Great stay”
I stayed overnight whilst attending a local event. I have multiple food intolerances and everyone could not have been more helpful from the chef, waiter and waitress to the receptionists. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly too. Food was delicious and cooked especially for me for both dinner and breakfast. Such a pleasure to stay there. Would thoroughly recommend it.

It appears to have dropped standards since new regime have taken over. Had a few complaints. They were handled reasonably well after discussion with manager. Menu needs updating as been same for over a year. Chef needs to be friendlier after complaint about stale bread .

Good value hotel close to heathrow. ”
Good value for London prices if you need to be near heathrow. Facilities are fine and represented good blue for money. Only bad experience was the breakfast where the lady was too busy talking with her friend for 10 minutes to take any order and by the time she has, she returned with the food (a cooked breakfast) and think expected me to eat it with my hands. She promptly took away everything at 9.30 too so was very fast to finish but frankly could not be bothered to attend to the numerous waiting customers. I get breakfast is until 9.30 but does that mean you remove all the juices and buffet lines at exactly 9.30. I thought 9.30 would be your last kitchen order and you get 15-30 mins after that. Would not judge the note by a one staff member though, everyone else was really nice.

Yes if you have your own transport ”
The hotel is 10/15 minutes drive from the airport but not connected very well, the local bus pass every 1 hour or so, not easy to book a Uber/Bolt as most of them cancels the rides (not sure why). If you have your own car you won’t face any issues. The hotel is in the middle of no where, the staff at the reception are not very friendly. Apart from that the room was ok and clean, and one lady from the staff helped us to do an early check-in, we waited one hour but luckily she managed to give us a room before 3 pm.

A Hidden Gem”
The Stanwell Hotel is a well-hidden gem, certainly well worth the effort of seeking out: in fact my taxi driver had to take two attempts to find it. As a one-night stay near Heathrow airport necessitated by a very early morning flight, the Stanwell was ideal, and in fact it made me sad I only had the one night. The menu in the attractively bright and open restaurant offered an eclectic choice, and the taste was great. The wine list was compact but well-varied, and the service was excellent. The only slight jarring note in the dining room was the music: quasi-classical orchestral versions of pops and standards, interspersed with a true classic piece: for the first 10 minutes, interesting ... thereafter .... intrusive. As for the accommodation side, my single room was rather ... compact ... so for a traveler on a multi-stop trip with several bags, careful planning was required to optimise space. However, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom immaculately clean. Despite being literally laid alongside LHR, the double-glazing kept noise levels surprisingly low. On the space side next time I'll try for a double, single use. All in all, this is a hotel I'd definitely return to, even as a stand-alone visit rather than a London Heathrow add-on. Excellent service from reception through restaurant and bar to the room staff, and superb value for money. A true hidden gem.

Wonderful Find”
My last day in London before I had to leave the next day I was lucky to have found this really nice hotel. Very close to the airport, but not right in the middle of lots of other hotels and noise from Heathrow airport. It is kind of tucked away with trees around it making it sort of secluded. The room I stayed in was a Executive King with a patio on the first floor. Others on the second floor had balconies. A little patio table for two outside the door made it really nice to relax and reflect on my trip the last night. They have a really nice restaurant and you can also sit outside on a nice day like I did and have lunch or dinner. They have a late evening menu and even 24 hour cold sandwich room service menu. This was nice as I had a late Sunday Roast there when I arrived around 3 pm and wasn't hungry at my usual dinner time. I had a nice simple sandwich and a glass of wine around 11 P.M. which was just all I needed. The bed was comfortable. The heavy drapes kept the light out when I took a much needed nap in the afternoon after a week of constant running and seeing the sights I wanted to relax my last day there before my long flight home. They called a taxi for me in the morning when I left and got to the airport very quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to be close to the airport for convenience but yet have a quiet, peaceful time and a chance to be outside in nice weather. The staff was very polite and friendly. I would definitely go back to The Stanwell if ever in London again.

Fantastic hotel for traveler who drive to Heathrow airport”
The Stanwell hotel was great for my stay. I stayed one night after landing at Heathrow. It was clean, comfortable and warm. Wifi was fast. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both were lovely.

fantastic hotel, clean ,modern ,bright,spacious.good location,would recomend it for any person, be it family ,solo traveller,bussiness man,couples.the hotel stwff go that extra mile to ensure your stay at the stanwell is enjoyable for you, the on site restaurant was mouth watering and truly enjoyable with a great selection & choice of food to choose from, for the person wishing to spend a little less on food, the bar also serves fantastic food at a lower cost rather than eating in the restaurant.would use this hotel again without a second thought.

It was very pleasant, my only negative comment is that I felt the location of my room with regards to the reception was a bit difficult. I felt it was a bit of a treck to get there and could have been better signposted, otherwise it was perfect. I would definitely recommend The Stanwell Hotel.

Had an overnight stay at the Stanwell in-between flights and cannot fault the quality of accomodation and service. The rooms are clean and modern and the restaurant serves quality food at reasonable prices. The staff went out of their way to be of service and they enhanced my experience.

The only negative about this hotel is that it is not in an area in which you can use your Travel Card for busses. The bus that services this area is extra. It also has a very tricky schedule which changes from weekday to Saturday to Sunday, so be sure that you find out ahead of time rather than waiting for a bus that never comes. The hotel does offer a taxi service to Heathrow for 12 pounds, but the bus is 2.40 if it fits into your schedule.

i will use this again when going through heathrow. not the top luxury class but excellent value for your money, very clean and great for passing through. smallish rooms but with everything you want. helpful and friendly staff. much better than i had expected for the price. i checked out at 5am for an early morning flight, so i can't comment on the breakfast.
