I were there with my bf last time. The location is good enough for to go to anywhere in Ha Long. Beside that, there is a small bar there, a kind of restaurant for tourist on the ground floor. So I think it's better for a group travel than couple.

Stayed here with my bestfriend (third floor but counting from the ground floor its equivalent to being the 6th floor) and below are are pros and cons. Pros: > Super friendly and helpful staff > Excellent location (can't stress this enough) > You got three breakfast options (go for the noodles!) > Rooms are hella spacious (recommend you guys stay on the 3rd floor and above for the airflow) > Got hangers, washing machine and clothes line so laundry is taken cared of > I think they had free water I just forgot to ask haha Cons: > If you are not that fit then STAIRS (just take it easy) > The bathroom doesn't have a window or proper ventilation so we just leave the door slightly ajar and periodically (about 2-3 times a day) open the main door to swap out for fresh air. No biggie. > The sink drains directly to the bathroom floor (got a mini river from sink to the shower drain every time we use the sink but we personally didn't mind) > The old musty hotel air (fixed it with air freshener)

It was a nice backpacker hostel. Room was fine and beds were nice. The bad: location is not good. There is nothing to do in the area at all. Very booring. The food in the restaurant. Its expensive for what you get. With other words its not price worthy. Also it takes a long time to get the food you ordered. As long as you know this you wont make the same mistakes as we did and have a good stay.

Lit en dortoir trop dur”
J'ai dormid en dortoir et les matelas sont dur comme du roc. Pourtant je suis habitué à dormir à la "dure" comme on dit, mais j'ai étais on ne peut plus surpris d'une telle qualité de matelas. Et mis à part que y a rien à faire à Ha Long ville. Sinon l'hôtel est cool. Propre, les gens sont cool, fin un hôtel. Et pas cher.

チェックインする際、ネズミが二匹フロントにいました。 私は驚きましたが、スタッフは笑ってたのでいつものことの様です。 その後もフロントに居た際、ネズミを見たので住み着いているんだと思います。 女性のスタッフは英語が喋れました。 朝チェックアウトして、その日にハロン湾のツアーに参加して、サパまで寝台バス乗るのでシャワー貸して欲しいというと一階にシャワー室が二部屋あり使わせて貰えました。 部屋に備え付けっぽいのでダメかな〜と思いましたが大丈夫でした。 ハロン湾のツアー朝8時ピックアップ夕方4時半にホテルに戻るツアーを予約したいというと、850.000ドンでした。 これは高いと思い、他のツアー会社行ってみようと思うんだけどどこにありますか？ と聞くと「この辺沢山あるわよ。」 と言われました。 10分前に着いて土地勘が全くないので、マップを見せて「ここを真っ直ぐ行ったらある？」と聞くと、あるよ。と言われたので、歩き続けましたが、全くありませんでした。 かろうじてお土産屋さんに小さな看板があり、夜の7時を過ぎる頃だったので、今日中に予約しないと明日の朝行けないし、800.000ドンだったので、それでも高いと感じつつ予約しました。 その後ホステルに戻る時、一本裏を歩くと沢山ツアー会社がありました。 向こうも別に嘘を教える気は無かったと思いますが、不親切だし説明不足です。 凄く悲しい気持ちになりました。 そこで聞くと最安値は700.000ドンと言われました。 本当にツアー会社やホテルによって同じパンフレット同じツアーでも値段が違います。 部屋は四人部屋で私と男の人一人でした。 今まで沢山旅をしてきましたが、男の人と二人というのは無かったので、驚きましたし、正直嫌でした。もう少し配慮があっても良いと思いました。 シャワーはお湯出ます。 バスタオル、フェイスタオルあります。 ドライヤーもありました。 朝食はないです。 あとエレベーターはなく、5階まで階段を登りますが、そもそもフロントが3階にあるので、毎日8階分登らなくてはいけなかったのが地味にしんどかったです。 もう二度と利用しないと思います。

年末の31・1日に利用しました。2階がレストランバーなので、夜は結構うるさいです。地元の若者がニューイヤーパーティーで盛り上がっていました。僕は特に気になりませんでしたが、これ系が苦手な人にはキツイかも。
