Very clean and nice ”

When reading the review I wasn't so sure what to expect. But I saw that they recently renovated and the price was too good to not chance it. So I did and SO GLAD!! :) Thanks everyone at Sunroute! Fyi: room is small by North American size but I am not in NA. I am in Japan;) Also, I am not a very big person and packed a medium luggage and carry on.

Great location - renovated rooms”

The hotel is undergoing upgrading we managed to stay at a newly renovated room on the last leg of our travel. No complains, location is excellent and Tawaramachi station just nearby (walking distance to the elevators of the stations too). Plenty of food and Asakusa just around the corner. Great place to stay.

newly renovated hotel near Asakusa”

Second time staying here and still love the location which is near Asakusa. Easy to get to the train station Tawaramachi (with elevators), to and fro airport was manageable with trolley luggage. The newly updated rooms were also beautiful. plenty of food & restaurants around, 7-11 next to hotel, and kitchen street just a few streets away within walking distance.

Just down the street from Kaminarimon Gate, Sensoji Temple. Many great restaurants nearby. Taste and enjoy the old Edo culture. I love it!

Closed to Tawaramachi underground station ”

It’s a convenient hotel to travel around Asakusa. The nearest underground station Tawaramachi is on GINZA line so it’s convenient for going shopping in GINZA. The room was renovated and clean. Not so many brochures were on the desk, which was good. The air-conditioning was central-controlled. But it was no big deal. Luckily I saw Sky Tree out of the window!

Pleasant stay at a reasonable price”

Excellent local transport, very good restaurants in the vicinity, and a clean comfortable room at a good price

At reasonable costs you get a good, clean room, not very large, but also not too small. The hotel is very close to the Asakusa temple with excellent shopping and many good restaurants, including a great 24 hour Sushi place(Sushizanmae). Even if you arrive very late you are not going to be hungry. Also the restaurant in the hotel (Jonathans) is open 24 hours. The transfer from Narita airport is fast with the Skyliner to Ueno and a 2-stop subway ride (Tawaramachi on the Ginza line), or a short ride by taxi (about 800 yen). There is even a Tsukuba Express station 2 minutes away. The easy connections make a business stay very efficient, and the bars and restaurants close by make it even quite pleasant

Good location!
A little boring

The hotel is easily accessible from Ueno station for people coming from or going to Narita Airport. The hotel is a standard business hotel with nice clean rooms. The location in Asakusa is good for sightseeing and has plenty of good restaurants in the area. The staff spoken some English and were very helpful when we asked for their advices.
