No nonsense hotel....everything you need is there: fridge, AC, vault and a versatile waterpark close to the city center of Bacolod. Staff is friendly also

Had a nice time staying at Carribean Resotel”
It was pleasant beacause we enjoyed the swimming pool and the kids really loved the pool slide. It was close to or it is located at the heart of all exciting activities in Bacolod City. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but if you want to bring your own food, you can cook beside your rented cottage or room as this resort is like a beach resort at the heart of the city. Staff performance was good especially that waiter (forgot his name) who even went outside the resort just to buy us our beer, for their bar closes at 930pm. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Old rooms”
Waterpark itself is great. Very fun for all. Rooms were old and sad, but in reality, your not there for the room, your there for the waterpark. Restaurantso and bars all within immediate walking distance. Great night life area, lots of adult fun in the area. Would stay again.

Get what you pay for”
The facilities are a bit old but still fully functional. Friendly staff. The pool is a bit dirty with some sediments underneath. In general, we had a good experience. Will definitely go back there when given the chance to be back at Bacolod.

Good pools for kids, but very poor rooms”
Modern, clean, nicely landscaped, and good water-slides! Pools are well maintained (actually chlorinated), lifeguards on duty (most times). The "Family Suite" is definitely a misnomer! Agoda provides no picture of the room (now I know why). Similar to a small, low-end “Motel 6” budget room: no carpet, no closet, empty – unplugged extremely small refrigerator, poor lighting, small old CRT type TV, only basic minimal furnishings. Old dirty plastic furniture on the porch (by request). Upon opening the door, a large cockroach greeted us. The bathroom smells very foul of sewer gas because there are no “P-traps” on the sink & shower (no bath tub provided): Do NOT turn on the exhaust fan or the entire “suite” will be filled with sewer smell! With the very small room and only one queen bed, where is the family supposed to sleep? Outside? Additionally, the Caribbean is NOT “biggest water slide pool in Negros Occidental and the Visayas” as wrongly advertised: – for “the real thing”, the Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort on Mactan in Cebu is by far the BEST in the Philippines. It appears that Caribbean is engaging in false advertising. This is a great “day resort” (with no on-site restaurant). Again, good water recreation: the kids loved it! But do not stay overnight there. Their chosen word “Resotel” provides a hint of the mediocre quality.

A bed for the night.”
Disappointing. The positives were the swimming pools for adults and children and the friendly and efficient reception and maintenance staff. The hotel looks a bit rundown and characterless. My wife and I had a better deal with the Businessman's room rather than the rest of the family who were in 2 family rooms. These family rooms seemed small and only two beds seemed a bit short of what you would expect from such a facility. We only stayed one night. We would have seriously considered finding another hotel if we were staying longer in Bacolod. The final criticism is not the fault of the hotel - but everything - especially eating places - appeared to be closed on Sunday. Thanks to Pizzaro for saving us from starving. I won't be returning to the Caribbean.

the ultra modern water slide is the one top reason that i and my girlfriend chose this wonderful hotel. it was very centrally located near some great restaurants and bars of all sorts. bowling and billiards are extremely close as well as a casino in a nearby hotel. i would consider staying in this very reasonably priced hotel because of its very modern water slide in the pool that was just a few feet from our hotel room door. grills are also available for rental from the hotel at a reasonable price so you can barbeque and enjoy an afternoon near your hotel room area.

Toilet tank filled extremely slow and I called the front desk to have the toilet fixed and the person that came said just wait about 20 minutes for the tank to fill. I said that's a pretty poor way of fixing the problem. He had no interest in fixing the toilet. We filled a large water bottle with water from the shower and poured it in the toilet tank inorder to flush the toilet. I think the maintaince of the hotel overall was pretty poor. We had company and it was quite embarrassing to have to fill the toilet tank everytime someone used the toilet. I will travel to Bacolod again but will chose another place to stay besides the Caribean.

My wife wanted to go on adventure so she went to see some water falls but was disappointed because no swimming. I then booked her your place Caribean Resort after I used Agoda search. I am in Iraq and was able to easily book it. They had a great time and said all foods reasonable priced! I say an excellent ending to a bad start! Thanks all!

Good place to stay for family with kids”
We booked Business Suite and pay additional to upgrade for Family Suite Room as we have 2 kids with us. They required extra bed for child(ren) above 2 years old which is for me it's insane. The beds in our upgraded room was the same as their Business Suite (2 small Single Beds) knowing that we pay extra for a Family Room. They should put a bigger size single beds in their Family Room. This hotel is good if you want to day use with their waterpark. Otherwise, it's a bit noisy if you want to relax in your hotel room.

Perfect size for a couple”
the pool is very close to our hotel roon door and also two water slides for the kids as well as the adults. kids will be entertained for hours as the adults swim or lounge near the pool in the outdoor cabanas next to the pool or even make a barbeque. the barbeque grill and charcoal are available for rent from the hotel at a small addditional charge. please note, the one thing that i did not like was the fact that the hotel charged us a cork fee per every bottle of beer that we purchased from the supermarket and brought into our room (very unfair).

We were given a standard room with a queen size bed, the room was decent, clean and large but lacked lighting.it was friday when we checked in and they were cleaning the pools so we waited a couple of hours until we dipped in the poseidon themed pool. the facilities were not working so i asked the staff if they could turn it on,he said hey will in a while, which he didn't but we didnt mind because there were just a few of us swimming that time and we waited the next day during full operations of the facilities. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one, our daughter enjoyed the slides and the fountains the pool offered. However, the restaurant was not available on weekdays so i have to buy food in a nearby convenient store and a pizza parlor.

the pool is clean, big and well maintained with lifeguard staff. a small "river rafting" pool is offered using tubes as well as a seperate and large kiddie pool. there is a jacuzzi but the water is the same temp as the pool. there are also two water slides that the kids enjoyed very much. huts are offered for pesos per day for small & large.
