The hotel was very well located, with standard service. I felt disappointed that they do not offer free WiFi in the room and only in shared areas such as the lounge. I have stayed in many hotels, but this is the first hotel where you needed to pay extra to have a WiFi connection in your room. When I arrived to the hotel, there were 10-15 people queueing by the reception as their computer was down. I also didn’t expect the check in time to be so late - 4pm in this particular Marriott hotel, and apparently 3pm in other Marriott hotels. Not quite sure why this hotel had later time.

The hotel is in a lovely old building in the centre of Bristol. Great location for the docks, shopping and theatres. Very spacious room ( we were upgraded) when I peeped into the normal rooms. Will definitely recommend it.

The Marriott is an old Hotel. Room on the M floor was ok quite a large room bed was comfortable.”
I have traveled with my Brother and son. I have requested a room with connecting doors. The lady on the from desk told me that the cheep rooms didn’t have this possibly I felt quit embarrassed. Breakfast was ok lots of bacon eggs etc Few pastries . The fruit was virtually tinny bit of tinned canned fruit. I have asked the staff for some fresh fruit and I got a banana/ apple/ it was very kind of the breakfast staff to provide it.

The spa is closed on a Sunday”
I booked a room with 2 kings size beds as my family was joining me and my sister. When we checked in the receptionist told us the room did not exist and they had tried to tell Booking.com and Agoda of this but they’d not done anything. This is something I would expect the Marriott chain to resolve. We had to make do with a room with 2 double beds but decided to treat our family members with a Sunday spa day. Upon visiting on Saturday morning we were shocked to be told it did not open on Sunday. The lift had a sign stating breakfast would be busy on Sunday morning due to numbers of bookings and asked guests to be mindful of this. Guess what! That’s really not my problem get more staff to manage the situation if you can’t cope with a full hotel. It’s dark brown gloomy and has a steakhouse, no veggie sausages at breakfast..... back to the Raddison for me which is modern, has friendly staff and delights it’s customers

I booked this hotel as it was central in Bristol and had spa facilities which we wanted so we booked. Got there to find that the spa is shut down. Also had problems as I booked though Agoda and they kept disputing if I had prepaid for the room which I had. Quite disappointing really

Marriott Bristol”
The Marriott College Green in Bristol is an excellent location, there is on site parking but this is £9 per day if not booking directly. The leisure facilities are good. Worst part was the temperature of rooms, they were very cold, we did get given an extra heater when we asked though. Would definitely stay again.

Functional Hotel with a Great Location.”
I had a perfectly pleasant experience at the Marriott Bristol Royal. It's location at the bottom of Park Street made had it strategically in between Clifton and the City Centre. The staff were really friendly. They even gave me a free room upgrade which was most appreciated.

Excellent stay with all of our expectations exceeded”
Good quality room only issue window permanently closed and air conditioning. The hotel is in a very good position being at the heart of Bristol itself and provides easy walking to a range of Bristol’s attractions. Thoroughly enjoyable!

We have stayed here before and will again. This is a good hotel and the location is great. We used to live in Bristol and always stay here if we can - it is near the centre and you can easily get everywhere you need to.

5 day stay”
Having stayed in Bristol many times at a number of hotels, this would rank as about average. Drinks & food were over priced & there was a terrible smell all along the 2nd floor corridor. They had a problem with hot water on our first night, but made us aware of this at check-in & offered either a complimentary night or stay at another hotel. Having selected the complimentary stay, this also meant our room was cold, which they didn't tell us would be the case. We also had an issue on New Years Eve in the bar, when our order was taken, but was forgotten, as a couple who came in about 10 minutes after us received their drinks before us. It was not that busy, as our chairs faced the bar & we could see they had plenty of time to chat. I pointed out our drinks had not been provided & although we then watched this member of staff prepare our drinks, she then left them on the bar & went off. By now 15 minutes had passed & we were concerned about out evening out booking, so just got up & left. Another member of staff then came after us, but I explained why. Our next trip to Bristol is in February - we will be staying elsewhere!

Faded Glory”
A great place to stay for Agoda's £110 rate but I wouldn't want to pay any more. The bed was very comfy and the staff were great. Having lived in Bristol previously, I found the location perfect for the city centre and short cab journey to Clifton, Cotham, Gloucester Road etc. Overall I really enjoyed it but it could do with a bit of a face-lift.

marriot bristol city centre”
it was pretty good. We had to move because of a burst pipe but this was done fairly quickly. All of the rooms seem to be the same 'queen' size which are big enough for two people. I really loved the pool and leisure facilities included in this hotel. The facilities include a pool of approximately 15-20 meters in length, a jacuzzi, a steam room, a sauna and a gym! the car park is quite big with 3 floors. They had some problems with the central reservations like so extended our stay was a problem. Once we extended our stay we had to go back to reception because our keys didn't work so the whole thing took a really long time! Apart from that we had a lovely stay.
