Nice pool and good breakfast”
When I reserved this hotel for 9 of us - they had airport shuttle. Imagine my terror when 9 of us including 3 kids arrived at the airport and called the hotel - we were told No airport shuttle. I was very very mad I was not told this ahead of time.

I got this place for the amenities and location and value. Every single goes piece of gym equipment was broken and no access to pool or jacuzzi. :/.

Basics”
The location of the hotel was great, free parking was available unless you got to or returned to the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. The free breakfast was a grab and go style. Muffins, granola bars, tea, coffee. No hotel shuttle, pool or room service due to covid. My visit was a weekend visit to party so it was good enough but if you need anymore that the basics, look elsewhere.

I would not recommend this hotel”
I did pre-paid full amount prior arriving date and I gave them noticed in advance by email that I would like to have late check in due to my flight schedule. Before I fly to I called them again , what they said was no room available for us… really bad operation!!!! When I got to MIA airport I’ve been waiting for a shuttle for a while but seems like there is no shuttle then I called them and what they said was shuttle was broken down! After I got to the hotel by Uber there was no reception ( even they said 24 hrs reception), I’ve to call and wait for awhile till some people come, well…they should know that we will get there soon since we just called about the shuttle. I would totally not recommend this hotel to anyone.

One night stay”
I had a couple of issues for my own style and safety. 1. I don’t like pictures hanging over my bed,especially big ones. Possible accident waiting to happen. 2. The metal frame that hold the bed had a sharp edge the scratch my ankle. No blood, I did inform on checking out. Hilton honors member and no blood , so no lawsuit. Apart from that nice hotel.

You get what you pay for”
This is one of the cheapest hotels near MIA, so don't expect any lavishness. I was on a tight budget, so was happy to get this hotel almost last minute. It took over an hour to check me in as the room key kept discharging and the front desk girl was incompetent and uninterested in the job, so couldn't properly help me. Also the area around is horrible and unsafe. One good thing about the hotel is the garden/pool area, which has stone walls around it. Since I wasn't expecting much, this worked for me. If you do, you'll need to consider some other place further from Doral.

Definitely need more staff at the front desk, the poor lady Shirley did great but it was like 5 people waiting in line for longtime. Room was medium clean but not great. Location is good. Windows are really dirty. Elevator definitely needs to be replaced too old.

Great location, rooms not so good”
We stayed 4days here. The first day we arrived at midnight, room was hot! And outdated! I thought it needed to cool off!! It never did. Put a complaint the next morning!! Came back at midnight again! Still hot! They didn't have a double for my family at that time. We were moved to one with a king sized bed!! 2 big kids and 2 adults) following morning everything hurt… they told me to stay around until around 11am to get a double that the AC was good! Lost my precious time. Got a new room!! Hot as Miami summer as well! Decided to stay in the one with king sized… better than to stay in a hot room! “Continental breakfast” was pure pure sugary stuff, no protein except for hard boiled eggs and ppl on too of you trying to make a line for waffles!! Literally on top of you!! (I had two women breathing on my neck waiting for me to finish 4 waffles) The 6th floor was being remodeled (thats were I was staying) so there was plenty of constructions materials and workers on the hallways.. On a positive note! Staff is super super friendly!! I wont go back there!!
