Private beach”
We truly enjoyed our stay at Y resort. The private beach was quite secluded we often had the swimming pool all to ourselves. We enjoyed the hammocks and our daughter loved playing on the mini trampolines. The room was large and the jacuzzi tub was lovely. Overall a great stay!

excellent stay!”
Very excellent stay! I stayed at Y Resort Jeju with my husband and it was a very nice romantic stay. The rooms were very big (1 double bed & 1 single bed) although we used the single bed to put our clothes haha. The kitchen was nicely equipped and there is a dining table too. Big screen TV and a smart screen to control all the temperatures and light switches! It had a balcony too (though unfortunately I left my clothes to dry and forgot to check the balcony when I checked out!). The bathroom was pretty big.. and the indoor jacuzzi is amazing! Very relaxing bubble bath at night! There was complimentary buffet breakfast which has a spread of international (like waffles, scrambled eggs, chicken, sandwiches, etc) and also a korean rice/porridge section. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't really vary so after the first day the food seemed to taste the same. But you could go swimming right after breakfast since it's next to the cafe :) The staff were very friendly and our check in/out was very efficient! We thought the checkout was 12pm, but it was 11am... and we checked out at 11.15am but the receptionist just continued to smile and said it's okay :) I tried to call about the forgotten clothes and they weren't found but I'm thankful that the staff helped to look and called me back anyway. It is a little pricey and if you don't have a car, this area can be a little hard to get to. But it is very close to Marado submarine, Sanbada ATV, and a temple with a Golden Buddha etc (The resort also gives discounts to the attractions!) so overall still good! Anyway, we always rent a car when we travel in Jeju so it's not a problem for us :)

It was the best hotel ive ever stayed in! ”
i really enjoyed my stay in y resort jeju! everything was fantastic. the resort was strategically located near to many attractions. the bathroom was huge and there was a jacuzzi inside. from the balcony, we could enjoy the sea view and mountain view. however, this hotel i will only recommend this hotel if you rent a car in jeju, otherwise it could be quite inaccessible. the breakfast spread was good and the staff are friendly but spoke little english.

The 4th Wonder”
jeju is said to be a place known for 3 things: winds, rocks, and women. i'd like to add one to the list - hospitality. the staff provided us with impeccable service – they are warm, polite and always ready to lend a hand. regardless of the time, they would promptly assist us with arranging for transportation and admissions to various attractions based on our requests. we would also like to extend our gratitude to chef kim sae hoon. going above and beyond his duties, he doubled as a translator and a concierge (i must add that he very patiently researched on places of interest when we ran out of ideas)! he even picked us up one night when we left the resort for dinner at a restaurant nearby, because it was too dark to walk back, and personally sent us off to jungmun, the following day, to get a cab to the airport too! as a service provider myself, i know and i have the ability to recognise sincerity and passion for service. a job well done, y resort. p.s. if that doesn’t sound good enough for you, check out the view.

Clean, very quiet, isolated location”
Overall, really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is a bit isolated, but my gf and I walked back and forth to the nearby main road several times, where there are lots of restaurants including places to get 흑돼지, seafood, and Jeju tangerines. The location is a pretty good base from where you can explore the west side of Jeju one day, and the east side another day. The staff are very helpful - I speak enough Korean that we didn't test their English, but from one conversation it seems they speak English well enough. The room was kept very clean and had several kitchen appliances. Great shower, bathtub, bidet. There are a few quirks that I noticed as a frequent traveler (only 1 large towel, few toiletries, no light switches near the bed). There's a pool area outside that seems like it's just for decoration since it's not deep at all and guests are barely ever outside. The hotel food is nothing special, but with the great local options nearby you probably shouldn't be ordering hotel food anyway.

Relaxing stay in remote location”
Staff English was limited. The manager had spent time in Rockhampton, Australia and was thrilled to find Aussies staying in his hotel. We got some extra attention because of this. The room was glorious. In spite of being near a working port was quiet and peaceful. Great views, glorious sunrise/sunset. Close to town. You do need a car to get around the other sights though (international licence needed to hire) The Jeju Olle walking trail goes right past and is a great experience. The hotel only serves breakfast and bar snacks, so plan to eat at one of the local restaurants or self cater. Don't waste time on Aroma Spa, expensive as you can get the same in Seoul for 45 krw! No hotel pick up from airport - taxi was good option. We were visiting just after high season, so hotel was comfortably occupied.

Simply Astonishing ”
First suggestion: Please rent a car in jeju island with english GPS. For people with US driver licence: go to AAA, show your DL, with $35 and 15 mins waiting you'll get your international driver licence (yes, that easy) We stay at honeymoon suite at Y hotel. Rooms are big, clean, and very romantic ocean view. Perfect for our honeymoon. We can see the over view of the ocean even from jacuzzi room.

