Exceptional”
This is not the first time i have stayed at Novotel Hotel Edinburgh Park but the reason i come back is first and foremost the hotel is so clean the rooms are immaculate but most of all the staff are so friendly and helpful one staff member (Sorry Can't remember her name) went above and beyond her duties on one occassion (Feb 22nd 2019) i had to check out 2 hours after checking in as i had a phone call that my mum fell and injured herself i had to go back to Glasgow the staff member held my reservation open for 4 weeks to use at no extra charge and also gave me a wee gift for my mum and wished her well. and (Friday 11th October 2019) i was checking in and explained my original guest who was suppose to come with me could not make it due to ill health on checking out the next morning the staff member had left a lovely get well soon card and small gift on behalf of the hotel for my friend which i thought was a beautiful gesture. so i look forward to my next stay at Novotel thank you.

Lovely hotel, great pool, efficient staff, fantastic breakfast!”
Location was fantastic. Staff are all very efficient What let it down were some issues in room. Grout in floor worn or non existent in places, sweet wrappers under then bed and the carpet was stained in a number of places. Overall wouldn't stop me returning.

Staff very attentive, helpful and easy to talk, beautiful bar and restaurant! carpet old at the room and tiles at the toilet a bit noisy, told staff to ask maintenance to break and re do the tiles, before it breaks and might hurt someone.

Excellent location family hotel in Edinburgh ”
A short 20 min ride from Edinburgh Princes street, Novotel at Edinburgh park is located in a great quiet location with decent facilities and a good pool. Breakfast timings are very convenient for business travelers as well trying to get a flight from the airport. The only complain I have is the changing facility near the pool is common for all genders which is not ideal

Not up to scatch”
The first night we stayed in a room with bleach stains on the carpet and stains on the sheets. The staff weren't very helpful about changing our booking. Eventually we got a new room but really we already had a bad picture of the place. There were screaming kids everywhere too swinging off the back of my seat as we tried to eat dinner. Not a place I would go back to.

great service, convenient location, great value”
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at novotel edinburgh park. he rooms are clean and comfortable. it is only 2 stations away from edinburgh waverley which is the town centre where all the tour buses depart and transport is very efficient and easy to work out. there is a shopping centre just over the road, a kfc and a krispy kreme doughnut shop. taxi from hotel to airport cost 15 pound and only 10-15 minutes away. the only downside is that you have to pay for internet connection. its 9 pound for 24 hours but they gave us 3 codes for our different devices which was nice. all in all, highlyr recommwnded! btw, edinburgh is awesome!!! will be back for sure but nwxt time will be longer.

Best of both worlds”
The Novotel, Edinburgh Park is a good hotel to stay in . Although the hotel is not in the City centre of Edinburgh it is convenient for Airport, Glasgow and other areas of Edinurgh. Scotrail trains and trams stop outside the hotel (about 2 min walk away) and can take you directly into the centre of Edinburgh. Trains will take you directly into Glasgow city centre also. I would totally recommend this hotel if you do not want to stay within the hustle and bustle of a lively city like Edinburgh or Glasgow but wish easy access to both. Staff were friendly and helpful. The AC in our room was not working properly the first night but we reported it to reception the next morning and it was sorted quickly. For a hotel which is next to airport, trains and trams one would think it would be noisy but it was not! Having lived in Edinburgh for the best part of my life I would totally recommend the area where the hotel is situated.

Very nice place for a couple of nights”
The hotel is great to stay a couple of nights and visit Edinburgh. The best: - 2 minutes walking from a train station and tram station to go to Edinburgh centre. - 5 minutes walking from a big Tesco to buy food and drinks. - Dog friendly. - Helpful and friendly staff. The not so good: - Got lost trying to find it on the GPS using the postcode - £4 per day to use the parking - Lack of dog friendly area on the bar/restaurant

Fantastic, But the Chef Could Maybe Do Better”
Novotel are always good. Everything was perfect and the location is actually great for visiting Edinburgh ( the shops almost opposite are a bonus). Our only gripe was that the food wasn't great. Pizza badly done, inedible Caesar salad, cheap nasty burgers, uncooked eggs at breakfast, just pretty nasty. Otherwise really good, lovely reception staff, waiters. Fish and chips was good. My husband is a Chef in 5 star hotels so this is also a professional opinion. They need to improve this. It was like the chef didn't have a clue how these dishes should be done and was improvising.

Gorgeous pool! ”
Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent amenities including a very nice pool with sauna and steam room. Close to the airport. Opposite a KFC and a Krispy Kreame if that floats your boat. Good coffee from the restaurant area, and Punk IPA tins available. Highly recommend for a relaxing stopover before or after being at Edinburgh Airport.

Very new hotel great rooms”
you need a taxi to get to or from the airport but is fifteen minutes at most. you can walk to edinburgh park railway station and get to waverly in twenty minutes for a copule of pound return. so a good location for the city centre if you can get a cheap deal. wifi is free and they have a gym and pool. the breakfast is fine but nothing to write home about. the staff were friendly and efficient. i arrived on late night flight and was upgraded to a suite as they had no more double rooms. .

Really nice hotel ”
Fantastic hotel, right on train line into centre of Edinburgh. Really clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff. Wifi is available in the rooms and there are also computers in the lobby for people to use with free printing. Pool and gym on site are great, as is the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is quite accessible to Edinburgh, due to its location near Edinburgh park station. The service and hotel is what you would expect from a Novotel hotel. The staff were kind. We had a very annoying noise in my room, and a member of the staff did a good help for us.

Great staff but a little rough around the edges”
The hotel staff are exceptional, very polite and attentive however the rooms and lifts were not up to the same standard with poorly fitted facias in the lift and exposed backing boxes in the rooms. The location is great for getting into edinburgh via the tram and the car park is large with plenty of spaces.
