GREAT PLACE!”

Was in town for one night to see Barbra Streisand at Hyde Park, and just needed a place to crash for a few hours and take a shower. Northfields couldn't have been more PERFECT! A GREAT location right across from the Tube Station with a friendly, accommodating staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, and very affordable! Thank you Northfields! I've found my London home whenever I return! 😊

Good and cheap”

Adequate. Separate male and female bathrooms. Large community kitchen. This is a good hotel for people who don't care for fancy hotels or for luxury - who just want to sleep somewhere comfortably to spend the day seeing London.

Very conveniet as the tube station and bus station was right across the hostel. Easy to get around and won't have to rush if you're headed to the airport.

Location just perfect, right next the tube station, so it’s window facing the train passing all night, ask for the opposite room. Can’t expect too much for a hostel.

Wholes in the wall covered with newspapers”

I had never stayed at a hostel but London is quite the expensive location for hotels. I had always heard about hostels and heard that it was a cheaper, yet comfortable way of traveling. Well, this hostel made me not ever want to stay at a hostel again. My individual room had wholes in the wall that were covered with newspapers, my comforter had blood stains (Gross!!) on it, and I had to wait for for two hours for a shower towel because there were none clean when I checked in. The ladies bathroom was also dirty most of the time. The kid who works there during the day was useless when it comes to giving information to tourists, but thankfully the gentleman working the evening shift was a bit friendlier and more helpful. London on the other hand, is a great place!

An adventure”

Location is very good, in front of the underground and in a lovely district, shopping facilities and a Parc with playground nearby. The room was simple but ok, but had nothing to do with the room on this photo. Just 4 beds, one table and three chairs, a fridge, an open shelf. That's it. Unfortunately the so called bath-rooms were quite disgusting, too small, wc and shower in one, and and not clean, due to other guests who didn't leave it clean...

It's cheap so we can't expect more”

We paid 52 for room with two bunkbeds that can accommodate 4 people, which is quite fair. However, the hotel is very far (zone 3). The good thing (and also bad) is that it's opposite the tube station, so it's very convenient. But it means that it's very noisy with tubes going by. If you have problem with sleeping, this is not a place for you. Facilities are basic with a fridge in the room, shared kitchen and showers. The kitchen has hobs, ovens and a microwave. There are some dishes, mugs, cutleries but not many.

Don't take a shower!!”

The shower and bathroom had not been cleaned in days if not weeks!! The showers did not all work more did they drain properly leaving standing water all day. The build up of black growth on the ceiling and walls was unpleasant . I can not recommend this hostel

Very disappointed”

In all my travels over the last 35years this has to be the worst place I have ever stayed,it was grotty throughout,from the staff at the so called reception,with headphones on,and any direction was a raised eyebrow,the shower should be condemned,as dangerous boiling hot water,the room was shockingly filthy,with an exception,by the backpackers that this was it,a broken window that would not shut,heating that had no thermostat,the night trains down beneath the windows giving no peace Basically Agoda have a cheek to actually advertise this tip,as exceptable accomodation,irrespective of the price,Environmental health,should pay a visit

I have never stayed at a hotel/ hostel so dirty it truly was disgusting. Even on a budget this was just to much to bare.

Prices keep changing on a daily basis, wouldn’t give us a set price

the hotel was very dirty, the window like few years ago din have anyone to clean it and the toilet is terrible.the only things good for the hotel is the internet, fast and easy to access.
