Cosy and natural”
The hostel gives cosy and natural impression. Thanks to white walls and spacious interior layout, the facility is capable of lots of fresh sun lights. The cute hostel perfectly fits the nostalgic neighborhood with breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji along the street. I cannot fail to mention convenience to visit many good places to eat and drink nearby. Please have a pleasant time there.

Cosy stay”
We enjoyed our stay at this cosy little hostel a lot. The neighbourhood is quiet with nice eateries (had dinner at a very nice izakaya just across the street). Best suitable to travellers who would like to enjoy the Mt Fuji area while avoiding the over-crowded and touristy Kawaguchiko area!!!

A great place for detoxes ”
The neigborhood is calm and pease, recommend to have cars with the trip. the space is very well design and clean. staff are nice and helpful, need more english material for info around. also not recommend for a rush schedule. Slow life style. Share bathroom like that is totally acceptable.

Good for those travelling with car”
It is located at the beautiful street somewhere not far from lake kawaguchi where you can see mount fuji and have a good picture on the street. There is a free parking on premise, however it's not easy to get in if your car is too big. We love about the design (muji kind of style) and will definitely want to come here again!

Nice place and well-designed hostel to stay.”
Love the design of this hostel. Very unique and clean. Nice for budget traveller but may not work if you have small children or older parents. We stayed in the 2nd floor and a bit difficult to my mom to go downstair to go to the toilet during the night. Anyway, overall was great and clean and nice hostel to stay. Oh, another misunderstanding is this hostel is in a small town next to Kawaguchiko, so you have to ride the train for 10 mins from Kawaguchiko and walk for another 10 mins to get there. Not a convenient choice but the smaller town is also charming to see and explore.

Wonderful cozy and friendly accommodation ”
My stay here was fantastic. The building is new and the sort of mix of traditional Japanese and Scandinavian modernism that Japanese (and I) adore. The room was a quiet and comfy tantami mat and futon room. The common area is nice, and the staff were great. Between the staff and a couple of their friends that swung by I had more exposure to local people than at any other point in my trip. The common area is also great for meeting fellow travelers. All in all it was my favorite accommodation in Japan so far. Highly recommend.

one of the best places i stayed in japan. the owner is a fantastic person. he was very knowledgeable about his city n was very helpful. recommended places to eat drink n party. i stayed here as i wanted to go to chureito pagoda in the morning. its a short walk to the pagoda. felt very comfortable staying here. would def stay here again if i am in the area.

Cozy convenient relaxing unique”
Had a lovely stay at hostel Suruya, it is tastefully decorated in traditional tatami style made for a relaxing experience. 8ish min walk to the train station and close to many good food places. The facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. It has shared common space but was quiet. They have bikes you can rent 500 yen for the day, but some may need some servicing as the tires were quite flat and made it difficult to use. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

Very close to Chureito Pagado. Easy to get to. Located just next to the famous Fujiyoshida photography spot. In terms of comfort, this is really excellent. Nice interior. Great comfort. Definitely will stay here again.

Best hostel i’ve ever visited”
Warm and cozy, japanese home alike, nice staff , clean room and tatami, clean bathroom and share kitchen. Able to see mt fuji once you left the hostel. Around 20mins walk from mt fuji station. Nice cafes nearby. Highly recommended if you don’t mind walking a bit! Or rent a bike if you want to!

内装は素敵、また泊まりに行きます！”
手作りインテリアはとても素敵、いい宿と思います。チェックインの時間の変更が知らずに予約しちゃて対応してくれてありがとうございます。スタッフ(ヘルパー？)はちょっと訓練が足りない、説明は不足だったの気がする。今回泊まった別館個室とてもお気に入り、ただ夜の時間は母屋のスペースが使えずというルールはちょっと残念だった。あと、清掃面も気をつけないと、部屋に髪の毛と剥がされたコンタクトがそのまま残された。
