Cloud 9 Resort in Lonavala is a excellent resort in terms of location, food and facilities. We stsyed in hill top vottage which had excellent view of the mountain. People interested in birding as well as astronomy can make use of their terrace which can be used for birfing as well as viewing the night sky.

Stayed here on new year's Eve with 3 other couples and 4 kids. Location and food (pure vegetarian) is the USP of this place. Staff is kind and courteous. Food quality and variety is good. Rooms are big enough (we were in valley view cottage), it doesn't quite offer a view of the valley but nevertheless is good. Overall a good place to stay a couple of nights.

Electricity issues in an amazing location with awesome spa and food. ”
Everything was great about Cloud 9 Hills Resort. It feels like you are actually living in the clouds. They have a spa which is relaxing and rejuvenating as it has properly trained personnel. Facilities are alright and food is good but electricity goes off quite frequently and you need to get behind reception quite often to get the generators running quickly. A brilliant location in the rains if they can sort electricity issues.

Good Resort to visit with family and small kids .... Like the location.... Only 2 things which I personally didn't like ws 1st they dont serve food in room (only available for senior citizens) ... 2nd only veg food is available....

It’s costly resort with regard to facilities ”
Resort is fine, nothing bad about it but I felt it was overpriced. If the costing 4-7k, than it is VFM. I paid 10K for a night stay, booked online, and the room I got had restricted view. Resort is clean. Food is ok ok, and food/beverage charges are fine. Service is also fine, staff tries to help you.

Nice views except rooms aren't too big. Place was clean and staff were quick and helpful. The hill top rooms seem better. Only considering is if you would want non-veg, you might want to visit another place as this resort is pure veg.

Not suitable for family. Places where I have been before do not charge for kids food. This place charges even for kids milk. When asked to remove from bill, manager said NO. Evening snacks is highly priced at 250 for Samosa and tea

Not worth it”
So I went with a group of friends and there are multiple reasons why I wouldn’t recommend the resort - 1. They don’t provide any travel facility. Given it’s very far from the city (even tiger and lion point), they should have something. Also they do provide a travel agents no. But that guy charges quite a bit. 2. The service is very slow - it takes AGES to get any food to the room. But the food is pretty decent! 3. Lights go very often and they keep fluctuating. It’s bad for any devices kept for charging. Also wifi is very poor :(

What was shown in the pic was not delivered like the room and other hygiene. Bathroom had a foul smell and cracks, power outage is a big issue… ac makes noises like a cricket. Location is good but there is lacking everywhere k…. Overall u will not get to have the worth of your money.

1.Resort Location is far from Main town , In case you don't have own Vehicle Please do not book this as it will cost you 700 Rupees to reach the resort only. 2.The Rooms quality are not worth of the Money we are paying even Oyo rooms are better than this 3. Food quality and Taste was awesome which is the plus point. 4.Only specific customers were treated well like giving gifts to them , I dnt know why resorts do that specially for the Foreigners who visits. Overall ok stay if you get the Resort for less than 4k go for it or else please do not book.

Notnat all worth spending money here! No room service.. we called @ 12 for nashta, they said all are busy oreparing lunch! We called at 5 for snacks, the person said all are busy for preparing dinner! We go for a vacation to relax and not to get such reverts! Or else you should mention in advance no room service! Do not book in this resort

I wish I had read the reviews more closely, coz the place is truly pathetic as reviewed by an earlier traveller. It is ONLY for people who like to travel as a group or community. Even the sit-out has to be shared with the guest next door. Rooms are half the size of what you would expect. Only for 100% vegetarians. Don't even serve eggs! Service is unfriendly.

Hi Ms. Aparna, We are extremely sorry if you felt an unfriendly experience at our resort but Cloud 9 Hills Resort is for all nature lovers as we are situated at 3000 ft above sea level amidst hills and fog. We have cottages and villas with private sit outs and balcony that are personal and not shared by any other family or group. Rather there is so much open space available that one can choose their own sit-out. We serve vegetarian food and nowhere mention that we serve nonveg meals. Infact our guests who are non-vegetarian also visit us regularly and enjoy the vegetarian delicacies. We do have spacious rooms and the original pictures for the same are uploaded on the website and our social media pages as well. Do give us a chance to host you again and become a happy satisfied patron.

Below average - no hooks in bathrooms for clothes - no hand towel hooks - relatively clean overall. But bath towels were rough like a pumice stone. Food quality was ok ok. Overall wouldn’t recommend or stay here again !

They had one bath tub completely broken and they have taken booking confirmation for that room. Once we reached at the property we waited for one hour for check in time and then we head up to the room and I saw the broken bath tub. Untidy bed room. Room was smelly. It was really a bad experience there overall. I would not repeat it and not recommend it even.
