Excellent well placed base for old Hoi an”
With a comfortable room, great choice in the breakfast buffet and a good pool for kids and adults together with friendly helpful staff you could hardly ask for more. The location close to the old town centre could not be better for wandering the streets exploring the many excellent restaurants and shops around. We were comfortable despite a monsoon. We have never been disappointed in three stays now over around 20 years.

Centrally located hotel that is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An”
Hoi An Historic hotel is centrally located in Hoi An and being very close to the morning and night markets and the river front. It’s like a 10-15 leisurely walk to these areas. These areas are very busy with tourists. Even though it is close to these tourist spots, the location of the hotel is very quiet and tranquil and offers travelers some quietness. Breakfast is ok with good varieties….the bacon is just so awesome that I ate a lot of it. The surrounding area has lots of option for food – Vietnamese cuisine (Miss Ly, Banh Mi, etc), seafood, etc. Also close by are many old houses and associations which are interesting.

The Historic Hotel is well located for all central old town Hoi An shops and restaurants. The staff were amazing and would help in any way. The pool was warm and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included a large variety of both Western and Asian hot and cold dishes. We were two couples without children. We would recommend this hotel to others.

You cannot beat this hotel for location and value. The ancient city is across the street. Makes it so nice. One watch out. The bath tub can be hard to get in and out of if you are short and clearly if you are elderly. You might want a shower room instead of a tub.

The service is superb. The receptionist speak good English. They will tell you where to go and what time. Although the hotel is not very very big, the staff will drive you from the main hall to your block. And they waited for us outside the door to drive us to checkout on the next day. What a surprise! The room is beautiful and nostalgic. There’s a balcony overlooking the garden and a bit of the pool. Very nice! Breakfast is good. Restaurant staff are nice too. The hotel is close to the ancient town, just around 5 min walk. It’s so much crowded than I expected!

Great hotel and fantastic location. Breakfast was lovely with egg and pancake station. Rooms were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. My only negative comment would be the pool is very warm and needs to be a little cooler for a nice refreshing swim and cool down. The weather was very hot and humid during our stay.

The location on edge of town, suited us (although no river/beach views). Grounds were big enough and beautifully kept for it to feel resort like. Pool was large & spacious with plenty of sunbeds & chairs. No shade over pool though if you have very young children. Rooms were lovely, spacious & well appointed with large walk in shower. We didn't have a bath though. Breakfast was good. The staff were pleasant & friendly. All in all no complaints.

Met up with family & friends for a few days and a few days on my own. A great relaxed resort. Housekeeping was fantastic. Breakfast included in the tariff was excellent, wide range of foods and attentive staff. Location is central and an easy walk to all points of local interest. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again. Good value for money and very relaxing.
