Very nice traditional japanese hotel”
I have booked a Japanese style room which is super nice in tatami with a proper living room in traditional style, sliding paper window plus glass window towards a balcony in view of tree. Bedmat was well prepared when I got into the room. The room was on second floor, I traveled alone the husband host helped me to carry the large luggage box upstairs and the beautiful wife is friendly. There is fridge in the room, by the night I enjoy my meal in the room then a comfortable bath in the clean bathroom. Walk down to the beach was like 10-15mins. A lovely place to enjoy sunbath. There is a stone built theatre at seaside, the city hall is behind. By some more walk you can reach the old market. This was the ever long 10-day holiday, that's why alot of of stores were closed but still leave me a good memory in nago.

The best place to stay in Okinawa”
I was really surprised to find this place! It’s a real hidden gem. The owner is so friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy, with amazingly comfortable bed and a garden seating just outside the room. The breakfast I had at Shirahama Hotel was the best I’ve ever had in Japan. Freshly cooked by the owner, delicious and fulfilling. Thank you so much for the great time I spent at Shirahama Hotel. Definitely will stay there again!

Lovely place”
We stayed at the Shirahama hotel for 4 nights, enjoyed it a lot and can definitely recommend staying there. The owner is very friendly and makes the best breakfast ever! It is cooked with love and incredibly delicious. She speaks English and Frech fluently which makes the communication very easy. We had a renting car and it was no problem to park it in front of the house or at the parking space next to it. Also we liked the location a lot because all the beautiful places of the island can be easily accessed from there. The house is pretty old but this is not a problem at all. Everything is kept very clean and comfy and it makes feeling like home pretty easy. As we were on Okinawa in the low season we were lucky to get a free upgrade to a bigger room which we are really thankful for.

Excellent”
Wonderful, helpful and communicative management. Good hot water in shower. My room had blackout curtains but not all rooms do. Fantastic French(?) inspired breakfasts (you can have Japanese food for lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby). Plan for at least two hours bus trip from Naha airport if traveling in peak hour. (Recommend Okinawa Airport Shuttle.) Laundry and supermarket close by.

You need a car to here! ”
This is the biggest (in term of size) hotel we had in Japan so far! Price is reasonable and room is clean! Good for those driving, free parking available. Hotel signage is not too prominent, watch up the junction to turn to the hotel entrance. Room Wifi is not strong, good if they improve it.

It's GOOD”
1.Hotel old owner really try her best to help and introduce the room in poor English just because i don't know Japanese; 2.also the hotel have a good and comfortable environment,i feel like I'm in the 1970s of Japan ,full of traditional Japanese style!l love the Tatami ! 3.but,the hotel is a little bit out of the way;there is only one canteen(宮里そば) near by the hotel,if you want to try the other one, you'll need to walk through the way for around 10-15 mins to found the other restaurant and the nearest convenience store(Family Mart) Overall,I will give a high evaluation to Shirahama Hotel cause she really give me a nice and warm memories during my trip in Okinawa :)
