Cheap and close to airport”
It's good to stay here if you have an early flight the next day. The airport is only 10 min away by taxi. Many review say this is in a sketchy neighborhood with no food. The hotel is in Pasay City, a very Filipino part of town. Saying it is sketchy or unsafe is like saying the Philippines is sketchy and unsafe. That's just how things are here. The hostel is on a quiet residential street, but I never felt threatened. Like always in the Philippines, carry a flashlight and walk with purpose. If you walk to the main road, there are a ton of restaurants and a busy night market. I actually think this is an interesting part of town worth exploring. Note that there are no sights, but I thought it was fun to walk around.

Nice for short stays”
We found a cheap, more or less clean, and well located place close to the airport. Good to connect with international flights, the way to the terminal was quite short and almost without traffick

Very brief, about 8 hours, booked just to rest”
Apart from its location, the hostel offers the barest minimum of an accommodation, you have a room to stay (we took a private room) as this place have more dormitory rooms for sharing. Aircon should only be opened from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, since we stayed for the day, we only have to use the fan, thanks to the cool weather at that day. Breakfast was served by a not so happy cook and server, it is self-service but the price is reasonable. Oh, coffee was not available, good thing we have our own. At lunch, we paid for it at the cashier, but there was noone to cook for it, we waited and in the end we have to refund what we paid and had lunch outside on growling stomach. In summary, if you need a place to rest your back, it maybe good for you, just do not trust your meals on them. That way you can avoid the impersonal and do-not care attitude of kitchen staff too. Front desk ppl are better.

Baclaran is a terrible neighborhood”
Baclaran is a terrible neighborhood. The bathroom is filthy, probably due to poor plumbing in Baclaran. The bunkbeds are light, so when either person moves the whole thing shakes. The mattresses and pillows are surprisingly quite comfortable. There are fans attached to the ceiling, no air conditioning. The best thing about the youth hostel was that, despite the neighborhood, once I walked through the metal gate, I felt safe.

Awful. Worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Do not stay here! ”
Absolutely awful. Room was filthy. Floor has visible dirt and debris on it. Beds were incredibly dusty. Flys, bugs and ants everywhere. Room was full of Middle Ages Filippino women who seemed to be living there - the lights were on and they were still talking on their phones at 1am. Not really a 'youth' hostel or backpacker place at all. Bathroom was disgusting. There was no toilet paper or soap. There were dirty wet rags on the floor and it smelt awful. No aircon - fan only - which is often fine - but no air flow went to my bed at all. The only blessing was that I was only here for six hours or so crashing for the night between flights - not that I slept well given the noise and disregard of the 'live in ladies', the bugs, the heat and feeling constantly unsafe. Even the Filippino women slept with their valuables in their sheets with them. The staff were friendly and helpful - but that does not make up for how awful this place was.

basic but fine”
It's fine for a night. If you want to be near the airport and you're on a budget this is a good choice. It's cheap so you obviously shouldn't expect anything fancy, but the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and it took me less than 10 minutes to get to the airport (terminal 4). Most guests were locals, but this didn't bother me at all. Would recommend it, especially to budget travelers.

Alright to rest your eyes before a connection”
The taxi couldn't find the place, and had to ask numerous people on the street (even with the map). I only stayed 5 hours between flights - I wouldn't stay longer. Sketchy part of town, but the place was surrounded by a walled courtyard. The receptionist was friendly, but the room was hot, and very worn (although the sheets seemed clean). Only one sink worked in the bathroom, and the toilets barely had seats (and no toilet paper). The room was really hot with just a couple ceiling fans. Everyone woke up early, and some started playing their music at 6am! Glad I was already up.

Inconvenient location but good staff”
The area is very undeveloped - there is no restaurant, only 7/11 and few local shop. And even if the map shows that it is near the airport, it takes half an hour for taxi to get there because of tangled roads. The staff was helpful and polite. Facilities were very shabby but for 1 night not too bad.

Good location, awful conditions”
You can't expect too much for 10 USD per night - so you get a very basic accommodation, bathroom is barely clean with no toilet paper (prepare !) - still because of location - 1.5km from terminal 4 and just a bit more from terminal 1 (took ~15min to get) it not a bad value for money. Book a bed if the only thing you need is a couple of hours to sleep between your flights.

Don't come here ”
No AC hot as hell, on the photo it looks like 6 beds but there were 16 beds in a dorm. Noisy early in the morning because of the people on the street. The worst is the receptionist, when I arrive with agoda receipt, she asked me do I want to change to a private room and pay more, what the hell was that question for? Then why did I book through agoda? Didn't check how the toilet was like because I left after 3 hours of stay and went to another place
