Friendly staff and cute elderly cute ”
My stay was a good one . Check in was smooth and fast . Hotel was really near Asakusa Tsukuba Station . Tawaramachi Station is abit further behind , but still you get to enjoy the walk there . Room was big . Huge bathroom and another standard Japanese toilet size . They provide microwave oven and hot water beside the reception at level 1. Around the area , there is a 24 Hour Don Quixote ( recommended ) and a 24 Hour Supermarket inside Roxa ( good place to get bento ) . However you'll still be spoilt for choice as the hotel is surrounded by a lot of food choices . P.s Be careful not to take the Asakusa Toei Line , it's another Station , and Asakusa Tsubuka is only 2 station away from Akiba . As for the staff , they were really friendly . All of them were elderlies , but they did their best to help you and they have a elderly cat call Buchi that roams around the hotel . She's really friendly and love getting pet . One more thing , do visit the The Forest of Owl nearby the Don Quixote . They rescue animals from previous owners and closed down pet cafes and you get to pet Owls , Capybara and alot more . So overall this place is really well-situated. Will definitely recommend people to stay there , but this is an old hotel that has been renovated , so you'll get to see some old design and new design mixed together . Sensoji Temple is a walkable distance away .

Nice location, great staffs”
The place is clean and the staffs are so friendly, I had some request to use their the vacuum cleaner to get rid of the air inside of the vacuum bag to pack my luggage and back to my country. My bag isn't very fit my clothes, but they helped me till it done. The cleaner tried to find if he has other bags that fit more with the amount of my clothes. All staffs, they may not so fluent in English but they try their best to communicate and I always get what I request from them. You can also leave your baggage with them after you check out. Room and facilities are great, location is so close to the subway and I love Buchi<3. I would come back to stay here next time I travel to Japan. :))

One of best hotel in asakusa area !”
Its quite hard to find nice place after our flight was rescheduled, the previous hotel we booked was full for our date so we stumbled on this hotel. After read some review, we decided to book it & gladly it’s a perfect place for us. The staff are elderly but they are nice & let us keep the luggage after check out. You need to give them the key everytime you left. There’s a tap water for drink in the room, hairdryer, bath tub in bathroom, feel free to let them to clean the room by hanging the tag in front of door, size of room is good, location is perfect because in the are you can find so many place you need to visit such as good restaurant like ichiran, yoshinoya, coco ichibanya, ippudo, tendon tenya, also good place to buy souvenir like donQ open 24 hours, daiso, 7-11, family mart, lawson & also sensoji temple ! I love the neighboorhood :) it’s really recommended hotel~

Clean and homely hotel ”
Had a pleasant stay, the beds and pillows are wonderful. The room and bathroom was spacious. Although it is an old hotel, it is well kept and clean. Appreciate the house-keeping staff, accidentally left my wallet behind during the day we decided to tidy the room, we came back to a neat room with my wallet untouched.

Great value for money”
Pros: Great bathroom - very large, fridge in room, friendly staff, room cleaned well daily, close to train stations. Cons: No kettle or microwave in room - this was in reception though, no widows in room, you have to hand your room key in to reception if you go out.

CONVENIENCE....”
This place is near some of the famous tourist spots in Japan. You can reach Sensoji Temple and Nakamise by foot. A great view of Tokyo Tower. Near shopping spots like Donki Asakusa and Rox. Street food and Restaurant accross the street. Nearby convenience store such as Lawson, 711 and family mart. Most of all it is near the Tamawarachi Subway station where you can start roaming around Tokyo....

Strategic location with affordable price”
If you're wondering where to stay in Tokyo, Asakusa is definitely on the go! Really recommended as it is a lovely neighborhood! There are shopping arcade, malls, shrine, tokyo skytree, a bunch of mouthwatering restaurants/snackstalls, and transport hub. The hotel is located just a little across Asakusa city center and shopping arcade, it's also walkable from metro station (less than 10mins walk from nearby metro). Friendly staff tho don't speak english. The hotel itself is quite an old one but maintained well! It's clean, spacey (compared to other accomm in Tokyo), and has almost all facility you probably need. Except..clothes and towel hanger in the bathroom. The bathroom is a bit too dark and looking a little traditional (there's a little chair and a basin). Other than that, this hotel is much value for money!

Great hotel!”
I've stayed in both the Double and Twin rooms at this hotel. The rooms here are MUCH bigger than the average hotel room in Tokyo. Both of the rooms I stayed in had "Japanese style bathrooms", which I like very much. The bathrooms in this hotel are huge - bigger than some of the Tokyo hotels I've stayed in. There is a microwave and electric kettle on the first floor, and one of my rooms (I forgot which) had a microwave in the room itself. The one downside of this hotel is that there is no coin laundry within the hotel. To do laundry, you would need to walk about 5-8 minutes to a coin laundry nearby. Location wise, this hotel is great. There are two stations (Tokyo Metro and Tsukuba Express) within a 10 minute walk. It is also close to multiple convenience stores, restaurants, a 24 hour supermarket, Asakusa ROX, and a huge shopping street. The Kappabashi Kitchen Street is right behind the hotel and there is a coin laundry within an 8 minute walk.

spacious double-bed room with convenient location”
large double-bed room with extremely spacious bathroom, perfect location with several subway crossings nearby. Located in the Senjo-ji community, there are lots of restaurants and 24-hour convenience store nearby. Appreciate for the hotel staff-two old friendly and helpful grandpa and manager. Will stay again next time travel in Tokyo.

Not Bad”
People could pay a decent price for a bigger room in this hotel than others. The staffs in this hotel were nice and friendly, and they also provided a very good housekeeping every day to clean and replace anythings that had been used. The hotel's position is very convenient for foreign visitors to pay a visit in Kaminarimon even in the midnight.

Another room that I booked.”
I booked 2 rooms for 5 of us, parents & 3 children. As I previously review, this hotel really good place not only the hotel itself but also the neighboorhood. Love strolling around the hotel just by walk~ not forget to mention it’s also near sumida river with its tokyo skytree view & the station for train. Such as tawaramachi station & asakusa station. Also you can simply ride the train from asakusa station to haneda airport without change the train / line.. nice !

Value for money...”
Both the 2 twin-rooms that we stayed in recently are, by Tokyo standard, very spacious. Similarly too, is the ensuite bathroom. The room I was in is quite clean and comfy albeit a little aged. Furnishing-wise, it is bare minimum - apart from the twin bed, small fridge & TV, there are only 1 small table and a equally compact wardrobe. There are even no provisions to hang the bath and hand towels. The hotel is conveniently located within short walking distance of both Asakusa Tsukuba Station & Tawaramachi Station. Shin (New) Nakamise Shopping Street is just around the corner, and at the intersection of Shin Nakamise Shopping Street & Nakamise Shopping Street, one can get access to Sensoji Temple.
