ゆっくりするのは良いのかも...(笑) すぐ近くに「クイナの森」があるので、ヤンバルクイナを見に行くのもありです。

小さなこどもが一緒でもキッズメニューが無い。しかも、食事の予約をする際に、「お子様が食べないなら予約はしないですよね」という感じの言葉だったので、子どもの分も大人と同じメニューを予約した。しかし、「大人の食事を子どもにシェアする」ことも可能だということを考えさせなかった、と感じた。

夕飯美味し過ぎた”
ハンバーグ最高に美味しくて 夕飯食べにまた行きたいくらい。 洗濯機も無料で使わせていただいてありがたい事でした。 ベトナム感満載の建築物件でした。 夜中寝てると 時々ヤンバルクイナが鳴いていて ジャングル感ありました。ドアなどはミシミシ感あるので静かに開け閉め 夜中にトイレいくときも抜き足差し足で 静かに行きましょうっていう感じでした。 スタッフの皆様感じがよく、客層も自然好きな素朴な方々が多かった気がします。

一人でツインの部屋だったので、多少高くついてますが、部屋に水のサービスもなく、お茶やコーヒーもなく、プラスチックのコップしかありませんでした。 アゴダで頼んだからなのか、部屋も2階の玄関の上でベランダからの景色も悪く高くついた感じがしました。 なんか色々と古く、傷が目立つ家具でした。 ただ、アジアのちょっと良いホテルの感じがして、日本じゃない感じは良かったかなと思いました。

環境に恵まれスタッフも丁寧”
夜には満点の星空を眺め、朝にはヤンバルクイナが近くを散歩したりするような森の中にありますが、道路は走り易くアクセスも容易です。 スタッフはとても親切で、部屋も過ごし易く、柔らかい綿のシーツと、選べる無印のパジャマの着心地が良く快適です。 さらに、洗濯機・乾燥機・洗剤を無料で使うことができるのは素晴らしいサービスと感じました。 食事は特別に凝ったものでは無くシンプルで優しくお腹を満たしてくれます。 近隣には食事をする場所がないので、夕食を付けておくのをお勧めしますが、そうでない方のためにインスタント食品類の自販機も充実しています。 車で5分ほどの集落に安田協同店という商店があり、そちらでお菓子類などを買ったり、とっても美味しい自家焙煎コーヒー(100円)を頂くことができるので、足を伸ばされると良いと思います。

ヤンバルクイナに会えました！”
那覇から車で２時間ちょっと。海・熱帯雨林・川・滝と自然ど真ん中。ホテルの廻りでヤンバルクイナに３度遭遇しました。安田ヶ島という無人島もすぐ近くです。辺りにはレストランもコンビニも無く、ホテルでのdinnerは美味しくお勧めですが、メニューが１種類しか無いのが残念です。
