Excellent service in the restaurant, our daughter has a nut allergy and was made to feel very safe. Also my other daughter’s burger wasn’t cooked well done enough so they re made her meal and removed it from our bill

Great staff & top notch facilities ”
From check-in to check-out the staff were exceptional. They made you feel like you were at home, no request was too much. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was very nice. The executive lounge was the icing on the cake. I’ve been in many lounges at different Marriott’s but this one was one of the best. Well stocked, plenty of USB ports & outlets. The happy hour food & drinks were delicious and filling. Shuttle to the airport was well run and easy to use.

First checked in was nice and quick, staff were very friendly and polite.got to our room was very clean and set out very well with plenty of room. Great facilities executive lounge, 2 restaurants and a spa. Mentioning the restaurants if you go get time you have to try SAN CARLO food was amazing best lamb and lobster we have had in a long time and the staff with my little girl were fab. Now jus a few cons u have to pay for parking even if your a guest £11 per night, no snacks in mini bar so u had to order room service which carry’s a tray charge of £4, and the shower was close to the wall I felt as if I was licking the wall and last was check you bill on check out as I was charged twice for my parking apart from the few cons it was a nice stay being 20 mins from Warrington and 20 mins from Manchester.. Great Rooms and Services. Room service iffy.”
Enjoyed a night here before a flight, the building and room are really nice (although bit of a maze.) The shuttle is super convenient with great drivers, we ordered room service which was where we were let down really. I called and placed an order, was told after I had to go and deposit some money at check-in from my card which was fair enough, went and did that and then tried to call again. Nobody answered so I tried again on/off for about twenty minutes with no luck. Went back towards check-in and received a text from my wife just as I got there that the meal (which supposedly never went through from the first time) had arrived. Very strange.

Stay for early flight ”
Choose this hotel only for early flight out from Manchester next morning. Our room was too far from entrance, despite requested to change to room nearer to entrance we were told that is the only room available. The room Has 2 comfortable big king size beds.

Nice hotel close to airport”
Traveling with wife and two teens. We had to fly to Manchester late on Sunday night for an early flight back to the USA Monday morning. Hotel was about 10 minute cab ride and 12 pounds cost. It says Marriot Airport but it was just outside. Hotel was nice and what you would expect. We opted for the breakfast which was excellent and just right for a long day of travel ahead. The walk to our room was a bit long with no elevator and down one set of stairs so with full luggage in hand that was a bit of a struggle. Staff were helpful at check in.

A bit disappointed stay”
I have 2 points to state: 1. I don’t know I need to pay for car parking when I made the booking. And no one asked me to pay for car parking when stayed in summer. But last time we booked for breakfast as well. Not sure if it makes the difference? 2. The pillows were not comfortable this time. We didn’t sleep well.

Good hotel ”
We enjoyed our one night stay here before our holiday flight . Staff were polite , friendly and professional. Our room was very nice , clean and modern . We decided not to Use the pool facilities but we have in the past and they are very good . We are in the bar and the meals we had were tasty and served quickly . We have stayed in this hotel four times now , although this time there was a lengthy gap of around twelve years since we last stayed . I would definitely recommend it and stay again next time I fly from Manchester airport .

It's OK, but not so good”
It's OK, but not so good. First, the room is no free wifi, you have to pay for a very high price. Other choice is to join the Marriott membership. The location is not very good, a bit far from the airport, you have to take a bus or a taxi to get there from the airport. And it's not so clear to see the front door of the hotel if you walk there. We have an early flight, so we booked a taxi. We get to the lobby 5 mins before the taxi arrival time. And we waited for 20 mins with no taxi for us. First the staff called the taxi center and told us the taxi has traffic and was on its way. Then they called again and found out that someone else got on our taxi! And they have to call another taxi for us, and it's already 30 mins late. It's a very poor dispatching and conducting service for the taxi company. Although the hotel staff is very friendly, it's not helping. Eventually, we arrived at the airport 50 mins late and we have to rush to the gate. We get there just before the gate was close. After all, it's a good hotel to stay, but if you have an flight to catch, you better be careful with the taxi service.

Noise”
This has got to be one of the noisiest hotels I have been in, we didn’t get a decent nights sleep. I was expecting a little more from the Marriott, but expectations were the same as there sister hotel the Marriott Miri! That is a. Poor hotel to.

Great hotel but inconvenient location”
I just stay for one night awaiting for my next flight early morning next day. The room is large, but a little difficult to approach as they have too many rooms. The restaurant is nice! But the location is not good. I have to take a cab to go to hotel, and of course to go back to the air port. I want to take train to go to Manchester central but thinking of taking cab to Manchester Airport, and then go to station, and then go to central, and vice verse when I want to get back letting me down. So I was just staying there, enjoy food & lounge, chatting with my colleague. Overall, it's nice to stay & relax after a long trip waiting for next flight!

Disappointing reception after a long trip from Australia”
After a little confusion by the hotel, claiming that Agoda had not paid our bill - we had to pay again. After later (3 weeks later) intervention by Agoda the Marriott relented and refunded our Credit Card. Our stay was comfortable and breakfast was good. There is no way you could walk with luggage to this hotel from the Manchester Airport and you need taxis both ways.
