Great pet friendly resort, right beside the whale shark center”
Positives: pretty much everything: - pet friendly, unlike Elysia Beach Resort or most other resorts in the PH - very helpful and friendly staff; make sure you tip them, they deserve! - clean and functional rooms, with a decent air conditioner - good bathroom, with hot shower - beautiful gardens - good food, we ate every single meal at the resort (11 meals) because we did not feel the need to look for other restaurants - good drinks selection - they do not serve anything with plastic (they use glasses, metal straw etc) - loud music is not allowed, which seems uncommon in the PH but it really helps keep a peaceful environment. You can hear the waves and the birds chirp all day long - do not miss the sunset from the beach; the sun sets behind the sea and the sky changes colour for about an hour after that Cons: just minor things, really: - the beach is not the nicest, but what really bothers me is the amount of stuff in the water: food wraps, gloves, pipes, ropes and other objects. I hope they can - the bathroom has a window but an exhaust would be helpful - swimming pool could be a bit cleaner - mattress is a bit hard, but not bad

The place to stay in Donsol!”
Stayed only for one night but the whole experience was superb! The whole place was peaceful and beautiful. A lot of greeneries surrounding us. The staff were nice and accommodating. They also have friendly dogs! Our room is clean with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, big patio with a clothesline where you can hang your wet clothes. The pool is clean and big with a beach view. The resort is also walking distance to Donsol Whale Shark Center. There also restaurants nearby. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and excellent experience. We are already planning on coming back!

We loved our stay”
We loved the helpful staff. My phone accidentally got left in the van that dropped us off and they retrieved it for us before we even got settled in our room. The pool is nice and so conveniently located. Happy hour at the bar was really appreciated and again the staff were so wonderful and accomodating.

Great rustic experience ”
We had an awesome time at Vitton. The staff were exceptionally accommodating to our needs and it made the experience worthwhile. The only negative was the rooms which are very basic and the beds are not comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel serves great food!

Our room was a bit expensive for the standing and was lacking a fridge but the balcony with seaview made up for that. The staff was very kind and helpful greatly improving on the quality of our stay. The swimming pool is big and relatively clean. Overall the facility is quiet allowing one to relax and enjoy the sun. Plus they have an amazing happy hour at the bar by the pool ;) Location is good as it is not far from downtown, whaleshark excursions and dive centers. The restaurant is not the greatest and hygiene is limited because there are cats everywhere. Even on top of the check-in counter and on the tables of the restaurant. The staff does not seem to care or act for this simple sanitary precaution. Great place to relax and drink cocktails by the pool. Enjoy your stay in Donsol,

Nice resort in Donsol 💖”
We had a comfortable overnight stay in this resort. The AC worked well in our room. There was a small TV too. Nice view of the pool and the sea from our balcony. I just hope though that the lock in the room can be upgraded already ( still used traditional key and hard to close and open ) Annie, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. She even allowed us to have a late check-out. Thank you! 💖

Just in front from where the boats leave. Very friendly staff (although local people are not used to schedule stuff in advance, they are very helpful; don’t need to stress out). About hotel quality/room, don’t create high expectations as it was a holiday resort.

Good resort, value for money”
It is located directly next to the whaleshark center. If you are sure they saw whalesharks in the morning, chances are high you will spot them once the first boats return. Swimming pool is good, water has a nice temperature. Sunbeds are of wood, it would be nice if they put a soft pillow on it (but apparently this is not done in most hotels)

Perfect location for swimming with whale sharks”
For just one or two nights this is the perfect place to stay if you are in Donsol to swim with whale sharks as it is right next to the tourism office and the boat departure point. However, the rooms were of low quality. My stuff was covered in bits that fell from the ceiling (I think they were wood termites) and there was a lot of ants in the room. It had aircon and a warm shower but the bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. The pool was excellent but the quality of the food at the restaurant was poor. We preferred to eat at other restaurants close by such as Barracuda. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay here for more than 2 nights though!!