Stay Date: 15/5/2013 - 17/5/2013”
Pros: Haevichi has a stunning, lush open lobby area, and large, quiet, tastefully appointed rooms overlooking palm trees, beach front and an impressive view of Mount Halla. Cons: Isolated location, limited, expensive food options and the potential for noise and chaos during the busy season. For anyone who has stayed in a 5 star hotel in North America or Europe, you will not agree with the 5 star rating of the Haevichi. However, I doubt you will find a better quality hotel in Korea. Split into two sections - the "condominium" side (resort) and the hotel side. The condominiums are like apartments, complete with kitchens. The hotel rooms are large, well designed and modern (although some of the light controls were a bit wonky in my room). My double had a lovely little balcony overlooking the rough, black lavastone beach as well as the nearby yellow sand beach with blue-green waters. Jeju island's Mount Halla was also impressively dominant on the horizon when the clouds allowed us to see it. I rarely applaud the design of a hotel, but the Haevichi deserves only my highest approbation The huge main lobby area was filled with plants, trees, a skylight, great lighting and a wide array of nooks and crannies where people could relax to live music, have a coffee or just talk. Really, just stunning. However, I got there on a Thursday during the off season when no one was around, and by Friday the families with children had arrived. Only four kids in the main lobby turned it into an echo chamber that might become rather unnerving in the busy season when far more people use the area. Also, the food was insanely expensive, and contrary to some of the other reviews I read, there were not many restaurant choices in the immediate area. Haevichi is really in the middle of nowhere, so come prepared to pay $30+ for the breakfast buffet or a car to drive the 20 minutes to a place with a larger choice of dining opportunities. Tip #1: The sauna was small, but clean - really a little

New Hotel and great service”
New hotel, new rooms with one queen and one single bed. Well maintained, but the room that we booked didn't come with jacuzzi though the photo on Agoda shows one. However this is not an issue. Limited breakfast spread which is almost the same for every morning during our stay. The restaurant has very few patrons, as most guests will dine out since Jeju island and Korea is famous for their food, grilled black pork and seafood. The hotel has a small minimart and there is a seafood restaurant just within 5 minutes walking distance away.

Modern & Cosy Hotel with Great Service”
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Y Resort. It was newly opened in May 2012 and the room design is very modern, most interestingly it comes with your own private in-room Jacuzzi. Great for couples on honeymoon. The room is very clean and it comes with full kitchenette facilities for those who wish to prepare their own meals. Other great facilities includes screen golf, karaoke and spa facilities. The staff is very helpful and provide service with a smile. Speak good English which was important. All rooms come with a good view of the sea. Overall, a very relaxing place.

A relaxing and pleasant stay.”
The staff were very attentive and showed me where local restaurants are (only 400metres away from the resort.) I arrived late in the evening and used my stay to relax in the room which was comfy and modern and had everything I needed. I had an early morning swim in the pool (6am) but unfortunately I left too early (6:30am) for breakfast and they could not provide any other option for me. But overall the resort has all the facilities you need, a bar, spa, restaurant, convenience store and shopping.

Relax & amazing view”
Our stay is excellent. We love the view and is close to the beach. The only thing lacking is the language skills of the reception staffs. If they could speak English that will be much better. Other than that our stay was excellent. If the price of the hotel could be lower I will stay few more nights for sure. I like the quietness and the relaxing view of the hotel.

Great stay!”
We stayed in the Corner Pool Suite for 2 nights. We had great views of the ocean, which made it a very relaxing stay. There are 2 shower rooms which was great. The room is very clean with modern design. We didn't use the pool in the end since it was cold. The location is fairly remote, hence it is better to rent a car or hire a driver (which we did). The restaurant in the hotel only serves breakfast, which includes both korean and western options. The spread is fairly ok. There are 2 local restaurants which are a short 5 mins walk from the hotel. One of them is black pig bbq, the other is a seafood soup/sashimi place. Both are decent. The staff there speak limited english but some could converse in simple chinese. Overall, I would recommend this place to those who are looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay.

Awesome service!”
Stayed for only 1 night. Had a tough time locating the hotel. Taxi driver gotta call the hotel to check location. Afterall, awesome place. The room is very clean and comes with full kitchenette facilities. There were quite a few facilities which we didnt get to try since its only an 1 night stay. Less than 5 minute to popular landmark. The staffs are very very helpful. Always greeting us with smile and assisting for whatever they could. Will go back there for longer stay.

A remote resort”
It is about 15 mins drive from Jungmun, so difficult to access without a car. Staff speaks very limited English, only one big towel in room but we have two persons. Need to ask for it and they won't replace the big towels automatically. There is a SPA but runs till 7 pm and need to book 2 hrs in advance. We eventually give up doing massage there. The room is spacious but there is no sofa.... and no chairs in the balcony. In short, this is more a resort for locals. With its price, I would have expected more.
