Great location to Ueno and Asakusa”

We loved the setup of the hotel - showers, beds, rooms - accommodated plenty of people but never felt like you had to wait or that anyone else was smothering you. For the price, it was perfect for us and allowed my partner and I to stay in top and bottom capsules.

Outstanding hostel! ”

I HIGHLY recommend this hostel if you're planning on visiting Tokyo. It is located in a residential area which is really nice because you get a sense of how locals live, but you're still super close to the train stations (5 min walk). The facility is so clean and elegant, the common area is gorgeous, the beds are quite sound blocking for it being closed by a curtain, and the washrooms & showers are always super clean! My only complaint is that the people staying in this hostel will take/move your stuff (not rare for hostels), so always keep everything locked up! Other than that, I would most definitely come back if I'm ever in Tokyo again!!

Comfortable and very clean hostel”

The place is as clean as a luxury hotel, the staff is very helpful, and Asakusa neighborhood is a calm and charming neighborhood. You have way more privacy than in most hostels (but you can get to meet people if you want to). I particularly enjoyed the bathrooms which were both clean and modern. The private room is small but well laid out so it's not bothering at all. Probably the best hostel I stayed in, I recommend it.

Exceptional”

It's a rather high tech place; checking in and out is done via an automated machine. There were ample showers and toilet cubicles. It also feels like the staff regularly maintained these facilities to keep it clean. Love the capsule beds too since it helped to reduce some noise. Only downside is that the thickness of my luggage couldn't fit the bottom storage space. Fortunately, I have the corner unit so it isn't so bad.

Good location, quiet and clean w/ elevator”

It's 650m away from Asakusa metro station & 170m away from Kuramae Toei station. You can walk to Sensoji Temple from here and the skytree can also be seen from here. The rooms and shower room are clean but limited space. We booked in a double room w/ free towels. Toiletries already provided. If you have large luggages, you'll need to leave it downstairs since the space for double room is small. No toilet inside but has own sink. Payment here is through a machine.

Excellent”

I am good with everything here. Staffs are friendly. Bed is good. But there is something should be mentioned. You can see there is a bathtub from this hostel pages. That bathroom minimum charge JPY1000 for 1 person for an hour. Extra another person JPY500 each. Bathroom is clean, but the water is not HOT enough, just warm. And price not included in towel. It’s expensive than lots of Japanese bath.

Great area to stay in, nice hostel but is small and crowded”

It’s about a 20 min walk to a JR stations for JR Pass holders but there is a closer station (3 min walk) on a different line. We really enjoyed this area. The hostel was good enough... just make sure to pack light because there is not space for much baggage. There is a common area and “kitchen” but it’s shared with 3 floors of guests and is very crowded. 20 people are crammed in one room but you have a little curtain for your own “pod” for privacy... and it is Tokyo, right?

Good hotel! But from Senshoji temple it’s too far to walk. ”

Good location near Kuramae station with elevator access. Good and clean hotel. But it only gives you hot water to drink no normal water so you have to buy water by yourself. If you want to go to Asakusa (Kaminarimon gate, Nakamise street, Senshoji temple) it’s so far to walk. But if you go by subway, you have to go to Asakusa line first and it’s too far also walk from hotel.

Nice comfy hostel with very friendly staff”

+ Staff are very friendly. They even offered to print out my voucher for free. We stayed there during new year night and they have soba, sake, and mochi as japanese traditional new year meals for guests. All free. (+) Facilities are very new. Modern design. (+) Short walk from the nearest metro. (-) Our room which is a double is very small. The bed is also smaller than ordinaru double bed. Room is also not noise protection. It was quite loud when other guests close and open their doors. (-) Maybe it s because of new year and we were late for booking. But our price was over 150 USD per night and it's totally not worth the pay. Would be a great budget place to stay for less than 50 USD imo.

Would not suggest staying here - every traveller is different but I expected better facilities for the price we were paying. Stayed 6 nights, the front lobby is the ONLY communal area, the kitchen is basic as you can get, the staff are very reserved and don't really communicate with the guests. Yes the place is clean and the location is fairly decent, would only stay here one night.

Good location really close to the subway station, not far from Asakusa bridge. small double room but almost like a hotel room, except for the toilet and shower you have to go to another floor, everything is super clean, the common room is a little bit small and located in the lobby so doesn't feel so cozy, but definitely worth the price for such a good location in Tokyo.

Ok for a night stay”

Photos of bathroom with tub and spaces in the dorm rooms are kind of misleading. The bath tub is not free and needed reservation. The bunk room spaces we stayed, was on first floor and full of people in common area, luggages were in the hallway inside the room behind the door, very limited space to move around. Like other reviews, the door open and close sound are quite loud unlike other hostel we stayed. Check in process also a bit longer than usual because no only they photographed our passports, they also asked us to fill in “required “ information such as home address and phone numbers on their iPad devices.
