Pleasant clean room with comfy beds and and clean toilet and shower”
The location is great. The staff at reception really friendly. I advise you book directly with hotel as i had to pay extra booking via a website due to not suitable room allocated to us. Breakfast really expensive unless u book as part of booking. Wifi is not included so is extra. Parking is free at a car park 2 mins from hotel. Overall not bad for 3 star hotel.

Had a renovated room,clean and comfy, nice new furniture and re-done bathroom. The new shower was barely warm so very unpleasant showering experience. The curtains did not fit the window and were hanging down and looked dreadful, the nets sagging and looked dreadful. Ceiling light didnt work so room very dark. Lovely new tv but no remote control. Having bothered to renovate the hotel why didnt they bother to finish off? hang the curtains properly etc? The hallways were filthy, dirty stained carpet and stank of smoke. Will never stay there again. Travel to Birmingham regualaly but will stay else where.

Overall i have stayed at this hotel twice know an i dnt think this hotel is good value for money because you can get a better room up the road for the same price but because of buissness there is nt rooms always available so i have to go with this hotel i dnt think it is a good place to stay

Ok , where do I start ? Smell was really bad . Seriously bad . Was looking for dead rats under bed. There was none , carpet is full of holes and so is pillow case. Pillow had bad smell . There was water leak above the door where wall paper is missing. . Next to bed is no skirting boards and all rubble is on the floor . . Window was greasy and dirty. On the good side , kettle and TV are provided . Was told that other side of hotel is in better condition. I booked 2 nights and left after first one. Gone to bed and breakfast instead. Ruined my trip completely . B&b was same price but very enjoyable . Good luck

This hotel is an absolute nightmare. Horrible, disgusting, awful, horrendous, words fail me. It seems to be a former hostel, halfway house or worse. The description and photos on the website are grossly misleading. The room was horrible, the carpet old, worn threadbare, and dirty, same with all the furniture. Disgusting. Completely unsuitable for families (or anyone else, I assume). Horrible horrible horrible. Our stay was traumatic, sleepless, awful.

Rough at the edges”
Arrived, and had to pay immediately. Told that we had to leave the room keys (swipe cards) at the desk when out and retrieve them on return. That's OK. What I wasn't told is that they had to be recharged daily, so mine didn't work in the morning! Room was basic. No bath plug. Shower knob was so stiff that we couldn't turn it off. Phone in the room didn't work. Kettle didn't fit under the tap. Mains plug socket was falling off the wall. Locking mechanism on the door was going to fall off very soon. The TV remote in my sons' room didn't work. The window would only open 6 inches so it was so hot my sons couldn't sleep. Every hour or 2 there's a noise like a mechanical drill which I assume is the plumbing. The walls are so thin you can hear people breathe next door. The list was out of order in the morning, so wanting to inform reception about above problems (phone not working) I had to walk downstairs. Didn't bother me but it might well have bothered someone else. Not good.

This place is not very clean pillows are just rolled up blankets in pillow cases quilts inside covers are rotten full of hairs carpets are thread bare needs a good clean up and paint job
