          Winter stay”

          Room heated on arrival. Biscuits included free parking. Some maintenance work in morning-but kindly gave free breakfast after closing time. Woodland setting some picturesque walks close by. Staff genuinely helpful especially Chrisine - House Manager.

          Have stayed there many times - Reception area now closed - you have to book in at the bar Not great... very slow the receptionist was really friendly and professional given what she had to work with ? waiting staff were also friendly plenty to choice from - room clean but needs updating

          Had a lovely stay there for 2 weeks enjoyed every min of it with my dog met my boyfriend here too defo coming back with him soon Staff and everyone friendly lovely area too Bit annoyed about the boys smoking in stairway alarm going off at 3am all had to avacuate the building

          This hotel was an ideal location for us for visiting relatives in London. The room was clean & comfortable & breakfast was good. The hotel is a bit dated but the bedrooms have been renovated. Very reasonable price for London.

          Good Value for Money.”

          Set in Woodland, but still handy for transport links, the Epping Forest hotel is well placed for our purpose of local house-hunting. The facilities are still constrained by Covid, but the staff (especially Stephanie) could not have been more helpful. This was our third stay, and we will certainly be back!

          There is lots to recommend this hotel but in general it has an overall shabbiness, not bad but not good. Whoever picked the carpets, go to Specsavers.
