The perfect hotel for those on a budget”
I couldn't fault the Z Hotel. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Small, well designed and inviting rooms. Great location with some of the best restaurants and markets a short walk away. I hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Compact and functional rooms for short city stays”
Rooms are functional and compact, perfect for resting after a day out exploring the city. If you're staying longer, opt for the slightly larger rooms. Modern facilities, nice fluffy towels, and great smelling toiletries. Hotel had daily wine and cheese evenings, which are definitely a hit with guests.

Outstanding Service”
It is in a great location. Easy to walk to many parts of London or access places by bus or the underground. The staff were excellent! Very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assist me where possible. I booked a small room without a window which may seem weird but it was cosy, extremely clean and very modern. The room was fine for one person but would be too small for two people with large suitcases. The free wine and cheese happy hour was amazing!

Nice hotel”
We stayed in a family room, which was super practical and nice. Location close to Old Street underground was great (although there was some distant sound from the tube early mornings... it didnt bother us much, we slept like babies). We loved exploring the Shoreditch area and staying a bit away from the more touristic area. The staff was very friendly. A big hit for our 9-year old to get free soda and icecream in the «Happy hour» between 17:00-19:00. The free wine and cheese was also great for the parents.. We would happily return to this hotel next time in London!

Exceptional”
Room was upgraded on arrival and was ready at around 12:15. Friendly helpful staff. Right next to old street station. Could hear some outside noise but you kind of expect that in London.

Small and cosy in a perfect location ”
The rooms are small but highly efficient. It has all necessities and the hotel is perfectly located within a two minute walk to Old Street tube station, bus stops and many restaurants and shops. They offers free wine and cheese in the late afternoon which is a lovely treat for guests. The Z Hotel in Shoreditch is ideal for solo travellers or couples looking for easy access around London and looking to stay in an area with a great vibe.

Good stay for one or two nights”
The hotel is in a great location. It is modern, clean and although expected the room is very small. Staff were friendly and check in and out was painless. The shower is beautiful, the air con works albeit is quite and the TV has sky. I didn't go for breakfast as its about £10 for continental. Pret across the road is much cheaper. All in all, a good hotel, but has no extra facilities like swimming pool, computers etc. It's convenient, modern and good for people who plan on doing the whole tourist thing or perhaps a business trip.

2 night theatre stay”
Brilliant little hotel very near Old street underground station. So getting about is easy. The hotel rooms are very small but have everything you need and a very comfortable bed, we stayed for 2 nights early September, the staff are great very professional and friendly, they even provide complimentary cheese and Wine early evening which is a lovely touch. Would recommend this hotel. Only downside is the noise from the underground

Highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, modern, looked gorgeous, the staff were lovely, and there were complimentary drinks and food before 8pm, which was very generous and a lovely surprise. I couldn’t fault our stay at all.

Modern and clean rooms, close to tube and buses”
Love the accessibility features in the room. It would help many people. Location is very strategic, close to old st tube station. If you're planning to go around EC, this hotel could probably be it. Buses will take you to the city or to King's cross easily. Room is excellent. Clean and comfortable, with some modern touches here and there. A lovely stay. I think they have free afternoon cocktails too which we sadly missed. Would definitely return if I'm visiting EC1 again.

Excellent”
I was very content with my 4 day stay at the Z Hotel. The hotel is very well situated for Old Street station. My room was very comfortable with perfectly functioning shower and a huge TV with sky. The staff are very friendly and the cheese and wine from 5-8 pm a real bonus. 1 consideration for the management would be to offer options for bedding, my duvet was far too heavy.

Great value hotel in the heart of the ciry”
Great location, exceptionally clean hotel, not much to fault at all. We were invited for cheese and wine in the evenings which was a lovely touch. Room was small but very clean and tidy. Shower was lovely, the only critisism is that the water pressure was so immense that the shower moved of its own accord and pointed forwards instead of downwards! We stayed in the basement which wasn’t a problem except for the noise. I’m not sure if it was air conditioning or pipes above but it wasn’t great. That was the only complaint I have, everything else couldn’t be faulted. I would stay again, but upstairs this time.

The staff is very helpful. We missed the free drinks and cheese. The staff still give us a chances to enjoy it even though it was outside the time slot. Solved our aircon issues by the time we reach hotel when we reported it in the morning.
