Surprisingly great city retreat”
New hotel, newly establishing Japanese real estate group hotels chain, but invited foreign management and guests can feel top high class hospitality and personal care. Together with superior river bank relaxing location, stylish room, steps away transportation access, yet very reasonably priced it's difficult to be beaten. Had great experience at Riverside breakfast which was beautifully served with high personal adjustment. Also great rooftop terrace with Tokyo sightseeing spots view. If could recommend only lights at bathroom aren't comfortable as only all together strongly light up, so bit bright at night. But all together fantastic memory and experience, thank you!

The staff were great. They were professional. Breakfast is beyond expectation. We love it. Though we do not have the river view room, it was still great as it is spacious and clean. It is also near the Ryogoku station.

Nice rooftop view ”
The hotel is right opposite Ryugoku stadium. Great for staying overnight after/before watching sumo. I imagine it will be packed during the sumo season. It is also right next to the highway. I am not that sensitive to noise so it was fine with me. The rooftop bar is a must. The view is really good during night. The cocktail and mocktail are really good too. The view itself is well worth the price. This hotel is new. The interior is modern and well design. I especially like the build in cabinet for the fridge and the safe.

The overall experience was pretty good. Will consider staying here again if I visit Tokyo again. The staffs at the reception are fluent in English, so there won't be any problem communicating. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. The location is also very convenient.

Great hotel, excellent location”
Loved it!! Its location next to Kokugikan was important, however I was pleasantly surprised by: room and quality of furniture including designer office chair and desk with monitor, cleanliness, feel of newness, amazing staff attention to detail. Worth noting is the terrace on the roof (9th floor) and Ferry stop on the river side.

Great getaway from Shibuya, Ginza and Shinjinku”
You can walk around the river and enjoy the scenery. Great if you are big fans of Sumo where the arena situated. Around 15mins walk and you arrive the renowned Kaminarimon Gate, where you can rent kimono and pay respect to the temple.

Amazing value for money and room size in Tokyo”
The size of the room was far bigger and nicer than other properties that are located in the 'busy areas'. We found staying in ryogoku super easy to get around - quick trip to akihabara to switch to the yamanote line to get to all the usual places. Can't recommend this hotel enough. We'll likely be back next time we're in Tokyo.

Hidden gem in Tokyo”
seriously this is a good hotel. I was very surprised with the size of the room. The bed is super comfortable, the room is super spacious and a very large bathtub inside. In my room also have ample space with sofa in it. The hotel is not too far away from tokyo station. It is like opposite Ryogoku station. There are many restaurants nearby but not much to shop as we arrived late and is kinda of dark. We can hear the traffic noise as it is next to highway but it didnt bother my sleep at all. I love this hotel and definitely will come back

Cozy room”
We travelled n booked for room with 3 bed for 2 nights. The room space big enough to manage our lugage, etc. At the night we can enjoy a relaxing moment with nice view of city kight & tokyo sky tree at the rooftop. Served with blanket. Not far from the hotel, there’s a park we can morning walk n ryogoku station.

Sleek hotel for a good price and great location”
The hotel room was more spacious than expected for a Tokyo double size room. For the price, it was fantastic and the location was very convenient next to Ryogoku station. You can pretty much get to anywhere around the Tokyo via the JR route.

Close to Ryogoku station (JR Sobu line), with restaurants in close proximity of the station. Rooms are spacious and clean, amenities are well stocked. Would appreciate coin operated laundry instead of laundry services! Overall, a great stay.

New hotel at a great location”
We stayed here for 7 nights and ten booked another 6 nights because we weren’t sure if we like the hotel or location in early November! This newly built hotel is in the middle of Ginza and SkyTree mall, both easy to get to by train because we’re only 5 minutes walk from Ryogoku JR train station! The larger rooms face the river and right next to the freeway! Some traffic noise but not too bad! The last six days we booked a smaller room which was facing the Summo wrestler stadium and the train station. This side was much quieter but the room is small but still a decent size compared to some of the hotels in Tokyo! You can hardly hear the trains and noise from the roads are minimal! Unlike Saigon and Bangkok, noise from the traffic are so insane! We will definitely stay here again because of how well maintained and clean the hotel is! Plus we’ve already spent two weeks learning the train system to go in every direction! Reception staff is always friendly and helpful! Other then that one recitation was born in the US, the other’s English is very limited! But I don’t expect them to speak good English in their own country! いつもは雷門を利用していますが、気分を変えて新しい両国を予約。チェックイン時の対応から始まりスタッフが皆さんとても親切。 激安料金にもかかわらず高層階広めの静かな部屋へアップグレードしてくれました。 内装もシンプルでシックなデザイン。海外のホテルのようでかっこいい。 アメニティのダージリンティーの香りがいいし、バスソルト、ハンドクリームまである。 ネスプレッソも４つあり、ゆっくりできる。 いつも安定の朝食。生オレンジジュースとエシレバター、はちみつ。高価な超高級ホテルより居心地がいいホテル。両国は朝食の若い女性スタッフも全員良かったです。 コロナで厳しい状況が続きますが、頑張って欲しいホテルです。これで海外のように12時OUTなら100点満点。これからもザ・ゲートホテル両国を利用し続けるでしょう。
