I loved my stay at AO Kitchen Hostel! Everything is extremely clean, including the beds which are also very comfortable. They provide amenities like daily fresh towels, bath and shower products, laundry if you stay four days that are really nice and not standard at most hostels. There are special security procedures to make sure not anyone can just walk in and out. Everyone is given a locker that fits most suitcases and flip flops to wear inside the facility. The whole place is decorated really cutely, with island vibes and sayings. Also, it’s nearby everything - Kokusai Dori, the Port to many Islands, the train to the airport, etc are all nearby and easily walkable. Would definitely recommend staying there

Perfect hostel recommended for all of you”
Very clean and cosy environment. They provide facial soap, toner, face cream, sunscreen, shavers, eye masks, earplugs... which make your stay in AO more convenient and comfortable. You can use the washing machine for free if you stay more than 3 days. Staff here are very nice and helpful. But do not expect much on the breakfast. All in all, this is my very first time travelling alone and staying in a hostel for a few days; I really enjoy this trip and appreciate the services and quality of AO. If you are a single traveller, lets give it a try!

Excellent location for first time solo traveler ”
As a first solo time traveler, safety is my top priority. This hostel provide excellent location with convenient stores, restaurants,mall and of course train station.Even though, the price was cheap but the facilities and staffs was indeed a thumb up! Definitely recommend staying here!!

Last stay was back in 2017 when the hostel was still brand new. Was delightedly surprised 3 years later, the shower area was upgraded with privacy curtain. That was highly appreciated! Hostel was clean as usual, and the complimentary toiletries/ ear plugs/ eye masks are helpful for light sleepers.

The hostel was clean and well segmented, they provide washing machine /dryer together. We had an good 4 nights stay. The owners run an restaurant and the hostel and they were friendly!

for low budget -I recommended this place”
It's always pack in this hotel. Sometimes I felt it is too tight. but the bed space was big enough. There are many spots to sit in with separate space for lockers. The toilets and shower rooms were new and good. I stayed for more than 3 days I can use the laundry machine for free, but need to buy the powder for 100yen.

Beautiful interior design, so clean, enough shower rooms and toilets you won’t be rushed. storages and sleep room are separated which is good to keep quiet in sleeping room. Highly recommended!!!!

Clean, convenient, would recommend!”
The bed and the washroom were very clean and comfortable. The interior design was great and bright. The staff were helpful and explained the facilities very clearly. You can communicate with them easily by English. The breakfast included some Japenese style food which was great to me. Just one minor thing, there would be some noises at night coz most female guests share the two same corridors. But that was fine to me coz i easily got deep sleep even there’s sound.

They provide a fresh towel each day for showering. They also provide toiletries needed. Their toilets are modern Japanese style toilets with very private stalls. Beds are okay, top bunk is tricky to go up and down. The restaurant on the first floor is very good! :)

There's a big Lawson convenient store nearby, which is imo the best part of Japan, the convenient store! It only takes a few minutes walk to get to kokusai dori street, very good staying experience economy and location-wise!

Not far from metro station and kokusai which is the famous shopping area in Naha. But the location is nice to keep distance from people to have a quieter time. Anyway it's a good option for staying.

Great hostel !”
This hostel is great! The location is very convenient, next to the rail station and 20 minutes away walking from the port. The dorms are amazing ! Beautiful and very confortable ! Many chill out spaces. The bathrooms are huge too ! You can store your stuff in a locker outside of the beds space. Breakfast is nice. I definitely recommend the place !

Very clean and provide towels every day despite just a hostel. Amenities were free to help ourselves. Area was very quiet but convenient to the main shopping district by walking distance. Could only be slightly pricy for a hostel during the weekend rates.

Cosy stay at excellent location”
Excellent location within mins walk to Kencho-Mae station and Kokusaidori street. Cosy sleep pod and good shower facilities though luggage size can’t be too big due to limited storage space.
