APA Hotel Tokyo Kiba”
Far from the hustle & bustle of the main city but manageable via Metro subway (Kiba Station - Tozai Line). Value for money is good, but a little old style (they still use traditional keys for the rooms instead of key cards) nonetheless the stay is okay. There are few restaurants & cafes along the neighbourhood too that you can explore :)

Surprisingly Value for Money”
We could not take another night in the capsule hotel (USD45) so at USD54 on Agoda the upgrade was a steal. The APA Hotel Tokyo-Kiba was a 6 minutes walk from the Tokyo Kiba Hotel (capsules) at the other end of the Kiba Station. Our space went from 2 m2 to 11 m2 with our own ensuite toilet, big screen tv, fridge, desk, and comfy bed. The receptionist at the service counter was exceptional. We got room 623 which had no window but it felt 100 times better than a capsule at only USD10 more. (We later found out the normal rate was twice what we paid for and was available one night only). There was a convenience store right across the street from the hotel where we bought some groceries. I will definitely come here again.

7 min walk to Kiba station (Tokyo metro Tozai line, Tozai-sen). Domino pizza, a mart, convenience stores nearby. MUST order breakfast (great price performance, 07:00~09:15), places nearby to eat don't open early anyway. Could do better about location (many APA hotels, everywhere). Was not a not a problem for me, just about 1 transfer to many landmarks.

Good location if you like to go to Ageha”
me and my friend traveled to japan together and got separate rooms. we wanted to stay in kiba area because we had planned to go to an ageha one night and wanted to be close by. the hotel is far from the main hot spots in tokyo, so don't stay here if you plan on hanging out in the typical hot spots. but the hotel is pretty close to the subway system (10 min walk) and staff was friendly. my main problem was that the hotel seemed a bit old and it smelled like smoke. if you're sensitive to smoke, don't stay here. otherwise, good deal if you plan to go to an ageha.

Small hotel for solo traveler ”
This has gotta be the smallest hotel room that I've ever stayed in. I'm only 1.76m and it feels like i'm already third of the room size. Anyway, i guess you get what you paid for. The hotel is a very short walk from the Kiba station (exit 1); and there's plenty of food options around. All and all, it's a value stay

I was very pleased with the quality of the hotel. I did not expect the room the be big and cozy like other hotels since it is Japan. For the prize I paid, the room was very comfortable. It had pretty much everything I could ask for: TV, free wifi, fridge, amenity kits, etc. It was very easy for check-in and check-out.

Average hotel, nice staff”
the building is quite old, and there is no ramp up to the lobby only stairs! we had a smoking room and we could believe it was as it stank so much more then usual smoking rooms. there was a window but it did not open. it was also situated next to the neon sign on the side of the hotel that flickered like in a movie. having said all this the room was slightly bigger then normal (not the bathroom though), and the bedding and sheets etc were spotless. the door is rather thin and we were woken by loud cleaning ladies outside on our 'sleep in' day. did not try the breakfast. there is a lan cable in the room, but if you have mac (they are not compatible) or do not have your own laptop, you can hire a laptop for 24 hrs.

we had a great stay nice people and nice location,we went here to stay to go to disneyland it was fun and caught the train, you would need to ask to get help for what trains to catch though. nice shampoo conditioner and body wash to so you dont need to pack to much

We book the room for double bed and is really too small. It is fit for single traveler only. However, it's only 7 minutes walk to train station and having plenty choices of nice restaurants nearby the hotel.
