Great value for money near the center”
Very good location and a great value for money. I wanted to book another hotel nearby but as it was full I went with Lotus and I am very happy I did. The staff were very kind and flexible, allowed me to adjust a few things even during the stay. I'll return for sure.

Staff were very helpful and knew what they had to do. Nice and quiet rooms Covid has forced restaurant and bar to close due to lack of guests. Pool was open On a main road so plenty of room for taxi to park for drop off and pick Around 10 mins to district 1

2 nights Lotus Saigon Hotel”
Booked the Lotus Saigon Hotel as it came up on Google Maps as being pretty close to the Royal Thai Embassy where i needed to go for a Visa for Thailand Booked the Hotel on Agoda, Mid Price range i guess, but was interested in its location rather than anything else, whilst booking the hotel i took advantage of the Taxi from Airport to Hotel offer at $18 Took the evening flight from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh, try and book a seat near the front so you can get to the immigration booths before the lines get huge :) With a UK Passport did not need any Visa, so straight through quickly, as promised on the Taxi booking as soon as we exited the terminal there was a name board showing for me, made my way across and they brought my taxi to me within 5 minutes Made our way through the evening traffic (chaos) to the Hotel, maybe 30 minutes As the booking was prepaid all they wanted to see was the credit card used, we were booked in really quickly, given our room key and breakfast vouchers

Staff is welcoming and professional. The outside pool area is nice. Hotel is outdated, but well taken care of. However, impossible to get a good night's sleep. Hotel located on a very busy road and windows don't keep out the noise at all (I'm usually fine with city street noise, but this was a lot) In addition, could hear all of our neighbours' conversations (though they were speaking at a normal volume). On top of that, can't really relax during day, as construction work (including drilling) began early in the morning.

I booked the executive suite and it's on the 9th floor yet we can hear the traffic loudly, not just hearing it, it was very loud as if the traffic is right outside our windows with the windows open but our windows were closed. The hotel is located on the transport route so from 10 PM to 5 AM you can hear transport trucks roaring by all night. TV doesn't work, the engineer from the hotel spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why the TV doesn't work then left and never returned. There is nothing within walking distant to this hotel. The worst is front desk staff, they were very unaccommodating. This hotel is a typical Vietnam owned and operated. If you book this hotel on Agoda and paid, this hotel already got your money and will not provide any service to you. By far this is the worst hotel in Ho Chi Minh city that I've ever stayed in. We left this hotel after one night even though we booked for two nights due to unaccommodating front desk staff.

Although breakfast was for 2, they refused to give me the second breakfast voucher unless I have another guest registered to stay with me. There is no make up room service unless you turn on the sign. Coffee, tea, shampoo & bath gels are not replenished daily unless requested. The hotel was old and so were the amenities. Bed was very uncomfortable and the blankets were thin. Do not choose the rooms with balcony facing the road because it was very very noisy.

Worst hotel”
Agoda presents this hotel as 4 stars. I think otherwise - it deserves 2 stars at most!!! The room stinks! Carpet smells like Oder! The facility is dark as if you’re staying in a haunted place. The hotel is cheap as they do not turn on the A/C in the facility; it’s humid year round in VN. Taxi access is cutoff at their round about which made it difficult for your taxi to enter and exit. I would not recommend this hotel.

Old and poorly furnished”
Though the room is spacious, it's clear that the hotel is old and has not been furnished to keep up with times. Bathtub is dirty, bathroom door is tilted, tap water smells of rust, wallpaper is tearing apart, etc

I can recomend this hotel to other travellers. However the choice is yours. Remember wifi is hopeless even though it is said in agoda that wifi is available in all room but not true.

Beautiful swimming pool! Cleanup the gasses around the swimming poo! The rooms are clean and old furnitured. TV remote was not working. Nice and beautiful plants on balcony and pool!

The hotel is old but well kept.. my only problems was at first the water is brown, probably due to old plumbing… However the staff was very helpful and friendly, after flushing out for 30-40 min it was almost clear. It took the next day for it to be clear. The bed , the AC and hot water and wifi was fine. The staff upgraded my room to the balcony view.. but it was facing the intersection and was noisier (they provided earplugs thou) The food was mediocre I would expect cheaper price for the facilities provided… The highlight of the stay was that The staff was friendly and very helpful.
