Hostel was very nice located and very clean. The personnel staff were very helpful and reliable. I really enjoyed my stay. My friends were also very happy. For one night it was worth the price. It was really cheap. Highly recommended!

There was no staff when I arrived. It was in the evening but not super late. They had left a key to my room. The next day I had to go by the office 5 times until I found someone. The towel they provided smelled strongly of sweat. At first I thought it was the room, but figured out it was the towel. The whole room stank because of it. WiFi does not reach all rooms, so it was basically non existent. My first morning the water was turned off completely, for some reason. Easy to find it you can read a little Japanese, otherwise probably not so obvious where it is.

Exceptional”
I went on a trip alone this summer and stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The owner of the hostel was very nice and kind. The hostel was also very clean and it was located right in front of famous places in Okinawa. I really hope to go travel again. For sure, I will definately visit this hostel again!

Great house with warm staff n owner”
location is OK for me, just 5-7mins walk from the main street, but it's a little too quiet when back to the house at night. the room there's great, very japanese home lifestyle and suitable for a family to use. place is clean, facilities all very ok. The old lady staff who is working there is very helpful and nice, although she cant speak eng. the owner is hospitable too, he is from taiwan n can speak mandarin. the bar which just downstairs of the house is awesome too(like a tree house), the owner there is very nice n talkative. I must definitely live in this house again when visit Okinawa

Suspicious over booking”
I was managed to move to another "Home-stay" grade place for the first "THREE" nights, which of the place named "新惠荘" and is totally out match of my expectation, compares with Hostels Hakuseisou. Also, I need to move from 新惠荘 to Hostels Hakuseisou on my own and no one manage to take care of. In fact, there is not a good but memorable trip...

Good value for short stay”
It's really in a low price. The host is nice and can speak enough English. The room is big enough for one person. Air conditioner requires extra fee but there is a fan. I feel everything is in free style, check-in and check-out. For cleanness, it's basically acceptable. Honestly, for short stay it's really fine.

It was completely fine. Basic, but respectable, and cheap (which is hard to find on the island!). The only thing was that it was hard to find! We had to ask for directions. It would be helpful to have a sign in English, pointing to where the desk is on the 3rd floor.

Nothing can compare to the photos. Also it should let us know the bathroom and toilet is share so we can chose b4 we go. Very old, very Dusty, it like a bed room flat to falt not a hotel or Hostel and u need to pay for Air-conditioning 100 yen per 2hours all those things should tell us before. Communication not good Basically is for local people or u need to speak Japanese. The only things is good is the price and location.

great experience with the local host, i love the small restaurants they recommended instead of the expensive restaurant which full of tourists. and if you don't know where to go, they'd give the best suggestion, very helpful host.

Cheap ”
The address printed on our reservation was incorrect. We used website to find it, it was empty. After half an hour we rang a cellphone number written obscurely on the wall. The man was rude and grumpy. Once he arrived he unapologetically informed us agoda had made a mistake and the room was twice as much as we thought. We had to pay instantly or leave. We later met the lady who presumably does all the work and was lovely. The room was fine however attached to main office so we had to use receptions bathroom and listen to doorbells and phone ringing and people knocking on our door often looking for staff.
