Our overall experience of staying in Hotel L Odeon from 08 - 13 November 2019, was indeed excellent by any standards. Being in District 7, it is an oasis of serenity and calm away from the hustle bustle, noise and pollution of the far more hyped and touristy District 1, which is a bare 20 odd minutes away by easily available taxis. Further, it is ideally located with numerous bars and good eating places in close proximity, which makes it extremely convenient. It is immaculately maintained, spotlessly clean and the complete Staff is extremely responsive. The Breakfast on offer is extremely good. The icing on the cake are Mr John Lek with his happy and ever smiling countenance as also, his exceedingly charming wife, Diana. Having stayed in many establishments the World over, it was truly a delight staying in Hotel L Odeon with my Vietnamese girlfriend. Despite being classified as a 3 Star category, it really deserves a a 4 Star rating.

Fuss-free clean hotel with friendly staff”
Hotel was in a quiet peaceful korean expat area. Near to D7 offices where my meetings were being held. SC vivocity 7 min walk away, convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel area. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent. Don't expect too much for breakfast though, buffet spread is enough for me but may not be for others. You can also choose 1 alacarte dish per person from their breakfast menu to complement the buffet spread.

This is the second times I stay here. The room is nice with France style décor, clean and cozy. Breakfast was tasty with buffet and Alacart. Staff was kinds n nice. I always feel comfortable when stay here. Everything I need just walking distance likes shopping mall, restaurant, bar, beer club,,, Tips: The balcony room is the best choice for couple or smoker.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times when I visited Ho Chi Minh. First of all, there are convenient facilities such as restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Delightful and unique space”
This hotel has a distinctly French Vietnamese feel despite being quite new. It's tastefully decorated, beautifully clean with very responsive and helpful staff. It's in a wide tree lined street in a part of Ho Chi Minh that has lots of Koreans. So lots of Korean restaurants. But also walking distance to a mall and surrounded by little shops. Breakfast is a quality mixture of hot food and lovely sweets. Because it is a boutique hotel, the breakfast is peaceful. Rather than the bustle and choice of the big hotels but more to my taste. My only mild gripe is that plumbing is not fantastically insulated so mornings the sound of showers being used is a constant. John and Diana are wonderful hosts and I will definitely make this my resting space whenever in hcmc.

Hotel was located in a very quaint neighbourhood. The location was close to SECC and it was great to avoid the traffic jam. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean. Many thanks to John for the kind hospitality and the detailed direction to go to local market. Hopping on local bus experience was big fun.
