An Absolute Gem in Lake Kawaguchigo”
From the pick up at Kawaguchigo station, to the check-in, meal times (dinner & breakfast) and departure back to the station, the experience has been nothing short of awesome. It is a small charming outfit, everyone's extremely courteous and friendly. Rooms are neat, clean and big enough for our family of 4. Great view of Mt Fuji from room as well as the onsen on Level 4 (onsen's is very clean too). Dinner and breakfast sets were of a generous portion and very yummy. Bus stop no. 11 (red line) is right outside the hotel, as well as a nice little restaurant. Definitely recommend it anyone who plans to stay a night or two (or more)!

Great way to spend New Year's Eve”
Only stayed here 1 night (New Year's Eve, also my wife's birthday), but it made for an exceptionally pleasant experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen was a nice touch, even though they were public and we had to separate by gender. The location was great as well... walking distance (~12 minutes) to the Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, a gondola that takes you up to a spot with several amazing views of Fuji-san. We lucked out with the weather... the pictures were amazing! They were also able to shuttle us to other sites around town that were further away, and gave us a ride to and from the train station in town. Best part were the meals - a truly delicious kaiseke dinner and breakfast that featured a special New Year's menu. Really excellent food all around, and left us both full and satisfied... and as my wife is a frequent traveler to Japan, and a trained chef, she was quite pleased with the quality and skill exhibited in our meals. Truly a wonderful birthday!

Great value of mountain-view room, great location, great staff, great food, ”
Choose mountain-view room allows you to see 1/3 of Mt. Fuji in the clear day. Passionate staffs provide warm, personal, multilingual service (Japanese/English/Chinese). It’s a small hotel with under 20 rooms so it feels cozy and personal. Recommend to book with dinner and breakfast as the food is great and you can enjoy the hot spring bath with Mt. Fuji view before and after dinner & breakfast :-)

Great stay with wonderful staff”
The lady at the front desk was so kind and lovely, gave me a warm welcome and served me tea and sweets upon arrival. Free shuttle to/from the station and they even offered to drive me to Fuji-Q Highland. Their onsen has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Highly recommended.

Impressive Japanese onsen hotel service as always. Food was really nice too. If you prefer small and cozy places rather than larger (and more crowded) ones on the main streets, this is your choice. We loved it.

great service ”
We are very well taken care of the entire time. The staff kindly reminded us abt arrival time well before we arrived so we can plan our trip accordingly. Thanks to the staff reminder we arrived early in Kawaguchiko on the day the weather was wonderful and saw the Mount Fuji. The following day had been raining nonstop and can’t see Mount Fuji. The staff was very nice and accommodative and introduce things to us carefully. The candy in the pick up car is so cute . Onsen is a bit small and indoor. So it can get a bit stuffy but facility is good.

Nice and Small Japanese style hotel ”
First time for staying at Japanese style hotel. Small hotel but very nice. Easy to access by using redline bus. Recommend to anyone who prefer quiet atmosphere and simple style.

An almost perfect experience, a relatively small onsen which fits fine for 5 people or less. Looking for a milk vending machine for an after-onsen enjoyment. Excellent service in customer relationship.

Great friendly staff but food was not great”
The staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. Always had a smile on their face and was very nice to me and my 2 year old son playing with him. The hotel was very clean and the onsen was very nice overlooking Lake Kawaguchiko and the mountains around it. However Mt Fuji is on the far left and is partially covered by another mountain in front of it. You can still get a view but do not expect the full Mt Fuji experience. It is an easy 10 Mins walk down the road and you get to see Fuji-san and all of its glory Also another let down was the food at this hotel. Food was not great and would suggest to eating out if you are deciding getting the full breakfast and dinner package. Overall 4 stars from our experience. Biggest let down was the food.

A relatively small and yet very cozy hotel, where the hotel staffs are extremely friendly and made you felt you were like home. Fast in responding to messages and send gentle reminder before and on the day of arrival to make sure I manage to get the necessary guidance in order for the hotel shuttle bus. They also have Chinese speaking staffs who can assist in better communicating when need arise.

The owner and staff are helpful and friendly. They offered good advice on “must go” destinations in Lake Kawaguchiko area. The hot spring and meals in the hotel are very good.
