Fair deal”
The building is hoplessly sixties, somewhat worn down, but the room is perefectly clean and flawlessly serviced. The staff was very helpful, assisting in checking in and printing the boarding passes, ordering transfer for dawn, urging it, when it was a few minutes late and in giving general advice. Tee and biscuit is offered in the room the temperature of which can be regulated by the guest. We stayed on floor 12, that had a marvelous view and was prefectly silent , even if it weas only three minutes from Oxford Circus. The price of the room is not modest in European comparison but understandable in the London context

Location and view are great.”
Our initial disappointment with the room (dingy carpet etc. but no serious concerns) faded away quickly. The staff is friendly, taxis take an average of 10 seconds to arrive, and the location is excellent, not to mention the beautiful view. All in all, we're happy we stayed here.

Good location but hotel is old”
The hot water supply is not stable. Room is big. Staff are friendly. Just few mins walk to underground station. Many restaurants around the hotel. Overall is good to stay.

Still undergoing renovation”
Not all rooms are renovated. Ours was partially done. Construction (drilling) takes place on weekends too from 9am so better not sleep late. Was also told after check in that there was no AC in all the rooms due to the renovation. The hallway had AC so I left my door open and the windows open to get some cool air to enter. On the plus side the towels were large and internet had good strength.

old hotel - too expensive”

Work traveller”
The hotel was convenient to my location 5 mins away from where I needed to be. There was a lot of work going on in the hotel and didn’t stop till 6:40-7:00pm No restaurant, room service. The shower curtain and part ceiling fell down when I was in the room. The door handle came off in our hands and someone had to come and fix this. I had to get Deliveroo everyday to eat food. Only convenience thing was the location and it was fairly a big room. The tv channel didn’t even work properly. Personally not worth the money I paid to stay in London.

Stay Away Until the the Renovation Is Done”
Terrible stay at this hotel -- no AC, incredible amounts of noise. Staff did their best, but the bottom line is, they should have closed until the renovations were done.

This Hotel FAILS on every level!!!”
I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and all sorts of different grades of hotel so i am used to less than perfect hotels or less than perfect service. I have also seen what good can really look like. St Georges Hotel was truly awful and for the price has absolutely no redeeming features apart from possibly its location. As we stepped out of the lift we knew we had made a mistake the carpets were threadbare and the decor tired and peeling. Our room was dirty, lights did not work, the shower did not work, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and damaged and the toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. Again the carpet was threadbare and not at all clean. What a rip off, it made me ashamed and sad that this is possible in our capital city and so glad we were only booked for one night. The hotel has nothing good worth mentioning. When i complained on check out i was told the hotel manager would email me later that day. No email has arrived. DO NOT BOOK THIS AWFUL HOTEL

Hotel was very old and run down.. There was no AC.. they should’ve just closed the hotel because everything was broken and it was under construction.. very dirty, no room service, no ice cubes.. only just great location but no amenities because the resto bar on the top floor was under construction too.. even the umbrella we borrowed was broken..

Acceptable”
Part of the hotel is under renovation process. We couldn’t sleep because of the massive noise that was above our room. The hotel shouldn’t be considered as a 4 star hotel. The light of the corridor doesn’t work. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Excellent hotel in perfect location.”
I spent 8 nights in Saint Georges Hotel and it was a great stay. The hotel is old and under renovation, but the room is big and clean, there is everything one can need for a comfortable stay-from good Wi-Fi to hairdryer, mini fridge and kettle.Bed is good, there was a small sitting area and room was cleaned every day.Staff is very polite and efficient, they let me stay a few more hours after check out too.And you can't beat the location-in a heart of all shopping action,on Regent St. 5 minutes walk to Oxford St.Station and every huge department store one can think of. Carnaby st. is 10 minutes walk, there are many eateries on the street and bus stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location alone, but its good in general and fantastic value for money.

Location trumps all”
The best feature of the Saint Georges was definitely the location: in Oxford Circus, right in the heart of Central London. The room and always were quiet despite the busy outside atmosphere and ongoing renovations. The breakfast was decent with basic features like juice, cereals, danishes, etc. The breaky however may have been a bit underwhelming for me only because I arrived close to the end of it when everything was being packed up, so that may have the reason for the minimal choices! Overall great hotel with good staff, fabulous location and good hotel features.

An affordable stay in the center of London”
The Saint Georges Hotel is a good place for people, looking for an affordable stay in the center of London Soho. The room is clean for my standard, the furniture is a used but the beds are still very comfortable. Overall, it was a very good stay for the rate, so I won´t complain to much. We didn´t had breakfast in the hotel, so we can´t comment on this. The view of the bar is amazing. The only negativ thing: I couldn´t get an invoice when I checked out. The staff said that everything is done online and I will receive the invoice via mail, which I didn´t got until now. This means I can´t get in touch with somebody to change the invoice to the company address to claim back the payment, as it was a business travel. Never had this issue before while travelling, but I will figure out how to get an invoice. Overall it was a good place to stay us, as we just slept there and enjoyed the city of London in the rest of the time!

One night in Londo”
This Hotel has fantastic veiws across London if you are lucky enough to be on one of the higher floors. The bedroom was beautifuly decorated and very clean. The Hotel is just off Oxford Street so very handy for all the shops and attractions. There are plenty of resteraunts to choose from very close to the hotel. Overall the staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is probably the best hotel at this price that I have stayed at in the center of London.

Good value for location ”
Firstly, hotel advertises itself as Bloomsbury but technically it is not in Bloomsbury but near W1 BBC. So if you want Bloomsbury you need a taxi. If need to be by the BBC, ideal. Very misleading and would hold the advertiser to account for that. Secondly, hotel is shabby in the room. Ripped carpet, aged bathroom, bed throw that has seen better days. However, it was clean, the bed comfortable, had the necessary room gadgets (kettle, tea, Nescafe powder and milk) and if you are facing the right way, a good view over over the main road looking towards the high end Langham Hotel and street scenes towards Regent Street (ideal for shopping). Downside. Apart from the misleading location name, the corridor smelled of drains but as there are works going on outside the hotel, this might be being addressed. To summarise, located at top of Regent Street, good view from 11th floor upwards, comfy bed, good price, functional. Oh, and usefully, taxi rank a few yards away for quick transportation

Minutes walk to Oxford Circus Station”
Hotel is just minutes walk to Oxford Street. Check in and out was a breeze. Asked for a room with a view but was not given one. Still, you could manage the great view from their restaurant, top floor. Internet was not stable and the duty manager was really kind to reboot the modem for us. We had great Internet connection for that one time and then it was back to unstable connections the next days. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels provided, bath robes, amenities, still and sparkling mineral water bottles. Kettle for boiling hot water a big plus, with babies. Bed was comfortable, made daily. The only thing that was obviously not cleaned is the carpet. Dusty and with stains. Baby was confined to the bed during our stay. Staffs were very friendly, checking on us to make sure our stay was pleasant. We are very happy and are already planning for another trip to London!

Good hotel in excellent location.”
I booked this hotel last minute so got quite a good deal. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but I was on a high floor and did not really notice the ongoing work. The room was a good size considering its central London location and while a few parts need updating it was clean and comfortable. The hotel seemed to have limited facilities with only a small reception but this may be changing with the current work going on. The main selling point for this hotel is the excellent location, 1 min from Oxford Circus, right next to BBC Broadcasting House and opposite (the much pricier) Langham hotel and for the price the room size and quality were great value.
