Great place: it is very close to Ueno station and Ueno park. There is a sento at basement, a convenient store at ground floor, a restaurant at 2nd floor and many restaurants around the hotel. Full of facilities: clothes, towel, hair dryers, comb, shampoo, shower soap, face soap, face lotion, make up remover, sento and they are free. There are also washing machines and dryers but you have to pay coins to use them Nice staffs: although some of them cannot speak English but they are very helpful and polite

Conveniently located, nearer to Ueno metro station than Ueno-hirokoji as indicated. Was a nightmare maneuvering through the Ameyo street crowd with a luggage from Ueno-Hirokoji station. Exit from Ueno station exit 5b, turn left and walk straight down instead, away from the crowd. Pros: Like the meals, facilities and cozy privacy in the capsule, Staff speak good English to communicate. Cons: TV box in capsule too low at head level, keep bumping into it. Only 2 shower rooms to share among all the ladies, stressful with a clock inside to remind your conscientiousness. Inconvenient to guest who has late flight to depart as hotel doesn’t permit luggage storage for later collection after checkout.

Location wisely ,breakfast buffet good n cheap .Wifi is Super slow n when I did the check out surprisingly the staff told me that day their luggages space was almost full so I wasn’t allowed to leave my luggage after check out ??? It is weird when the others can but I couldn’t . So lastly we deal to leave my 20inc luggage and a small hand carry there for only 2 hours ... I wasn’t sure that any others met the same issue , but my friend who recommended this capsule for me never met this .

Well, I was booked just one night and also it’s my first time. The location and the facilities both are not bad even they provide public bath which is very useful after you walking all day on the Tokyo city and want to take a comfortable bath not just shower. But I had to say the staffs are not professional and the attitude also very bad. First, after I finish the checkin processing they even not explain how could I use the roomID (high tech). When I stay in the counter wait for her to introduce the build and she just look like “why are you still stay here?” And then she asked “ Do I need to introduce the whole building for you?” “Sure, thank you, please “I said. Why she ask me like I was already lived here several times before I can’t get it. When I check out the same thing also happened to me. Well, next time I will consider more.

I had an early flight out of Narita Tokyo and had to take the first Keisei Skyliner train. Capsulenet was within walking distance (~10 mins) to the Keisei train station, ~5 mins from JR line and ~10 mins to the two closest metro line. Very convenient location. It is also right beside many restaurants and also very close to Ameyoko and Ueno Park. Capsulenet is very safe for a sole female traveller and they provided all the necessary amenities, there is even an onsen! Capsulenet is connected directly to a 7-11. They have 2 lockers, one for shoes and one for valuables. The valuable locker is only adequate for a cabin luggage, bigger luggages need to be stored at the locked room close to the reception. Definitely value for money due to their proximity to the Keisei skyliner and other metro lines, walking distance to eateries and Ueno Park!!

pros: location very near Ueno station (JR and keisei line) ueno okachimachi and ueno hirokoji. very accessible to different parts of tokyo! and no hassle in going to and from the airport because of the keisei line. near the ameyoko shopping street, ueno park, and ueno zoo as well. staff very helpful. good food (breakfast/dinner). lots of surrounding restaurants, convenience stores and shops! the place very clean and got its own onsen and direct door to 711. cons: the locker for the capsule room was quite small. only a hand carry luggage and a small backpack could fit. the breakfast (and dinner) is provided but you need to pay if u choose to eat there. will definitely choose this place again!

This hostel has everything! For the money you pay, you do get a capsule bed BUT everything else is business class standard. 1st class toiletries, an in-house onsen, bathrobe, clean towel, coin laundrette, hot water, 2 different lockers (shoes & valuables), high tech Japanese toilets ...... hurray, breakfast (buffet style) & dinner. It's also just across the bridge to UENO JR Station and a few hundred metres to Ueno Park. Eateries and convenience stores around you. I can't find a single bad thing about it. The staff speak decent basic English. Make sure you check out on time or they'll charge you for the extra minutes. Haha! Book early because it seems popular among Japanese business travellers and I can see why.

Convenient and low budget choice for Traveller”
Capsule is well located at Ueno walking street and just 5mins away from Ueno train station and JR. Convenient place for dining and shopping. Capsule is comfortable with various social facilities such as Japanese spa, leisure lounge with comic books. The only bad is the locker is too small to put the normal size of suitcase and has to kept at front desk.

This hotel has everything: good location, resonable price for lunch and dinner, sauna, hot bath pool, clean, room is good, people are not so noisy.. i could sleep well. There is one seven-evelen in the 1st floor so many choice. One bad thing is I booked the room but they gave me the capsule... anyway, definitely will stay here again for the next trip. Highly recommend.

A capsule hotel that gives you a good nigh sleep”
I stayed in a capsule for 2 nights. The price is in mid to high range among the same accommodation in the area. However, it is totally worth it. The beddings in the capsule is wide and comfortable. I slept very well during the 2 night stay. The capsule cells are not facing each other like other places do. Therefore, the room is very quiet and I didn't hear any sound at all. Breakfast costs 550 yen. It is continental breakfast plus a few Japanese hot dishes. The food was good and fresh. The soap and shampoo they provide is of high quality. Overall, I enjoy the stay very much.

I thought I booked the hotel here quite expensive lol. The location is only 140 from Kawakuchigo station and there is many restaurants nearby. The staff is helpful and recommend us very good. They also prepare us an information about the city and recommend restaurants in town. The room is big but we need to prepare the futon by ourselves and they are heavy. The restroom is big and very clean. Also there are many facilities in the restroom and I love it. Staff can speak good English.

The price in agoda is better coz it includes breakfast buffet. but breakfast is too salty for me, so next day i just pay 2600 without breakfast. The location is perfect if u wanna go shopping in ameyoko. Environment is perfect and clean, so many local people rest here. Free rental of ipad2 and many other electronics. Pity that no staff speak English so it is hard to communicate. And no luggage storage.

My stuff was stolen and hotel did not pursue the matter”
As much as I enjoyed the facility of the hotel, on my second morning of the stay, my stuff was stolen inside the premise of the hotel on the 5th floor near vending machine. The stolen bag was later found with some items inside it missing. Even though there was a security camera in that area, in the end the staffs did not show me the footage or tried to find out who the thief was. Every guest had their passport photocopied upon checking in so in my opinion, that along with security footage shouldn’t make it too difficult to identify the culprit. Yet no effort was made by the hotel to pursue this matter further. I felt unsafe but was told that even with this incident, I would not be able be able to get partial refund even if I want to leave early. I was told that the hotel will file a police report, although throughout the 8 nights of my stay, nobody came to talk to me about the incident so I had a feeling they never did what they said they would do in the first place. In the end, I had to stay for 8 night, supposedly no police report was file as I never got questioned about the incident, could not find out who stole my stuff and my lost items couldn’t be retrieved. Tl;dr: be very careful about your stuffs even if you are in Japan. My stuff got stolen in the hotel and I did not receive sufficient help from the hotel staffs to retrieve my lost item or identify the culprit.

Its my second time to stay here. Its good location with many facilities. Room is cold, ventilation machince is noisy.. people come in and out, talking. The locker is inside the sleeping room so its noisy when people open and close. However chekc out time is 11am so its quite comfortable
