Budget Wise”
This Hotel is recommended for group and family travelers. The rooms are not really big but it can fit 4 to 5 persons in one room with double deck bed. I tried to find some other hotels nearby but all available rooms were couple rooms only. Luckily, I found this very affordable and has family rooms here in Agoda. I got 3 rooms good for 5 persons and the receptionist gave me a discount aside from discounted price I got here in Agoda while I'm booking. I recommend this for not really choosy travelers.

I needed a low-cost place to sleep and shower. This place did the job. It's nothing special -- but I wasn't looking for anything special either. I was very pleased with Makati Budget Hotel because it gave me exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price.

Very good location”
Location is perfect, inside the famous Makati night life but away from the noisy bars/clubs. My friend and I took the 6 bunkbed mix dorm. The bed is okay just the room is too small and they should also put curtains on top bed for a bit of privacy. I saw small lockers under the bed but lock is not provided (not sure if it should be asked to the reception or bring your own lock). Toilet is inside the room so it is very convenient but it doesn't have exhaust fan or window so the smell stays. There is also ongoing issue on shortage of water in Metro Manila but it's good that there are stored water. Staffs are friendly but can practice more professionalism. One cleaning lady seemed to be using the mix dorm toilet to shower, I don't know if it's just because of the water shortage but it is weird. As usual, in PH, hostel doesn't provide free toiletries, towel, etc. Bring your own. Overall it was okay for a night and cheapest in very good location I got.

the place is within the red district of Makati, i arrived at 1pm and the room was not yet ready but i waas able to leave my baggage and they just put the baggage inside my room. its just a short stay but its ok. downside is i didnt notice that its in the third floor and i have so many big luggage with me, so its kinda tiring, but the staff able to help also .

Value for its price”
Location is good and it is indeed a value for your money. Their AC is doing its job as it made the room cool really well to think that we are 5 staying. They also have hot water for shower which is a plus. Downside is that the doorknob for bathroom where we stayed is broken, the light is a bit dim and the blankets/pillows are old and dusty.

I have no complaints regarding the service but my dorm room was incredibly small and the bed a slightly smaller length than standard (I'm 6'5" I should add, anyone under 6'2" would have no such issue). The wifi was ok but did cut in and out, you can rent a towel for 50 peso and as with most places in the Philippines you don't get any toiletries such as soap etc.

The purpose of the advertisement for the Hotel was utilized too much. To the point that the exact expectation of the hotel was sugar coated by the advertisements, photos taken in the facilities and such. But the real thing is, its not what its like in the advertisement thats why I expect too much from the Hotel.

The pillow didn't smell right but I was tired so I just tried to turn it over. And then voilà! There's a pen and a piece of paper underneath. So my suspicion was confirmed.

One of the staff lied about having guests occupying other beds cause she didnt want me to switch bed. Also, she comes in there and chit chat with their long term guests not minding if other guests are sleeping.

The room I was given was in a room before entering the reception area. no security whatsoever. When I went inside it smells like someone is smoking. For the price. I've been to far better hostels. Locker is broken. Didn't even bothered completing my stay since I can't even sleep. Bed is also small.

At Home Feels”
Honestly not expecting much since this is a budget hotel but when we came in, the place is really nice for its size, love the hippy vibe of it and the staffs are really nice and professional. The room is clean when we get there, the sheets and covers smells nice and the bathroom has hot and cold shower. Cons * doesnt provide any toiletries * towels served late so we were not able to use them * no cabinet to hang clothes * no mirror in the room (only the small one in the bathroom) SUGGESTIONS: * The name is Makati Budget Hotel, first of all this is not a hotel but a hostel more of a lodge or apartelle so lets not confuse your customers and clients, also it has a sub name for URBAN MAKATI, that makes it a lot confusing for a customer giving instructions to the cab drivers, I SUGGEST come up to ONE NAME of the hostel so it'd be easy to remember. I didnt notice a big signboard of the hostel in the building itself not on the side part so you might want to invest on that. * Since there is no mirror provided in each rooms I believe, might as well provide a huge one in the lobby or your waiting area. It will make your space bigger too. Overall, it's still a nice place to stay in for a night or two because of its affordability.

Comfortable stay, friendly receptionist”
The hotel is strategically located in makati. There are many nightmarkets and restaurants around the vicinity. Hotel is small but has homey vibe. The rooms have decent size but nothing much to expect as this is a budget hotel with budget price. Everything basic was provided which was fine for us. Theds are comfortable and overall we had a comfortable stay. Staff are also very helpful and friendly.
