Friendly ane Professional.”
We were early for the check-in but the staff looked after our bags until we were able to get back and book in later. All was well but I wish the hotel would remember that not all customers are on expense accounts and moderate their prices: particularly the mark-up on the wine! All-in-all, though, a very pleasant stay with an excellent breakfast.

Clean and quiet”
Booked in on a Sunday evening, checking in was swift and uncomplicated. The room was easy to find and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Some good restaurants were with ten minutes walk and plenty of TV channels on the TV. Free wireless was fast and constant. Check out was swift and I crossed the road and got the bus to the airport. All very good.

Exceptional”
Was easy to locate but the car park was interesting to find amongst the road works. Good value for money and decent sized rooms - bathroom was clean and tidy but the shower isn’t the best but fine the job. Central location if travelling by train and easy access to amenities on foot - just a short walk to waterfront or cabbot circus

Handy location right opposite Temple Meads Station.”
Very quick check-in process and pleasant staff at Reception and Housekeeping. Attractive furnishings in the room and comfortable bed. Only negative thing is the noisy roadworks outside in the street. Also, constant sirens wailing from ambulances, etc, passing by en-route to Bedminster.

best location”
I have stayed in different HIE around the world and this one is the best one yet so far. Upon check-in the staff was already very accommodating and receptive to my situation. Although there were a lot of COVID protocols inplace, the staf was still very warm and attentive. Best location if you want to get around Bristol as the bus (8)from right across the hotel on Temple Meads station goes around the city centre and then takes you to Clifton. i will definitely stay here again if going back to Bristol and would recommend to friend visiting as well.

Great location - parking expensive ”
Awesome location just across the road from Temple Meads station - clean hotel with decent facilities; comfy bed; I found the staff slightly abrupt and not very understanding; i.e. Do not stretch beyond thier roles ... Breakfast is basic but good for on the go... Limited vegi options on the cooked aide but you won't starve .. Room was clean and comfortable

It’s not central to bars and city hub but only 20 mins walk to harbour and bars restaurants area. Nice quiet hotel with lovely staff, room on 5th floor to the rear was quiet. Would stay again.

central location, reasonable price.”
This was rather a functional one night stop over in Bristol and the hotel matched our needs. The hotel is directly across from Temple Meads railway station so very easy to find. Check in was very easy and the front desk staff were polite and efficient. The rooms are clean and tidy and perfectly adequate for one night stop. The price was good value for a city centre hotel. Breakfast was rather basic but enough for our needs. There is a secure car park behind the hotel at a cost of £6 for overnight. All in all pretty happy with hotel.

A good place to stay with easy access to the rail station and about 10 minutes walk from city centre. Standard Holiday Inn fare

Really too standard - just for one night”
first time i did stay in an express holiday inn. it is really too much standard including the reception and the welcome you receive. there is nothing to say. yes rooms are comfortable, clean ... but that is the minimum you can expect in a hotel and there is no personnalization at all. wifi is not free as well as parking. so for the internet you have to subscribe a 24 hours voucher with swiss.com for more than 11 pounds. i dont find it acceptable especially when some hotels chains have understood they should provide it for free (best western). breakfast is also very much standard and reduced to the minimum. seems like they have forgotten to buy the food or just bought the minimum and the cheapest.
