Friendly staff”
I really loved this hostel it was quiet and close to the town. The staff was really helpful , the lady not only gives you a map but writes on it what to do, how much, when to do it and how long it’ll take you to do. This was really helpful in deciding what to do and when. You can rent bikes and motorbikes from the hostel. She also helped me booked a bus back to Hanoi and walked me from the hostel to the bus stop, then waited for me to get on the bus before she went back. The rooms were comfortable and safe. The little dog that lives there is super sweet and hangs out with all the guests. Definitely recommend!

I came 4 am and stayed in the hostel, she counted that as an early check in, which was very nice surprise. Clean, good breakfast, good location, fantastic people working. Cannot complain about anything. Great hostel. Thank you

We stayed 3 nights at Ricefields Homestay and loved everything about it. The room was clean, the service Dan provided was personal an professional. The area was peaceful and scenic yet only 3 minute walk to all the restaurants. Highly recommended if ever you are going to Tam Coc.

considerate staff & homey feeling ”
We were truly impressed by the considerate staff (e.g. when we put our towels outside to dry, they simply replaced them with new ones). The venue itself is beautifully and conveniently located at the edge of town (2min from the Main Street with all restaurants but overlooking the rice fields and more quite). Great stay!

Best overall experience of Tam Coc”
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Free breakfast, had access to bicycle and motorbike on hand to travel around the city and it had a great comfy and home vibe to the whole area. Highly recommend

The Hidden Gem”
Pro's - The Bed are super soft , Toliet super clean and spacious, staff very informative and friendly, the view is great as opposite lake Con's , - It quite hidden and you need to take bike to go inside or out, bus and car might have an issue , Staff are not always in the receptionist, meal little costly than other Overall :- almost perfect

Really nice place to stay. We arrived early in the morning and they let us sleep in a dorm until we could check in which was really nice! The room was super clean, comfy bed and with a heater! good breakfast and they give you information about what to do in the area. Would stay here again.

Acceptable for 1 Quick Night/Stay”
This place has no social vibes at all, so stay here if you don't care to socialize, or you only have one night. The attractions are a short motorbike, or bike ride away. Problem is that the receptionist, or the family that runs the place are barely at their front desk. Also there is only 1 person who knows english, and that is their daughter.

Super nice staff! Rooms (bungalows) are ok but the beds are very uncomfortable. Was one of the priciest places we have been to in Vietnam, Value for money was no good.

Disappointed about the staff after reading good things here. Often there was no one around and almost no info was given. The dorm was already getting cleaned in the morning with the door open (hot air coming in) and they even turned off the aircon while I was still trying to sleep. For the rest good for the price.

Everything else fine but 2 big minuses -2 junkie girls in my dorm room keep noice all night long i coudnt sleep. -You book me the worst bus company ive ever been to. Ninh Binh(tam cok) to Hoi An. 20 hours. Camel Travels Vietnam. Stay very far away from this company.

Best homestay/hostel I ever stayed at! If you’re looking for a peaceful place, away from busy Ninh Binh this is the place to be! The host family is absolutely lovely and helpful. everything worth visiting is very close. Also the views are just incredible. Enjoy your free breakfast served in the middle of the rice fields before you go discovering the area. Property has scooters as well as bicycles for rent. If I ever come back to Tam Coc, this homestay would definitely be my number one. Totally recommend!!!

Perfect stay”
Amazing, if you are in Tam Coc you HAVE to stay here. They’ve done a wonderful job and the rooms in the little cottages are so lovely. Sweet, comfortable, clean and new rooms with everything you need. The only downside would be the wet room as opposed to a shower but that’s common in SE Asia. Staff were so so lovely, incredibly welcoming and attentive. When leaving, the receptionist even sent us off with a drink for our journey which was a very nice touch. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and perfect too for Westerners - the bread was so fresh! Breakfast is served outside in front of the rice fields; this area is also lit up at night to enjoy some drinks. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Quiet, friendly and clean homestay.”
We spent two nights here with our two children in the family bungalow. Located really close to town but tucked away near rice fields so the location is quiet. The family was always really friendly and helpful. It was very hot the days we were in Tam Coc (37*C) so the air-con struggled a little but the family sweetly provided us with fans as well so it made it bearable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices to order from; the family even cooked us an early breakfast the day we left on the bus.

The atmosphere here is lovely, the family is very hospitable. The location is handy for tam coc restaurants and shops... A 5 min walk away but attractions here are spread out, we really benefited from hiring a moped from the homestay. This was easy, well priced and the family were attentive to any questions or issues with the bike. We had a shared outdoor bathroom but it was clean and had everything we needed. Room was lovely and clean and bed was comfortable. If anything, the AC was too effective which is a good problem to have!
