Awesome experience”
If you want to try out sleeping in a capsule, Capsule Inn Kinshicho will be an ideal place. It's near (10 minutes walk) the Kinshicho station and it's very easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The locker is very very small but they have a nice traditional Japanese Bath and sauna. Clean rooms, toothbrushes, all toiletries provided, wi-fi, clean towels and robes every day. Highly recommended!

Affordable Hotel In Tokyo”
If you want to try out sleeping in a capsule, Capsule Inn Kinshicho will be an ideal place. It is just 10min walk from Kinshicho Train Station and there is one big shopping mall just nearby too. Hotel staffs know limited English but they are still able to make out what you are trying to ask and they will try their best to help too.

Awesome experience, convenient location”
the hotel was in a convenient location close to kinshicho station which is on both the jr and tokyo metro lines so it is quick and easy to access the most interesting places in tokyo. the capsule was much bigger than i expected with a tv and radio, although there is no air conditioning or fan inside the capsule. the basement baths were great, i enjoyed my evenings spent in the sauna, hot baths and pools. it is a public, traditional japanese style bathhouse so be prepared to get naked in front of old japanese men. if you know some japanese try talking with them- its not awkward. the staff were always friendly and very helpful when i asked for directions, recommendations and travel advice. although i do speak japanese so i think it was easier. as long as you lock your valuables away, there are no issues with security. great restaurants, bars and fast food places within walking distance. great experience in the capsule and awesome time in the baths!

Alright Capsule Hotel”
I booked and stayed at Capsule Inn Kinshincho for 7 nights and enjoyed my stay for the most part. Location-wise,it was less then a 10 minute walk from Kinshincho JR station and lots plenty of places to get food at. Reception and staff,I had an easy time chatting with them in my conversational Japanese and a few times I had a problem, they helped me through it. Capsule Inn Kinshincho is a alright place to settle in and have a sleep. They have a few vending machines for a quick eat like instant ramen and beer on tap you can help yourself with, along with a couple of other beverage vending machines. The only really bad thing about staying here is you have to be ready to get a whiff of second hand smoking. Some people smoke by the staircases, with the door left open and some even by the sauna/shower room. I was unlucky to made a bad choice and not sleep on my final night prior to my flight back home and as a result, got enough 2nd hand smoke ingested that I got sick(made my throat extremely dry)and felt the full effects after I started drinking water in the late hours. Other then that, its a okay place, provided you don't mind the 2nd hand smoke and don't hang around the hotel inside for too long because of that. No coin washing machine in the place but there's a coin laundry place 3 doors to the right of it outside, same building. If it wasn't for the smoke,I'd give it a much higher rating.

Good location. Basic needs satisfied.”
Pros: 1) Easy to get from the airport to this hotel. There are many trains from the airport to Kinshicho station that don't require pre-book. 2) 10-minute walk to Tokyo Skytree 3) Check out possible until 12 pm, which is later than most other capsules 4) Most staffs can speak English ok and helpful Cons: 1) Wifi only available in public area, not in capsule. 2) The temperature of the pools are more extreme than other hotels. (Hot pool is too hot. Cold pool is too cold.) 3) Locker very small (tall but way too narrow)

Nicer than I expected”
All in all I really enjoyed this place. I stayed here one night after moving out of a guesthouse and into my permanent place. Though it is not the cheapest kind of accommodation, it is pretty close to the prices of guesthouses and offers far better service. It is very clean, it is conveniently located near Kinshicho station and best of all, it has a Sento (public bathhouse) attached that you can use free of charge, including a sauna. That is actually not standard at all even in better hotels in central areas, so this was a huge plus for me. The capsules are spacious and should be comfortable even for taller people. I'm 1,82m and felt very comfortable. Again, I've had smaller, and more importantly: dirtier beds in guesthouses. Also, very friendly and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to ask about dining recommendations, fresh towels or anything thats on your mind.

