Tiny yet with enough equipments ”
Upon arrival you’ll be greeted with a very warm scent of cinnamon and the look of a very cosy waiting area. I was greeted by a very infectious host and offered enough suggestions on sights that I should check out. The room was decent, comfortable bed, tv that could access YouTube and connect my iPhone via Bluetooth. With a tiny kitchen, including enough kitchen wares (though a bit challenging to use), spacious bathroom (though with quite some problems), free laundry room to use (no washing machine in the room). The location is very easy to get to, few minutes walk from both Aldgate East and Aldgate station, and a bus stop around the corner. Around 20-30mins you’ll be able to get to central of everything.

chill hostel vibe at a good location”
just beside East Aldgate station but the station was closed quite often due to lack of manpower. 10 to 15 mins walk to tower of London and storey bridge. generally no room service although would have preferred if they can have a pantry area to restock supplies like instant coffee and tea. front staff wasn't familiar with where to get these items. laundry room was great even providing laundry detergent free. coffee shop and gym in the building across the room that also belongs to the hotel group but no breakfast included, cheap and fast pizza at pizza union just 3 mins away.

You get what you pay”
For that price, the tiny room size is expected, so no complaints. However, the walls are thin and you can hear the next room's conversations. There is also no one to clean your room - I stayed for 3 nights, no one came in. It's kind of dusty too cuz I had a massive sinus attack which I didn't experience for years.

We booked the micro studio - corner, if I’m not mistaken. There’s a mini kitchen area right at the doorstep where you can cook, small corridor leading to your bed area. Bed area is very space confined, u either jump onto the bed or onto the square couch. Studio is beautifully designed, with very minimalistic style. Bed is comfy for me. Lighting in the room is abit too dark for me. Location: jus 1 block away from aldgate east tube station; and 10-15mins walk to tower bridge. I like the neighborhood, quiet and doesn’t feel unsafe. There’s a sainsbury (supermarket) nearby, like 5 mins away so you can get your essentials and groceries. Only thing I wish was the apartment was bigger :)

Comfy bed and location is prime”
The room is a bit small. There was too big of sofa next to the bed so there was not much space for storing the luggages. But the decoration and facilities are nice and new. The location is very good. A few mins walk to many main attractions and tube.

Thumbs up to the hotel design. The room was intelligently layout to even fit a kitchen in a small space. The selection of materials, lightings and furniture make it feels like home. Overall, very good experience stay.

Nice design but not practical”
1. Overall, the design is nice to see, but the room is not nice to stay. 2. Room is small, but it does not matter as we already knew it when we booked the room. Layout is the problem. 3. First of all, cloth hooker is not placed near the door, but it is at the other end of the room. Once we returned to the room, we have to walk to the end of the room which is near the bed, to hang our jackets. 4. There is insufficient space to open a 28" luggages fully, not to mention that we have two pax with two 28" luggages. There is a small table and chair near the door. If it is for make up purpose, there is no mirror being placed there and the size does not allow us to open luggage on it as well. 5. There are sufficient socket plugs but the location of socket plugs does not make sense, i.e. two socket plugs are placed behind the wall of the bedframe instead of bedside. Guests have to stand up in order to reach the socket to turn on and off. 6. Bathroom and toilet is dark despite all lights are on. 7. We like the pantry the most.

A mixed bag”
The location is great - 1 block from the Underground down a quiet cul de sac. Our first room was a disaster- we booked a mini suite and were placed in a micro suite that was so miniscule there was nowhere to stand in the sleeping area given the oversized sofa against the bed. After being told we were placed in the wrong room and then told no, that's what you booked, staff finally arranged for a different, much better room. They admitted that the photos online are not fully reflective of the room you might end up in. If you're looking for attentive staff consider staying elsewhere. They ranged from indifferent and not even looking up from their computer to say "good morning", to not being able to suggest a restaurant that might be open after 9pm, to argumentative about what room we booked and were entitled to, to helpful in suggesting a better room, to Liban, the outstanding warm and welcoming overnight clerk who made our stay memorable. The rooms are clean and the facilities are fine. Undecided whether I would stay there again.

Clean and Modern , but.....”
It is not easy to find something Modern , clean and new hotel in London city. location is good. The best is the pantry for simple cooking / reheat food . One thing I like least about this room , the door is super super heavy ( fire resistance door) . Crazy loud when the neighbor close the door, woke up by that few times.

Totally not value for money”
The hotel room is extremely small and no space for reading or sitting except on the bed or going to the public sitting area in the mezzanine floor. No room service is provided - no change of bed sheets, no one to take away rubbish, no change of towels and no room cleaning! No facilities is provided. The drainage of the shower room is blocked. The cost is far too expensive compared to the room size and cleanliness. Totally not recommended!

short bus ride to hackney, broadway market. district line on tube. convenient to get around as tube station is just around the corner. 10 mins to spitalfields by foot. the place is nicely designed. ok staff. all in all, a nice place, convenient who enjoys the east side of the london

The layout is impractical, given the already small (and understandable) size of the room. No need for the huge velvet couch to take up the only space to potential free up for walking in the room. Practically have to walk sideways to the bed to avoid crashing into a stick out wall. Utensils are black and stained as well.

Wonderful stay”
Close proximity to Alden East station, Cinemas, Spitalfield Market, Salesforce Tower, and various restaurants including Chez Elles. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Book room service a day ahead and access laundry facilities specifically for guests. Josh, the manager, is a great resource and ensured we enjoyed our stay. An excellent alternative to the super busy city Center but close enough.

Micro hotel room”
The rooms are tiny, barely enough space for 2. The location is great that’s why we booked it. The access to the gym next door is a good plus. They don’t have turn down or second service so no need to use the do not disturb sign. They don’t even provide water.
