Spent 2 nights in Birmingham for a conference. I received a very warm welcome at check in, which was efficient and easy. Comfortable bed, a hot shower, a delicious breakfast and close to everything I needed around Brindley Place.

Overnight stay”
Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Reception was clean and tidy, room was clean and tidy , comfortable bed. Cons : bad smell on the 7th floor like drains etc. Was given a disabled room which we were told we had booked (we didnt and couldn't change as the hotel was fully booked). To open the fridge door you had to lift the fridge up as there was a wooden lip on the front of the cabinet stopping the door from opening.

The Staff”
I just want to state how incredible the staff were to ourselves and the point that after I’d had a few too many drinks and left my phone in the toilet of said bathroom it was returned to me at my hotel door. They rang the hotel room first but this is just so incredible as so many people would take off with a bit of found tech so huge huge pat on the back. Everything is lovely about this hotel but this was just outstanding

Great hotel and lovely location, could have been a bit cleaner. There were numerous hairs across the bathroom and the dressing table. But the staff were lovely and the location is mint to get out and about around Birmingham.

Nice hotel overall but….”
disappointed that there were stains on the carpet, walls and on the curtains, not just in 1 room but in another room, as we asked to be moved to a different room because there was a sticky mark on the bedsheet. you would expect that in a lower star hotel but not a 4 star. Great location near broad street and helpful staff. I would stay again but wouldn’t like to pay there expensive prices. I would say the jury’s inn is practically the same as the hilton but cheaper.

A great place to stay. The room was immaculate and had free internet access which was a wonderful bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also surprisingly quiet for the centre of Birmingham. We would highly recommend The Hilton Garden Inn to anyone wanting to stay in Birmingham.

Lovely hotel perfect for symphony hall”
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the hotel, we had arranged for flowers to be delivered for my wife's birthday, these were waiting in our room. The attention to detail from the staff was second to none. If you are looking to stay at the centre of everything in Birmingham then there is only one place to stay and that is the Hilton Garden Hotel in Brindley place.

Fantastic hotel, brilliant staff”
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in, it was extremely clean, the bedrooms were generously sized and the bathrooms were immaculate. The room was cleaned each morning with fresh towels and bedding, and the breakfasts were fantastic. All in all a great city break, brilliantly positioned in the centre of Brindley Place, meaning the city centre was walkable. No noise from Broad Street and centred in the modern district besides the best restaurants and bars in Birmingham. You do have to pay for parking additionally though. However, I shall definitely be staying in these hotels around the country again.

Delightful hotel in very convenient location”
only stayed the one night for a very brief visit to birmingham. hotel was a high standard with reasonable size rooms, good bathroom and a very warm and welcoming air. ideally situated for good restaurants, nia, sealife, theatre and cbso concert hall, canals, city centre and all the entertainments of broad street. happy to stay there again and would recommend to others. only downside, due to location, was expensive parking; around per night.

I really like the retro early 1960s lobby decor and the minimalist decor of the guest rooms. Very clean. Pleasant staff. The bathroom is small but very well designed with a fascinating hinge on the shower stall that maximizes space by enabling the shower door to open in a fascinating way. My only complaint is that 150 British pounds were charged to my credit card for the stay even though my Visa card's Agoda bill for the room had been paid before I even arrived in Birmingham. The desk staff told me this charge will disappear within 10 days but I can't understand why this automatic charge (the desk staff runs the credit card through upon arrival, which is fine in case there are incidentals) was not negated upon checkout since I charged nothing to the room. I think Agoda needs to look into this. I'm hoping the charge will disappear and that I won't have to start pursuing this matter.

Comfortable and well located ”
The hotel is clean, bed is comfortable and day staff are helpful. It’s located a short walk away from Broad Street, the Arena Birmingham and Brindleyplace, so events, eating, drinking and partying are all covered. My only request would be for the late night staff (midnight onwards) to be more courteous to returning guests. I know some guests can be boisterous after a few drinks, but having a polite, firm but fair approach would receive a better response from them and make your life easier rather than being rude. I didn’t even drink and was completely respectful to the staff, but felt I was treated as an inconvenience. Despite this, I had a great stay, slept well and would definitely stay again.

fantastic hotel in a good location”
Hotel is located just off Broad Street in a new modern leisure complex. Quiet location based around large amounts of bars and restaurants. Only a 15 minute walk to the Bull Ring shopping centre but quicker in a taxi if you don't like walking. Hotel is very clean with decent size rooms. The iMac in each room is a nice touch and general hotel setup is fantastic. Spent one night and will only stay in this hotel when in Birmingham.