Nice and comfortable!”
The Capsule Inn Kinshicho offers a traditional Japanese capsule hotel experience also open to females. It is not luxury accommodation but perfectly functional and clean. Great experience and in fact we had a very comfortable stay and a good nights sleep. The communal bathroom facilities take a bit of getting used to but it's all in the spirit of any trip to Japan! There is a yakitori restaurant around the corner on the way to the metro which is amazing and I would definitealy recommend if you get the chance to go. Overall we had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay at Capsule Inn Kinshicho and would recommend.

Great service and price”
The hotel has great service, and the staff will teach you about the ways of a capsule hotel, as they can be a little foreign on your first time. The price is higher than other capsule hotels but still good for tokyo. The location is out of the center of town, in a suburb, but at least the area is authentic. Cheap eats to be had in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to from Narita airport. The japanese sento, or spa, is quite nice but small. The capsules are spacious but do not have a door, only a curtain, so some noises will come through. There are lockers for bags though. The hotel is good for a single or two night stay, especially if transiting through tokyo, but not for a long holiday. Male and female capsules on separate floors.

Limited personal space but clean and tidy”
I tried to book this capsule inn with curiosity and thus I only booked for 1 night. At first I was a bit worried of security as user will not have a room but a capsule. However, it proved that users do not need to worry as long as your personal valuables such as passport, money and cards are kept with you all the time. They provide a locker for your clothing. The floor is for female access only and we can lock the main door whenever entrying or going out. Capsule is a small but cute sleeping place but equipped with radio and TV. The most impressed part of this inn is the public bath they provide, again for women only. I think I will pay my second visit in the future.

Convenient location by subway nearby.”
very friendly hotel stuff and comfortable shower room(actually it's a hot spring pool). Each capsule gets its TV, although very small. Nearby transportation is cool enough while the JR line and subway's in 5minutes walk. The restaurant and store also made this trip a plus experience. The price's also cheap, on the compared same environment situation. Absolutely pick this hotel next time if possible to come TOKYO.

my first capsule hotel”
We were at the Capsule Inn Kinshicho in Tokyo for 1 night. The hotel is very unique and minimalist because it is for one person capsule like room: a good friendly staff. Rooms are so clean and modern. The bathroom has sauna and warm pool and next to it there is a gym equipment. Good location near the subway system. Stayed April 2014, traveled on leisure

nice budget capsule hotel”
this was a great budget location next to a train station and the Tokyo sky tree, and even a 24hr restaurant very close by. I would stay here again if I were backpacking through Tokyo on a budget. the place shows signs of wear, but they clearly care about providing a quality experience, because the "Tokyo" amenities like the giant spa / bath / sauna are really nice, and the capsules themselves are also well maintained. this is Japan's version of a nice hostel.

First time in Japan”
I made my first visit to Japan and decided on Tokyo to be my first stop. I booked a capsule because of the price and I wanted to experience something new. I very much enjoyed my stay here, it takes a few nights to get accustomed to sleeping in a capsule, but after that it's pretty nice!

Classic Capsule Experience with ALL the perks”
This capsule experience didn't disappoint. Though capsules are generally the best option when you CAN'T go anywhere else, we have found more and more that they are the best option period. This location had friendly and helpful staff who did their best to explain the premises. And the conditions of the capsule room, the bath, and services (beer vending machine, bathrooms, games) were above par. I would highly recommend this hotel over one of the bigger and more hard to maintain options in Shinjuku or Ikebukuro.

Unique and fun experience”
Even if you just try it one night while in Tokyo, it's worth just doing it for the story. Was surprised at the amount of Japanese businessmen staying in the capsules, which gave it a more authentic feel. Don't forget to make use of the sauna area downstairs. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful, even recommended two decent restaurants nearby. A couple drawbacks: -army of elderly cleaning women showed up to clean the place from top to bottom, thus forcing everyone out by 830am -electronics inside capsules could certainly use an upgrade, however! Lol

Great experience”
This was a very unique and enjoyable experience. Make sure you do your research before staying in a capsule hotel so you are familiar with the bathing eetiquette of the Japanese. Be prepared to strip down in front of a large group and have a bath together... The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. Wifi was working, they say only in the reception area but you can get it on the level above as well-I even could access it frommy capsule.
