Went to meet my grandson who is at Edinburgh University The hotel was reasonably located but not walking distance to the Royal Mile The Hotel staff were welcoming, great and helpful, the room had all facilities and was very clean, the breakfast was amazing. Stay was really peaceful. They have got hidden charges (Parking fee -14 pounds per day) , which we got to know at the time of checkout only. It was advertised as a facility.

Modern Boutique Hotel”
PROS. Clean facilities. Good breakfast selection but gets tiring if you are staying for more than 1 day. Ample toiletries and amenities. Comfy beds as per Hilton’s standards. Value for money. CONS. Staff could be more attentive but good enough for me. Quite far from the city center but bus stops abound. You need to walk a lot if you do not want to take the bus. I will stay again.

Pros: location is very convenient. Room and breakfast we enjoyed a lot. I was impressed by a reception executive (can't memorize the name) was so generous to us when we arrived early morning by around 8:30am. Though it was too early to check in but he immediately offered us a breakfast so cordially that made us really grateful to him. Room also offered by him later on before usual time. Corn: At the evening when we back to hotel after a daylong university program we were so thirsty and my colleague approached to take a glass of water very surprisingly that tall little bearded guy (can't see the name) literally misbehaved and was so rude to us. The next night the sane guy repeated the same rude and unprofessional behavior to us. We just brought so simple food from a cafe. We just requested a person microwave our packs for a minute and she agreed and attempted doing so but suddenly that rude and crazy guy came and showed same attitude to us and refused. We were so hurt as it was Hilton!

My husband and I were going to a charity ball at Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa so this was perfectly situated for us. We did get a taxi to the event as we were dressed up. There was plenty space in the room to get ready, we had a couple of drinks in the bar before heading out, staff were very friendly and helpful. Slept great after a night of dancing bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

not directly in the city centre, but next to Fountainbridge where there are many entertainment facilities including a cinema. There are two bus routes into town near the hotel. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very good and filling. The rooms were spacious compared to many UK hotels.

Decent enough ”
The hotel itself isn't far out. I couldn't find the parking so found a different place to park. The bed was really squeaky so if my partner turned over it was waking me up. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone up and down the corridor all night. The breakfast was good, as was the bar area.

Room description is cheating & bad service in house keeping”
We reserved a Queen Room with Sofa Bed for 3 nights. The room is totally different from their description! As per their room specification in the website, our selected room should be in 35sqm/377sqft, and the bed should be in queen size. However, the actual room is very small, it's around or even less than 200sqft. The bed is 5ft width, that is king size, not queen size. Queen bed should be in 6ft width! Their description is cheating. I asked the hotel staff, she said that was queen size bed, I was speechless. It's really unbelieve if this hotel is by Hilton! Another bad experience was the house keeping issue. When we back to the hotel at night in the next day, we found the house keeper didn't make our beds, she cleaned the bathroom only! We talked to the hotel staff, he said that we should request if we need someone to make the bed. It really ridiculous, making the bed is one of the hotel services. Finally, the house keeper made our beds on the next two days, but she didn't empty the rubbish bin one day. The rubbish bin was full and we should put other rubbish next to the bin. I wonder why she didn't notice them and throw the rubbish! Overall, we have a bad experience to this hotel and we won't recommend this hotel to anyone!

Mediocre…staff and facilities are below average. ”
Honestly, clean place, it has an elevator, staff are not friendly, especially when you want to ask a question. There are no trolleys for your luggage, no one offered assistance and Parking is in the rear, whereby the only access is to walk outside with all your luggage and no trolley. Not to mention there is no real drop off area for you to load or unload your luggage from your car. Their excuse was, not everyone has luggage or a car! Ironically… customer service is absolute crap in the UK on general. Pretty annoying.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small considering we booked a double bed and a sofa bed, for 3 adults, the space was very cramped. It should be noted that there is also no mini fridge in the room, and in the room we stayed in, the windows could not be opened. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception staff explained to us that they were short of staff and therefore some services were reduced. The first day, there was no hot breakfast, only toast and cereals, from the second day onwards there was a better buffet. On the first two days they didn't do the room either, on the third day we asked for the room to be done and for the bath soaps to be refilled, but unfortunately nobody did it. Considering this, I would say that the quality-price ratio is not objective, as they do not meet the advertised services.
